Mein Firefox (137.0.2 (64-Bit) auf einem Windows 11-PC) lädt einige Webseiten sehr langsam. Davon betroffen sind Facebook, Threads, Instagram, Google. Andere Seiten wie z.B. youtube, spiegel.de, zdf.de etc. lädt er schnell und ohne Probleme. Cache löschen hilft nicht. Ebenso bringt ein neues Browserprofil nichts.

I hope you're doing well. I'm writing to request a feature enhancement for Mozilla Firefox that would greatly improve the user experience, especially on lower-end or older hardware.

Currently, whenever I open Firefox after closing it, it takes about 2–3 seconds to launch. In comparison, Microsoft Edge opens almost instantly due to features like Startup Boost and background mode, which allow it to keep essential processes running even when the main window is closed.

I would love to see similar functionality in Firefox — such as:

An optional "Startup Boost" feature to keep Firefox running in the background for faster launching.

A tray icon mode that allows Firefox to stay running in the system tray instead of closing completely.

A setting to allow background updates or session prep on startup/login.

These additions would make Firefox even more competitive in terms of performance and convenience.

Thank you for your continuous efforts in maintaining a privacy-respecting and open-source browser. I truly appreciate your work.

Whenever I try to resize the fonts using control - and control + keys, only the reading window gets resized leaving the toolbar ribbon and tabs the same size. The real problem is when you open any extension, it also shows in very big fonts which makes doing down to the bottom of the extension window nearly impossible.

Is there any solution to this issue? Please let me know.

Power consumption of Firefox is so high that it nearly killed the display of my iMac. My screen started flickering with horizontal lines across the display. When i touched the screen, it was so hot that I could boil water using it. I did not realize that it was Firefox that was killing my PC until I looked at the power consumption (see the attached screenshot). I hope there is a solution to this since I really love Firefox and have been using it for well over a decade.

A banner appears upper right of screen, stating firefox has 3 notifications (or 1 or 2 etc) but I don't know where to look for them. Can anyone help? I'm using a MacBook Pro from 2010 (when they knew how to make things that lasted) with firefox version 115.22.0esr on macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (which is apparently the last version I can use as computing has vastly outraced my laptops capacity and we are expected to update everything to catch up with security glitches etc so tough sh*t if everything goes wrong. Welcome to capitalism folks.)

Ahem, but I was saying: where are these notifications and why isn't it obvious?

When I used a VPN I got this message

   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

How do I check?

Or does Mozilla have a vpn I can use?

Bonjour, Depuis quelques temps il m'est impossible de marquer les onglets que je désire conserver. La fonction "marquer l'onglet courant" ne fonctionne plus. Sur le même sujet, il m'est également impossible d'effacer les marque-pages que je ne souhaite pas conserver. Donc, pour résumer, impossible de marquer de nouveaux onglets et impossible d'effacer les anciens qui ont été conservés. Merci de votre aide. Hello, For some time now it has been impossible for me to mark the tabs I want to keep. The 'Mark Current Tab' function no longer works. On the same subject, it is also impossible for me to delete tabs that I do not wish to keep. So, to sum up, it is impossible to mark new tabs and impossible to erase the old ones that have been kept. I have moved over from Chrome but this is a bit of a deal-breaker for me, so hopefully something is in the works.

I have tried to make Firefox my default browser on my Dell laptop dozens of times and it keeps switching back to other browsers. How can I set if so it does not keep changing my default browser from of being Firefox? I have set is as Firefox default and it keeps changing it from Firefox. Many thanks, Alan

There is a person with a foreign name registered on my account. There should only be one account. honeybun.2006@yahoo.co.uk. This account was made in 2006 and I still the login for my yahoo account. Please can you remove this other address so I can log into my account. I have tried using my cell number bit no message cone to give me the the code message. I hope you can help. Anna Tice

Bonjour, Voilà, depuis une mise à jour de Windows 11 la kb 5054979 et la kb 5055523 fêtent ensemble j'arrive à accéder à Firefox à l'aide de la souris mais dès que je tape au clavier Firefox plante. J'ai essayer la mise à jour des pilotes du clavier croyant à un problème de drivers mais il est à jour. J'ai désinstallé les mises à jour mais rien n'y fait J'aimerai savoir d’où peu provenir le problème ?. Firefox envoie bien des infos sur le plantage et essaye de remettre les onglets mais le problème reste le même. merci pour votre aide ? Je n'ai rien trouvé correspondant à mon problème dans les articles d'aide

Good afternoon. I now have all my firefox push site notifications set to come through on the desktop even if the browser is closed. However only when I open the browser do the notifications come across as banners and show in the action center on the desktop. How do I have them show without accessing Firefox? Thank you.

I have a Mac Air and it is up to date. and I use Firefox browser which is up to date, but I suddenly cannot access a website to which I have a subscription which is paid up through November. The website is 'Mypilatestime' and now when I try to access it, it states 'forbidden' and is blank. I can access it on Google Chrome but Firefox is my preferred browser. Why can't I access it as usual? Please send a fix ASAP!!
