No option to pin extension to toolbar

I am having trouble pinning any Extensions to my toolbar. When i click on the Extensions icon (puzzle piece), the Extensions menu immediately pops up. My extension (Bitwarden) is set to "Enabled". When I click on the three horizontal dots, however, the only options are 1) Remove, 2) Report, or 3) Manage. There's no option given to pin the extension.

Because of that, the extension basically never opens, and I am unable to use it. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance.

I am running Firefox 129.0.2 (64-bit) in Windows 11 on a Surface tablet. FWIW, the extension is running fine in Chrome.

I've been trying to watch live sports events on SECN+ through my Hulu subscription, but I'm encountering an error message stating, "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported." I discovered that Firefox is blocking the stream, while it works perfectly on Chrome. With the college football season and other sports events approaching, I’m concerned that if this issue persists, I may have to stop using Firefox, which I've relied on for over two decades. Please help me fix this issue at your earliest convenience. Thanks.

Recently a pop-up asks me to enter a password to receive/send messages in my Thunderbird emails. Each time I enter the password, the pop-up message comes back w/in seconds asking me to retry or enter new password or cancel. It seems there is difficulty logging in as imap-mail.outlook.com has failed to connect. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can correct this issue? In simple terms please with step-by-step directions. Thank you kindly!!!

To start, I do receive most of my emails intact. However, there are the occasional email only partially appears. I see enough of it to know who it is from. As an example, I get a bill from xfinity and only what appears to be the graphic part shows up, but, the details of the body of the email do not appear. So I don't know what they want to tell me. All this is in regular Thunderbird. That being said, when I open Thunderbird in troubleshooting mode the full email is then visible. I have tried the reset everything and nothing seems to work. I have taken to only opening Thunderbird in troubleshooting mode as then I am assured of seeing the full emails, text and graphics. Maybe you can help me adjust something to fix this problem. Oh, I am using windows 10 on a pc. Thanks, Dic Bason

Yesterday Thunderbird worked. Today every time I download a message I have time for a coffee and watch the blue circle of death. The message does come up after a while but the program is so slow and unstable that it's not really usable. This issue seems to come and go over the last few weeks?

So - the "development" staff have taken away the ability to look back at previous events, have taken away the ability to export calendars as ics files, and have locked our data into incomprehensible and undocumented sqlite files. And they very neatly and conveniently leave all the "support" to volunteers, who have suggestions as to what *might* help. Such garbage I've never seen before in my life.

Similar to Ludas question of 11/11/23: There was an update about 10 days ago, after which the Quick Filter started working terribly slowly: 1. Even before I have written the entire keyword (including email address), Thunderbird starts "thinking" and crashes (Not Responding). 2. After some time, about 1+ minute, results appear. 3. I went through Safe Mode on Windows and Troubleshoot Mode on Thunderbird - no change.

This account has ~52k letters, IMAP. For accounts with a small number of letters, there is no such delay.

Hi to all, after the latest update to 128.1.1esr (64-bit) the quick filter is very very slow and hangs the PC (WIN 11, 16 GB RAM and SSD) for 10-15 seconds. Thunderbird no longer responds and this happens all the time, also with different machines. The version before the update was just fine. Anyone with the same issue? Hello, PG&E just updated their webpage and it doesn't allow me to sign in. It informs me that Fire Fox isn't a compatible browser, all other websites are fine. It suggests Chrome as the preferred browser. We pay our utilities through their site and we enjoy Fire Fox.Can anyone help resolve this issue? Thanks

Yesterday, after downloading my emails from the weekend and deleting all of the junk mail Thunderbird suggested I compact my Inbox. I went and emptied my trash folder and then compacted my inbox. After the compacting was complete I could not get any of my emails to load in the preview window or in a new window. I then went to properties and tried the "repair". After that I lost all of my emails back to 5-24-21. Is there anyway to recover my lost emails?

I migrated to a new computer with Windows 11 and to the latest TB nebula. I copied the profile folders to the new system and it imported 20 years of email correctly. BUT every connections seems to hang and eventually times out. It almost looks like TB blocked by a firewall. Even checking for updates eventually times out. HOWEVER everything works fine in troubleshooting mode.

I have no add-ons installed. I have no VPNs or additional firewalls. Disabling Windows firewall entirely doesn't change anything. I tried "Make the changes and restart" with no success. I added thunderbird.exe to the exceptions to the windows firewall and even added a rule. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Is there any setting related to the connection that would be different in troubleshoot mode? Apparently nobody has ever experienced this problem, I feel like I'm going insane.

Hello. The latest update of FireFox 129.0.2 still has intermittent crashes. Sometimes I can't access my Google searches or links in emails don't work, then it works, then it starts to malfunction again. I have to restart my PC. I quit working for a company and my email account with them was closed. However, I like to keep the emails around just to have some history.So I am trying to disable the account without wiping it out of my thunderbird. Following advice from another question, I turned off checkboxes in my server settings (shown in image).However, regardless of this, whenever I open thunderbird and various other times besides, it pops up this demand for my password for that account (second image, note the banner at the top). How can I REALLY TRULY deactivate the account so that thunderbird will never again try to read anything from it?

Something has recently changed that makes this impossible.

When on a Google search result page, attempt to edit the URL only allow editing the search query. There is already a location for this, the query field.
