Greetings all, my trusty Firefox stopped working. Error Code PR_Connect_reset_error. Other browsers work fine. I have windows 10 with the latest updates and use Kaspersky Internet Security 21.3.10.391 (m). I have paused Kaspersky, uninstalled then reinstalled Firefox 3 times. I have cleared all Firefox cookies and caches a number of times. On my 2nd Firefox reinstallation Firefox worked ok for a couple of times then stopped again with the same error code. Please note that I am not very familiar with computer stuff so any suggestions need baby steps. Many thanks.

Can’t launch Firefox 3.5.19 on Linux Ubuntu When trying to run with:

./firefox

Terminal gives the following:

./firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libdbus-glib-1.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

when I try to use face book messenger for video calling I receive the message "video calling is not supported by this browser" I have never had this problem before I agreed to Firefox as my default browser. Is Firefox not compatible with face book?

I am unable to get access to my Gmail accounts. Every time I select a bookmark link to Google email I get server time out error pages. I have looked at Windows 10(64) Firewall settings and I do not find anything blocking Firefox from accessing the internet(Inbound or Outbound Rules) are set to allow. NordVPN is not set to block any program or connection. I have never seen anything block access to Google.com or any related pages within Google. HELP Please!

I paid for the adblock premium and now youtube is not even skipping the ads, they just play and firefox doesnt seem to be blocking anything. it was actually better before i paid anything, this feels very scammy. wth is happening?

I can't access my Google account. Because when I try to Kohinoor to it,it asks me for two-step verification. This is my old Google account, now I don't have that old mobile or phone number so I Can't access it.please help me recover my Google account. This is my old Google account that I want to restore. There are other threads about this, but the solutions given haven't worked for me. I'm using Mullvad VPN, and whenever it's on, I cannot search for anything regardless of my search engine, and pretty much the only website that will open is Tumblr. For anything else, the URL will be in the bar at the top, but it won't do anything beyond that; it won't even show the loading symbol. It worked very briefly when I first got the VPN, but now it doesn't. Other browsers work with my VPN. What am I supposed to do?

When I play games like classic.minecraft.net or krunker.io, the pointer speed is very slow. So I would like to know if there is a way to change the pointer speed of firefox.

I have been trying to solve this issue all evening:

HOW does one insert a picture is the text of an email message. I can attach the picture to the email but when I try to drag it into the text, it tells me cannot do it now but to try layer. Its it a memory issue?

Windows 10 Firefox v133.03 20241209150345 64bit Dec 10, 2024.

The issue is I do not have "Pictures" highlighted under the "Insert" menu. However, I do have "Attach file" which I did above, but I cannot drag the picture into the text and scale it as in the past.

When I try to insert the picture into the text, the message "The following files couldn't be attached: Filename.jpg. Please try again later." appears at the very top of the display.

"Link", "Pictures", "Emoji", and "Table" are all not hi-lighted. Do not know why???

I am encountering an issue with the Ultimate Addon Image Gallery when viewed in the Mozilla browser. I always use the middle mouse button (pressing the scroll wheel) to open and close new tabs, but since the update, it doesn't work anymore and now types "=" if the cursor is in a text field. For context, I use an MX Master S3, mapped with Logi Options+.

Anyone else having this issue? How do I roll back to the previous version??

SOLVED: It was a bug with Logi Options+, not Firefox. When I hovered over the tab for the presets I had for CaptureOne, I noticed it also said Firefox. So seems something weird happened there. Deleted that preset and the issue in Firefox went away.

I couldn't find a way to delete this thread, though.

I am trying to hide the AI results on Google search, but I can only find instructions for Chrome. I prefer to use Firefox, but I loathe the AI results. Is there any way I can go back to the way it was before on Firefox?

Hello, I am experiencing unexpected behaviour with local storage in Firefox Portable ESR 102.1.0 on Windows 11. In particular, the data is not deleted as expected after closing the application, even after clearing the cache in my code, the data persists when I open the application the next time. This behaviour is observed under windows10 but is common under windows11.

I suspect that this issue may be related to:

• Interactions between Firefox Portable's cache management and Windows 11's system-level caching
• Specific behavior of the ESR 102.1.0 version on Windows 11

I would appreciate it if you could investigate this issue and provide any insights or solutions.

I recently added an entry to my hosts file but Firefox seems to ignore it. I'm using v. 128.5.1esr, fully updated. I've tried a lot of the advice online and none of it seems to work. Here's what I've tried:

disabled "Enable DNS over HTTPS Cleared the DNS Cache changed "Use system proxy settings" to "No proxy". tried troubleshooting mode set network.trr.exclude-etc-hosts to true changed browser.fixup.dns_first_for_single_words to true changed network.dns.offline-local to false restarted FF, rebooted computer

It doesn't work in Chrome either, which makes me wonder if it's a Windows 10 issue. Any suggestions?

I'm on OS Windows 11 and the latest version of FF (133). I also use NordVPN; I can access the web via Edge and Chrome with VPN, but for the last month, it doesn't work with FF. What could be the problem?
