I wanted to upgrade and update my Firefox to the latest version. Encountered some errors so I uninstalled the old version and reinstalled Firefox' latest version. Now all of a sudden all my Add-ons / Plugins / Extentions on the latest version of Firefox for Mac OS is gone...

Hoping someone can help me with this asap.

I was prompted to update firefox on my mac laptop.

So I did the update by clicking the button available at the top of the firefox browser, but now I can not open Firefox at all.

When I click on the firefox icon it does not open firefox and this message appears: You can't use this version of the application "Firefox with the version of OS X. You have OS X 10.11.6 . The application requires OS X 10.12 or later.

I understand what this means but not sure how to revert back to the previous version of firefox.

When installing the new update/version of firefox, i have deleted the old version of firefox.

Following the instructions above I went to: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/ , but can not find the previous version of firefox that I need.

The only info I have on firefox is version 102.2.0. I am after the version before this as assume that is the one compatable with my laptop currently (i can not update the OS ).

Can you help me download the previous version so it is compatable with my mac laptop?

When working in a Service Desk website, trying to drag an email attachment from Outlook into the attachment field of the webpage does not work. The attachment field responds as though it will work, but then no attachment appears. Downloading and dragging the attachment from the desktop DOES work, but the client wants to be able to just drag from the email directly.

I have tested the same procedure in Chrome, Safari and Microsoft Edge and they all work, so the problem must be Firefox. Version: 102.5.0esr (64-Bit)

The client will temporarily use Edge, but Firefox is the preferred browser, so I really hope you have a suggestion.

Addendum: As I stated in my answers to the two replies that I got, this problem is occurring on Windows 10 Enterprise 22H2 - 19045.2364 and with macOS Big Sur 11.7.2 (personal computer).

I upgraded Firefox to the latest version on the macOS yesterday, but the problem persisted. I also upgraded Firefox on one of the Windows machines here at the University, but again, the problem persisted. Later, I will upgrade Firefox on a Windows machine not connected to the university's network, just to make sure.

I just discovered something interesting as I tested dragging the email attachment from web-based email accounts - personal outlook, work outlook and gmail that were accessed from Chrome, Edge and also from Firefox. Dragging and Dropping the email attachment into the form did not work on any of the browsers.

If there is anything that I can do to help with the troubleshooting process, please let me know.

Oops. I replaced my version of Firefox with the the newest version, but my OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6 does not support it. Now I can't browse with Firefox. How may I get the compatible version back?

Hi, I downloaded iMacros 8.9.7 onto an older version of Firefox, but when I click the extension the sidebar is blank. I know the add-on is there because if I move my mouse I can see there are buttons I can click.

I also recently posted a question about my Firefox screen being blank which was resolved.

My Firefox change automatic change language. When restart firefox looks ok but after sometime automatic change launguage. Please check attached screenshot. I am using Mac book pro 13in version and other thing attached.

I need a link to download the last version of Firefox that worked with my iOs 10.11111111... version for my OLD MacBook Pro. (2009)... Can't afford new Mac and newest version of iOs won't run on this MacBook... Too old... Same story: need new, no $$$... So, I what I need is a link to the old version of Firefox that I CAN run on my MacBook... One that works with iOs 10.11116 or whatever...

Every time I open a new tab or go to a tab that I have open, when I come back after my computer has been asleep and try to search for something or refresh a tab, it will give me an error message. I have to close the tab and search again then it works, sometimes I have to do it 2 or 3 times to get it to work. This just started happening with MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 and FireFox 103.0.2 updates in the last few weeks. I tried restarting my computer and I deleted the Firefox app and reinstalled but nothing helps.

I am suddenly unable to drag downloaded files from firefox to a folder on my mac. This is a new issue - always worked before. What's the fix? Thanks

Hi all, I'm having an issue that I've seen mentioned over several years and without a workable solution - I'm at the point of having to transfer all my browser usage to chrome and abandon my beloved firefox. The issue has been 'answered' by advanced users to tell people to 'inspect' which font is the issue then check local systems font book for corrupted/duplicate fonts: however this is not a satisfactory response. Context: see screen shot attached for what the jibberish looks like, and a point in the 'inspect' view that I believe (guessing) is involved. System: Firefox 112.0.2 (64-bit), MacOS 13.3.1 (a) (22E772610a) on Macbook Pro (13-inch, 2020, 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5). This same websites do not have any issue on the same computer viewed on Chrome or Safari. Nor is there any problem on my iPhone on the iOS firefox browser.

Firstly this is not a user-friendly solution for most people, I'm afraid. Opening the inspect viewer is mindboggling for anyone who doesn't code and even for people who do some programming but not for websites (like me), it isn't exactly self-explanatory. I think I've managing to find examples that indicate 'Roboto' seems to be consistently involved in the display issue. Secondly, the step for 'fixing' the font that is the culprit - my local system indicates that all fonts are valid and there are no duplicates. I haven't installed manually Roboto as I'm uncertain where to 'safely' get the font from and my computer is owned and managed by my workplace - with overly strict administration/security rules so if I f-up a download of something dodgy my IT service will blacklist me and revoke my admin access... ** which would mean I'd be unable to do my job!**. I wondered if perhaps there is some security setting due to that, which stops website from loading the fonts they choose? From previous 'solutions' it said that having Firefox preference set to "allow websites to choose their own fonts..." should mean the websites can load as needed. If indeed I must manually download fonts for each and every instance that Firefox fails to display text legibly that is equivalent to Firefox being unusable. I'm clearly frustrated and it's because I love FIrefox and the ethos behind it all so leaving for Chrome would be very sad indeed! Help and a solution for normal users would be so very much appreciated. Also where can I properly lodge this issue with peeps who fix things? There are issues of this kind going back years and for both Windows and Mac Systems so it's not a one-off problem but a recurring one! My Mac: macOS Monterey 12.5.1 Firefox: 105.0.1 Since I updated my system Firefox has trouble loading and closing some pages, especially my BOA and ATT.net email accounts. Any thoughts on why this is happening and what to do about it? It's especially concerning with the sites I go to to pay bills.

ATT.net I can sign in OK but then I get a page that says redirecting and it never loads. When I use Chrome, I'm not having a problem. All my bookmarks are set in Firefox so I'd rather not have to change them all over to Chrome. I can sign into my BOA account with no problem. When I sign out of BOA I get a window with a spinning dial that says signing out please wait but it never stops, leaving me wondering if it's exposed.

Trying to play video included in Amazon Prime subscription. I received a warning from Amazon about 2 weeks ago that After Dec 6 I would need the latest Firefox update. I updated. Now as shortly after video starts to lord, I get a message in a box that says I need to upgrade Firefox to play this video. I have checked the "about Firefox" tab and it says I am up to date. I am running 91.4.0esr and checkbox says I am up to date. ????

Simple. I want to change the background color from black to white. I hate the black background.

It will make me leave firefox and use a different browser.  Don't understand why this is not easily found in preferences.
