Hi,

I did an upgrade yesterday from 91 to 102. This morning, I get a few issues. Some email messages are blank. Some have a lot of header and content code displaying that is not related to the email I am opening but from a different email message. Some emails have no HTML content but others are fine.

On my cellular device, I am using the Bluemail app and all messages are there and are fine so it appears to be related to Thunderbird 102 upgrade.

I have used Thunderbird for years and this is an issue I have never seen? I am running an IMAP account.

I'm no longer seeing a statement of total space saved in the compaction status bar messaging. If this has been lost in recent upgrades, please bring it back!

Running 102.2.2 64 bit in WIN10 Pro

Every now and then I get alerted that I am running out of storage, when I check to see which applications are causing this, it is always Thunderbird which supposedly is registering 150+GB, which is crazy! I have to keep the application closed and only open when I need to check for emails. I only have two email accounts on it and they don't have much traffic so I am at a loss to know why/how this is happening or what I can do to prevent it.

All of the folders are not being compacted when you do File->compact folders on the account in version 102.0.1.

It worked fine in earlier versions.

Is there a new way to do it?

I am running Thunderbird 102.6.1 on Mac OS X Ventura.

The client runs perfectly but for one major issue that I have googles and tried to find an answer for.

I have a single Thunderbird profile which uses just over 360GB of space on my hard drive. When I check on Google Business and check my user, my entire user profile which includes ALL email and Documents is only 76GB.

I can find no reason why Thunderbird is using 360GB of space on the hard drive as it is essentially a mirror of my Google Business email account using imap.

I also have automatic compacting set in Thunderbird and that is what alerted me to the space issue as it now gives the error message that there is not enough space to compact mail folders.

Any help on this is appreciated!
