For the last few weeks i've noticed youtube vids buffer but then sometimes stop and when the video reaches that point on the bar it skips about 5-10 seconds, then contines to buffer like normal, so I have to use the arrow keys to go back to see what I missed. It is very annoying. Happens almost 1-2 every day at random times. My wifi speed is good. I've cleared cookies and caches, turned off enhanced tracking protection for youtube, i've even increased perfomance settings for intel graphics in my pc's power manegment plan. Nothing! Can anyone help, thanks.

Keep getting this response from browser or bank log-in site: "You were signed out due to inactivity, but you can log in again whenever you’re ready."

Able to access site on MS Edge using same pwd and user ID

Upgrade my desktop Firefox browser to version 126.0.1 a few days ago.

Since then, I'm having all kinds of probs logging in to social media sites.

The biggest prob is with X. I've tried to inquire about this situation with X support. I'm being told that my account is good and I should not be having log-in probs. When I explain that I'm being given an authentication challenge that is not allowing me in - despite the fact that the challenge is cleared - I'm told that I should consider my browser privacy settings.

Nothing has changed with this since my last log-ins except the upgrade for Firefox.

Please advise regarding this inquiry: is there something new in the privacy issues with this new upgrade? And how can this issue be resolved?

My website is shown as insecure. If I open it with Chrome, it is okay. If my girlfriend opens it from her computer with firefox, it is okay too. What is wrong here?

I am using latest of Firefox and DuckDuckGo. When I type something in the main search bar (in the middle of screen) the text moves to the search field in the toolbar area. I find this annoying. I want to text to remain in the main search bar (middle of screen). Any solution?

Every time I attempt to download a file today, no matter what it is or where it's from, it pops up saying that the download failed immediately. I can download through Edge or other browsers, just not Firefox (or any Firefox offshoots like LibreWolf). Not sure what's causing it, I've run a whole gambit of troubleshooting options, including:

• Checking my connection
• Checking my drive's space (plenty)
• Changing the download path
• Reset the download folder in about:config
• Rebooting my computer
• Clearing my downloads
• Trying a new profile
• Run a MalwareBytes scan
• Closed MalwareBytes and turned off my firewall
• Ensured OneDrive is disabled
• Refreshed Firefox
• Did a clean install

Nothing works. The only thing I found that gives me any kind of clue is this error message in my about:support: ""NotAllowedError: Could not create unique file in `C:\Users\[my name redacted]\AppData\Local\Temp' (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED"" It seems like Firefox is trying to write to Temp and can't get the permissions, but I'm not sure why that would be or how to fix it. I have tried googling my butt off, but I'm not finding anything helpful - I may just be blind.

If anyone has any idea how to fix this, it'd be much appreciated!

i updated my browser and now everything is gone, my extentions wont open as its in "safe mode", none of my browsing history is saved anymore. should I delete firefox and reinstall it?

When i scroll up and down on a page, it instead provides the back-page instead of scrolling up and down on the website. this is for all websites. the scroll function works oroperly in system settings, it is only with firefox. autoscrolling is enabled in settings.

I have issues since a few months that Firefox loads website only when I actively click on the app and put in foreground. Then the tabs start loading. Why is that?

After startup of Windows 10, I usually run a little batch script of mine starting various applications such as Outlook, Notepad++ etc, including Firefox along with my favourite websites, just like this:

So Firefox loads and opens all the tabs in the background, while other apps such as Outlook or Notepad++ come in the foreground. I read mails etc. before I decide to check e.g. Wikipedia. So it might take 5 minutes after Firefox got opened before I actively put it in the foreground. THEN I see no websites got loaded, and THEN Firefox starts to load the websites, which then takes the normal amount of time of a few seconds.

I wonder why Firefox does not load all my requested websites directly after start in the background.

An annoying side effect is, when still in Outlook and clicking on a website link in an email, it won't open in Firefox, most likely due to that reason that Firefox still waits for all the other websites to load. I need to put it into foreground, wait for the loading process to complete, and then go back to the email and click on the link again.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I've recently downloaded firefox and trying to add extensions that were similar to the ones I used on chrome. My problem is that all the extensions (Hoverzoom, Short Keys) in the extensions tab in the toolbar and appear to not be working (both in private and normal browsing). However the extensions (Ublock, SponsorBlock) that have their own icon on the toolbar seem to be working fine.

I have installed firefox in my laptop for years. after latest update, firefox runs just fine only for the 1st time, then after closing the app / restarting the laptop, firefox keep giving error (attached) I have tried to refresh, run troubleshoot mode, uninstall and reinstall again at one point I was able to recreate the issue only after reinstalling firefox 126.0.1 portable version and then syncing to the profile ( run ok for 1st time, then it broke down after closing it) The problem also seems repeatable using firefox 115 protable Now, I tried to reinstall the portable version from scratch, it keeps hitting same error from 1st run

I have also double check the firewall and antivirus to make its not blocking All other browsers works just fine

I changed the 'mousewheel.with_shift.action' to a '5' in 'about:config' to be able to use pinch zoom on my desktop with a keyboard and mouse, like I'm able to do on my phone or laptop with a touch screen. This does work properly and I'm able to pinch zoom by holding down the Shift key and scrolling my mouse wheel up and down.

However, there is an issue of sensitivity. The pinch zoom is painfully slow, and I have been unable to adjust its speed. If there exists an option to change the pinch zoom sensitivity, I'd greatly appreciate the help.

After update to 126.0.1 I cant access two of the four windows that are open. They are still listed under the Window toolbar option but clicking on them reveals nothing, as if hidden except they are not in the Mac toolbar. Not sure if this is a new feature or glitch, any help would be great, the two windows I can't currently access contain alot of tabs I need.

There are a bunch of obsolete suggestions on opening FF without address bar, menu bar, etc., and kiosk mode.

I do not want Kiosk mode, but do need ability to open it via command line so that only the title bar (and borders around the app.

The most current available entry on the matter in the Mozilla site no longer works (at least for me) --

Also even if it did, not viable to update all FF users as these are customers, and they won't, simple as that. Chromium browsers just work by passing the command by default.

This is for use to launch a local help/users guide from a Windows application. Can do so on Chrome/Edge, but leaving out FF is less than ideal.

I know I can install a website blocker - which I have, but it does not apply to the private window so I have full access to social media on it, I just have to log in. I want to COMPLETELY block Facebook and Instagram off of my laptop. Is this possible? Thank you!

I contact you because, even without an adblocker, Youtube is very slow with Firefox navigator. I don't understand why and I don't have this problem with Google Chrome ? Fews years earlier, I never had this problem with slow Youtube when using Firefox Navigator. I don't know if the problem comes from Youtube or Mozilla and I contacted both of them.

Je vous contacte car, même sans bloqueur de publicité, Youtube est très lent avec le navigateur Firefox. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi et je n'ai pas ce problème avec Google Chrome ? Quelques années plus tôt, je n'avais jamais eu ce problème de lenteur avec Youtube lorsque j'utilisais Firefox Navigator. Je ne sais pas si le problème vient de Youtube ou de Mozilla et je les ai contactés tous les deux.

I can't see my own music tracks posted on x.com! That's a kind of fraud! What are you doing? At SAP I have to use Edge on Linux already cause you are doing a very bad job! WTF is going on? Are you doing anything or just breaking things?
