I'm trying to configure Firefox on Mac using our MDM. The goal is ultimately to control a bunch of settings, but I'm trying to start simple by just installing the 1Password extension.

When I deploy this .mobileconfig file, nothing seems to happen to Firefox. I made this by following the example at https://github.com/mozilla/policy-templates/blob/master/mac/org.mozilla.firefox.plist but it doesn't seem to work and I am not sure how to debug.

When printing history from my bank account there are transactions missing in between pages and extra bank pages. The bank of course says it's the browser. it does it on Edge as well. Please help

I have Thunderbird 115.15.0 on win 10 dell xps desktop and want to install Thunderbird on my new win 11 Dell xps. The microsoft store gave me ver 128.5.2. I read that if I use the same version I can transfer my profile from the old computer. How should I approach this? Should I figure out how to update the win 10 machine to 128.5.2 before transferring the profile?

when I start firefox, it tells me the old one is running and to close it. i hit the close button and keep getting the same message. I have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it and keep getting the same problem.

I am tired of this bullshit.

So i was using the beta branch of the firefox and beta version stopped working with a site for some time. so i tried to come back to the stable version.

After i do that and fix my config. In every couple of hours there would be a notification window pop up with sound saying this

"firefox this profile was last used with a newer version of this application. Please create a new profile"

So i did create a new profile BUT i copy pasted my own configuration.UI stuff from my old settings from "About:config"

This notification STILL comes up FFS what do i need to do then?

HOW COME MY UI CONFIGURATION TRIGGERS THE DAMN NOTIFICATION?

I will not re-do my fckng UI configuration by hand.

This REALLY shouldn't be this hard. Created a TB profile backup (see subject) from my LAPTOP. Copied it to c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\thunderbird\profiles on DESKTOP. Trying to open TB, I get error: Your Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible

Must be something I'm doing wrong. Been on the interweb for 2 hours trying to get this accomplished. Tried everything I could find. Unsuccessful. Can someone help?

As an aside, c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\thunderbird entry is MISSING from my laptop. Can't find the profile directory. TB opens fine on the laptop, so profiles directory is available to TB, but NOT to me. Where would the profile directory be stored on the LAPTOP?

With the new update came profiles, which is pretty useless for me. However, it bugs me that the firefox icon on the taskbar now has the profiles' star on it. Is there a way to remove this?

We've used Quikbooks for 10 years + on our desktop. After learning the Desktop QB is no longer supported, we attempted to purchase - access, QB online. This required us to return the desktop version, be credited the purchase amount, as we were prohibited use until this Process completed. Now complete! As Techsoup processes have changed, all the back-forth, just not sure. Prior to QB Icloud purchase- need to confirm we didn't already make purchase & guidance re How to access- use online QB version. Hello sir/ ma, please help me resolve this issue of unable to reach a particular site called " nimc selfservice modification site" this i have been having access to before.

I have an account with Chewy. When I try to access the link to "My Pet" I receive this message:

400 Bad request Your browser sent an invalid request.

I don't understand why or how to correct it.

My account was probably hacked. I noticed this from an email I received from Mozilla. My account was logged in from Africa, which i noticed from the timezone because the email gives literally no detail. I logged into my account to kick them out but i found out i couldnt because the button didnt work. All the other kick buttons worked except the hackers. Mozilla has done nothing other than to email me.

Good morning, after today's FF update - right click dropdown menus are terrible! Nothing works for me... Opening new windows, new tabs, adding to bookmarks, copying, pasting, etc... How can I turn it off because I can't use it. I need to have a menu like in version 133.0.3. If I can't change it, I will have to change the browser because I can't use it! Suddenly I cannot access one of my email providers [tutanota.com] because, so its error message says, javascript is not enabled my browser [Firefox is my default browser]. BUT javascript is enabled. [I just checked through taking the steps 1) typing "about:config" in Firefox; 2) clicking "accept risk and proceed"; 3) typing "javaScript" in the select preferences name box; 4) looking at the javascript line for "true" or "false".] Javascript was "true". Help. Please advise.
