Hi, there are certain extensions which will not pin to the toolbar, including (for example) google translate. I have tried refreshing, clearing the cache, deleting and reloading, all to no avail.

I just updated my Firefox Developer edition and it completely deleted every add on and customization I had on my browser. Same for Firefox for iOS.

I have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on my desktop but I have no real way to make it work with the newly downloaded and overwritten new browser.

Am I the only person who's really sad about this?

Also, on the iOS browser I'm no longer able to create a BLANK PAGE as a start page for BOTH HOME AND NEW TAB.

How do I create that? There's no option in the dropdown on the mobile settings. And it does not allow me to type in about:blank and then select in the mobile settings. It just stays red and then disappears when I try to do it again.

I’m using firefox-dev under debian linux and since last updates my cron script that was supposed to open a certain url in firefox at a regular schedule stopped working.

I do export DISPLAY=:0 than run firefox $url and all was fine previously but now I always received a message : “Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To use Firefox, you must first close the existing Firefox process, restart your device, or use a different profile.”

You can easily reproduce by running : sudo -u $(whoami) /path/to/firefox-dev/firefox https://www.google.com

Can somebody explain what is checked by firefox and why it consider it is not responding instead of just open my url in a new tab ?

Unable to access "my social security account" on ssa.gov. Of course ssa phone support (and every other website i have issues with) claims Mozilla Firefox Browser is the issue 202110211333

It's been over 2 months I have been attempting contact with them by phone, email, online. I have cleared cache, updated browser, etc. Please assist.

Sometimes when loading a page, and the page is slow to respond, I will see a strange situation: The page is totally blank (the F12 tool does not display page content). The refresh button is gray (disabled), or sometimes although the refresh button enabled, the url textbox is "about:blank", which means I cannot actually reload the page I want to read. I have to re-navigate to the page through the link in the previous link. I'm not sure whether I got across. I hope the issue can be fixed.

I deal with www.vistaprint.co.uk The website opens, but I am unable to log in as the page freezes. I phoned Vistaprint and they told me never to use Firefox as it has problems, but to use Chrome. www.vistaprint.co.uk works normally with both Chrome and Windows Edge, but I prefer Firefox. Why do sites not work properly with my preferred browser - Firefox?

I formatted my computer and then when I had to login to my Firefox Browser. It was not taking any of my old passwords. So, I had to reset my Firefox Sign In password. After the password was reset and sign in. I couldn't find any of my previously synced bookmarks. The synced bookmarks are extremely important for me. I need them back. Kindly suggest and show some way to get them back. Please help. Please Please,

As my project is using indexDB, it doesn't load in Firefox Private Mode. Can you help me on how I can access & change "dom.indexedDB.privateBrowsing.enabled" config value from JavaScript code. Before there use to be a Preference API by Firefox, but now when I go to that link it displays 'page not found'

Microsoft Outlook is not loading on Firefox since I updated to version 94 (Win 10) today. I can launch other apps from Office.com (OneDrive, OneNote, SharePoint, etc.) but not Outlook. It is coming up as a blank screen.

Any ideas?

I would like to do an update of Firefox Browser. I've been unable to log in to websites, such as my bank, for which I have been able to access. Strange but I could log in, then for about a week I couldn't log in to bank site via my Icon shortcut. Then it began working again under the original icon. I was forced to use google during this time, which has worked. I prefer Firefox, because of more privacy. Again today, I was unable to access aaa.com, I was able to sign on via my iphone 8. Then I tried Google sign on, again it worked. This problem is intermittent. I thought I'd make sure Firefox Browser was updated. I have windows 7 on this computer. The browser update seemed to start then just hang.

My Yahoo email account timed out and did its usual auto-logout. Now I can't sign back in. When I pt in user name and password it goes back to logout and sign in in an endless loop

Just as was reported https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1313461 here, when I went to Google today, none of the famous "People also ask" dropdowns would work. Neither would any of Google's custom javascript widglets (I made that term up. They are likely Angular apps). This behavior also happened with some of the controls on my online bank's pages. This behavior is not present in Edge.

This is a new computer to me, and once recently, I lost control of some of Firefox's own menu items (I could scroll to items on the 3-bar menu, but not click some of them). Don't know if the two problems are related. The only thing that fixed that issue was to re-install Firefox.

I'm currently on Win 10, FF 94.0 (64 bit). I have tried all the standard advice: clearing cookies and cache, starting in troubleshooting mode, refreshing Firefox, and fiddling with performance settings (am I right that turning on and off hardware acceleration is no longer an option?).

Since I did try troubleshooting mode, I don't think this is caused by an extension, but who knows...is it possible for an extension to break FF, then have the broken behavior continue even after refresh? I'd really like to figure this out so I don't have to re-install the program every time this occurs.

Unable to install Trend Micro Toolbar extension for Firefox  v. 93.0 & v. 94.0 Encountering being redirected to " Oops! We cannot find that page" when the user clicked "Install Firefox toolbar"...

I have also reported this to Trend Micro and there reply was;

As per our Expert Engineers, Currently, the Trend Micro toolbar for Firefox is still under maintenance. You may encounter being redirected to " Oops! We cannot find that page" when the user clicked "Install Firefox toolbar" They have advised customers to use a different browser temporarily. We are already coordinating with Mozilla Firefox to make it available as soon as possible."

I know this is hackneyed, but long ago, my ex husband set up my computer with Firefox, but it would - per my request, open with Yahoo, which is my default search engine. Occasionally, options pop up from Firefox, like today, it was to set the background color, and in the process is made Firefox my default everything.
