Since reinstalling Thunderbird and Firefox, When i get an email in my Thunderbird email listing, clicking a link does not open it so I have to copy it and open it in Firefox.

since my last update I am unable to access 4 web sites which I normally use.I have firefox ESR and am on windows 7. Edgesuite is blocking two of my sites, Sephora and Argos and QVC tells me they are unavailable. Scottish Power tells me there is a client error.

Please help.

Running "Mozilla Thunderbird v115.18.0 (64-bit)" on my Windows 7 laptop. I want the Inbox to display "Headers" such as "Date", "Size", etc. But I cannot seem to make this happen. Please help me. Thank you, Ron

How to filter all incoming emails to copy to another folder?

Filter has no "on incoming" criteria, only

Subject
From
Date
Size

I want "upon arrival", copy to ... Archive will probably do.

Alternatively, is there a setting for ALL Subjects, ALL Froms, ALL Dates, ALL sizes?

Hi, I'm still using Windows 7. Yes probably that's a cause but I'm not sure how. I'm using Firefox 115.38.0esr. Now for a while I've been finding it difficult to log into eBay. I'd try and log on and get this message "SORRY

Something went wrong on our end

<a varying error number>

Please go back and try again or go to eBay Homepage."

I'd go to the homepage and successfully log in. Then it took more than one try. Now I can't log in at all. I can still log in on a buying only account. It doesn't allow me to use the password, but it will accept access via text message. With the seller accounts, it doesn't give the option for access via text message only. Can this be fixed by Mozilla? I removed all extensions, and reset by PC to an earlier backup in case corruption was a cause. I've also deleted the cash.

I've been using TB for many years, and without warning, when it tries to down load my mail from the Proton mail server, it says it can't find the folder "Inbox". I've tried to "repair" that folder a couple times unsuccessfully. I've restarted the TB program a couple times, but nothing changes. The error shows up on the bottom "instruction line". I've gone through all my settings and find nothing amiss. Not sure where to go from here. -- Just noticed that I had about 80 emails in that Inbox folder that are now missing completely. Normally, I move read emails to there respective folders, and leave important ones in the Inbox for followup. One significant note here, is I'm still using Win 7 premium. I cannot access my Yahoo email account currently on desktop computer, using Windows 7 Pro and Firefox 115.37.0esr. The Select Verification Method window appears but the cursor changes from an active hand to just the regular cursor shape and nothing will be active in the window. This isnt a problem on my phone or when using Chrome on the same desktop. Is there any chance of resolving this with these versions of Windows and Firefox?

I'm planning to change my email provider and during the transition period I need to have the old and new accounts running concurrently. The help article states:

".....you can create additional profiles, each with their own set of account configurations, messages, etc. (Note, each profile can access multiple email accounts''.) .

but I can't see how this would work. If anyone can explain in simple terms how to achieve this, or point me to the relevant information I should be most grateful.

I used Pocket for a while. It was excellent since it allowed taking a webpage and converting it to a document that could be copied and pasted to Microsoft word. This allowed further analysis and work on the contents of the page and was extremely useful.

Now that Pocket is gone is there another extension or a purchased extension that does the same thing on the present day Firefox.

I presently use Windows 7 and Windows 10.

I am looking to be able to INDEPENDENTLY close Firefox (Standard) windows separate from those running in a Private session.

ATM, it does not seem possible to close just one type of Firefox session without the other.

I see this possibly as a simple about:config switch which would allow one to close ALL Standard or Private windows with the respective system tray icon's "Close (All) Windows" OR the Menu's Exit selection. No other behaviors need change.

USE CASE: I frequently use both types of windows and will sometimes close Firefox Standard and unintentionally loose tabs I have not saved in Private.

I maintain a Hotmail account and copy traffic to my local system. Upon reboot Thunderbird shows some files from 2024 and no local folders where I stored all my re-directed traffic.

I've run some system / disk checks and no obvious problems.

Any thoughts besides upgrading to current OS etc? Is there a Thunderbird backup solution to move files away from the active drive to protect them?

Bought a new Windows 11 computer. What sort of problems may I have transferring my data from Windows 7 Vista to windows 11. Any suggestions or instruction will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for your help..
