Looking for help to try and work out what is happening. Over the last few days, after powering up and browsing the internet everything works fine for a while. Main websites are Facebook, YouTube and continually clicking on bookmarked items. Normally only a few tabs are open at any one time. Then after some time, I open a new tab and get the

Gah. Your Tab Just Crashed message appear on the new tab and can not access any websites after this. The Close Tab, Restore Tab, Restore All Tabs do nothing.

I have to reboot the PC and start again.

I'm using the latest version 126.0.1 (64-bit).

• Tried running in Safe Mode, uninstalled Firefox and re-installed it, reverted back to 126.0 (64-bit) and same issue.

• I've cleared the cache and history

• Had Add Blockers, FB Purity and New Tab Override Extensions. Disabled these and still no success.

• I have AVG driver update installed and its telling me all the drivers are up to date.

• The problem seemed to start happening after an AVG update, so I have removed AVG Antivirus

The computer is an ASUS Vivobook Laptop, Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-1005G1 CPU @ 1.20GHz 1.19 GHz with 8GB ram.

Hello, my browser keeps coming up with my location as Boydton, VA 23917, My actual location is Collegeville, PA 19426. Other browsers get my location correct, only Firefox continues to come up with Boydton, VA 23917. Could there be someone accessing my account in Boydton, VA 23917?

For months, now, whenever I try to post a comment on a Yahoo! News article, it reads: "Your comment has failed to published." This only happens in Firefox. My "Privacy & Security" settings are set to "Standard," my "History" set to "use custom settings for history" with settings "Remember browsing and download history" and "Clear history when Firefox closes." so cookies and cache get cleared then.

Sometimes this works when starting a new session. But I shouldn't have to start another session and lose all of my logins just to post a comment on a Yahoo News article.

Anyone else having this problem? Is there an easy and permanent fix? What are you settings set at?

I am encountering display issues with my WordPress website, which is dedicated to a fan-made game called Pokémon Infinite Fusion. The site appears to load correctly on other browsers like Chrome and Edge, but certain elements are not displaying properly on Firefox.

   CSS and JavaScript Debugging: Checked and validated CSS and JavaScript for compatibility issues.
   Browser Cache Clearing: Cleared the cache and cookies in Firefox to ensure it wasn’t a caching issue.
   Add-ons Disabled: Ran Firefox in Safe Mode with all add-ons disabled to see if any extensions were causing the issue.
   Responsive Design Mode: Used Firefox's Responsive Design Mode to check how the site renders on different screen sizes.
   Error Console: Reviewed the Error Console in Firefox to identify any specific errors or warnings.

What I Expected:

I expected that the website would display consistently across all browsers, including Firefox.

What Actually Happened:

Despite my efforts, certain elements on the site, such as images and interactive features, still do not display correctly on Firefox. These issues are not present on other browsers, which suggests a compatibility problem specific to Firefox.

Questions:

   Are there any known compatibility issues between Firefox and certain WordPress themes or plugins that might cause this problem?
   Could there be specific CSS or JavaScript practices that work in other browsers but not in Firefox?
   Are there additional tools or techniques in Firefox that I can use to diagnose and fix these display issues?

I would appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to resolve these display issues. Ensuring a consistent user experience across all browsers is important for my website.

I was looking for an item that would be a couple of years back in my history, only to discover that my history now only goes back a year and 3 months… Exactly, as of today, I don't know if that's meaningful. Does anyone have any idea what might've happened, and how I can restore the rest of my history? Thank you!

I'm on a Mac using Mojave, with Firefox version 115.8.

Have been unable to view readers comments for a number of weeks and can figure out how to fix. it is not all the time, like last night were available but not this morning. All other browsers there is no issue including DuckDuckGo. Am using Ublock Origin, but have been using for years with no issue, even when turn off result the same.

Recently became unable to update Spybot and Malwarebytes. Ran Windows Defender which didn't find anything but when I run ClamWinPortable, it produced and moved the file to quarantine. This makes Firefox unusable. Reinstalled Firefox via another browser and the same thing happens. Do you have any suggestions please?

Hello, I want to add a secondary email to my Mozilla account. I have looked at the help page but can't get the first step of the instructions to work. See image 1 below.

This is the only "Burger" I can see, and I am Signed In to Support. See image 2 below.

This is not a bug or issue, rather a use case question. I have a webpage with information and I don't want to accidentally click or submit anything on the page.

This could also be considering having a form etc in draft form as view-only so you go into "View Only Mode" and work the webpage as a reference etc. without having to worry about any accidental submission or mistakes.

If someone knows of Add-ons or how we can achieve it with FF, it would be much appreciated. Posting, since I expect to have this case often.

Hi, it has been a while that one of the updates on firefox removed the ability to navigate using the middle click, i waited and waited for some day an update drop and fix that but it's been a while and nothing has come, i was sure to test this on another computer and it didn't worked as well so i'm pretty sure firefox has some problems, i mainly use a drawing tablet because i don't have a mouse, so navigating is a bit hard without the usual middle click nagivation(i'm not sure if there is an actual name to that), please help

I accidentally closed my Previous Tabs Session and am unable to find them. I've tried some of the online tips but am still unsuccessful. Is there somewhere on my computer where I can find the previous tabs that I had open in Firefox?

Hi, in my settings Firefox is set to "remember history", but there are no options for how long and when i look into my history, it doesn't go back further than a year. I found a few answers to this on some forums talking about the places.history.expiration.max_pages setting and others about the places.history.expiration.transient_current_max_pages setting but those don't exist in my Firefox and the threads are more than a decade old. I currently have version 126.0.1 64bit on Linux. How can i keep my history forever?

Hi my old account email doesnt exist anymore, I cannot log into that account so i cant login to Firefox because its sending a confirmation code to my old email but i cannot login to this email account anymore so i cant get the code to login to firefox. Is there anyway I can still change the email adress from my account? Thank you!

i formatted my computer, and used last session .Json files to restore my tabs from before. this allowed me to have my tabs. but even weeks after reinstalling, Firefox does something uncharacteristic. it opens with one window with one tab. then after a second or two, it closes. and then reopens with all the tabs. I would consider a re-install but i don't want to lose the tabs again, and i have 2 computers with different tab sessions (different users on the reformatted one as its a family computer)

When selecting a file to upload, firefox freezes, when windows file explore pops up to select a file. Looked through a the help articles, but many are older and do not relect on my perticular issue, or they are to technical for me. Need to register a product and must upload a photo and order cop...go figure???

Suddenly my Firefox cannot open saved .htm/.html files on my pc but Edge can. I don't know when this happened but probably during the last month or so. When I try to open a saved .htm or .html file Win10 gives me a "Windows cannot find (path and file name)" error. If I "OPEN WITH" Edge it works just fine. I've checked my default apps and file type associations and they are all properly set to Firefox. I did a RESTART in Firefox but that was no help. Is this actually a Windows problem, or do I need to do a complete uninstall and reinstall of Firefox? Currently running Win10 (64-bit) and Firefox 126.0.1 (64-bit).
