I have used the Firefox add-on "Evernote web clipper" for years. Several months ago, I got a new laptop, and got web clipper up and running, for a while.Then, the web clipper icon disappeared. Firefox tells me it is still active, but I am unable to use it. Also, I am unable to log onto Evernote.com via Firefox. Have to use Edge. I have submitted this request before, and got suggestions, but none solved the problem. I am willing to pay to have this problem solved. Hi, I am working on an extension which fetches my google calendar events and shows them nicely as graphs and summarizes the events. I need a CLIENT_ID in for getting an access token from google (OAuth2). I got one from my google cloud console but I don't think I should push that to the add-ons site.
I am quite new to this javascript/browser world and don't know where to go from here. It would be great if people can just download my add-on and just use it without providing a client ID and zipping it themselves. I asked this question on stack overflow and they marked it as off-topic :_).
So far I couldn't find any information related to this on the web.

I use Google for my search engine when using Firefox web browser. I've recently been getting a long list of ads / notifications in Google when I activate Google from Firefox. It does not interfere with the functioning of Google but I have no idea how this situation occurred. I am concerned about privacy and security. This does not happen when I use Chrome as my browser. I can access Google when I use Chrome as my search engine with no useless ads or notifications appearing in Google. Thank you Ken
