Youtube Videos stutter - not watchable. Basic functionality in Facebook is painful. It's like the 1990's all over. Can anyone help. Please don't suggest the absurd "Reset Firefox" function. I have stayed with 52 simply because the higher the version, the more freedom that is removed because of security while the real problem is that the developers do not know how to write code.

I've been with FF since pretty much the beginning, it's the only browser I recommend to friends, family or clients. Since 10e and the whole multiprocess roll out, I've "fixed" peoples slow and unresponsive FF experience by disabling this useless feature and H/W acceleration.
Now my mailbox is full of complaints about slow unresponsive browsing, plus it using more system resources leaving clients with less powerful machines with real problems.
C'mon Moz, we've been mates for decades, stood by you when everyone was looking at whatever MS was waiving at them, laughed at Google when they tried to play with the big boy, but now I'm feeling sheepish about my claims of Mozilla putting its users needs first, not forcing features on users, giving its users a choice enabling a freedom that you don't have with Edge or Chrome
Please give us back one of the remaining freedoms we have left, don't be MICROSOFT!

Ever since your last two upgrades to Firefox, I am unable to get to many of my regular sites that are quite legitimate such as PBS, and others. I get blocked from the page with the following message: "Firefox does not trust this site because it uses a certificate that is not valid for (name of site). The certificate is only valid for *.t.en25.com. Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN. The error messages also says that these errors have been reported to help Mozilla identify and block malicious sites." I need to know how to turn this off or at least please send a new update correcting this error. In the meantime I'll be using the Opera Browser which does not have these problems

I used to be able to have typed my favorite websites into the address bar and basically saved them there so I could just drop down and go to a specific site. Now that is gone and all these search results are there. I WANT MY FIREFOX BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS. I don't understand why your company thinks this is a good thing. If there is no way to change this problem them I am going to remove Firefox from my computer and go with a different web browser.

Upon upgrading Firefox to v67.0.1 (Arch Linux Package), I get borders around all web pages I open. This does not happen on the "Firefox Home" page. The border is purple because I am in "Private Browsing Mode". I don't know what's causing this, I've looked around a bit, but have neither found a solution nor a post describing a similar problem. This does not happen when using Firefox v66.0.5. Till now, I've stayed on v66.0.5.

Was using Lubuntu for years on old hardware, then OS got corrupted. Chgd Distro to "AntiX" which worked for a few weeks, then FF quit loading Tags (blue dot just goes back & forth but no load). Bought a new computer meantime but would like to keep old stuff running and most of all clean out the anti-captialist propaganda garbage than landed in my FF synch account, including loops. An add-in that kills loops and moves all bookmarks to the bookmarks bar would be helpful. Presumably it was 'AntiX' that put the propaganda in my FF bookmarks, but bookmarks, if a directed graph, seems susceptible to loops and should have defenses against loops so once garbage like Anti-X's gets in, it can be cleaned out. Cryptically, my FF account asked me today to verify my home country (!) -- which I did (USA). Help appreciated, but if too much trouble would like Synch account destroyed so I can start a new one with same email. Also years and years and years ago I had an early Synch account with the same email address, so if it's calusing trouble, it can all be wiped out. Having to write this from some other browser on a new computer. Thanks!

Initially is sorta worked, forcing me to click "always open in default" when I had already assigned a container, now all I can do is edit containers. No longer able to open windows in separate containers.

Your browser interface is WORSE than Microsux interslut Explorer. You REMOVE functionality with every evolution and make it SLOWER. Not everyone can afford to buy a new computer every year to keep up with the bloatware you put out. Give me a way to change icons! I've known how to change the main icon. There is no login to the website itself, but you can comment on the articles by signing in via several options- Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Facebook,.... etc. The site facilitates the sign in when you click "Post" or "Thump up, Thump down" by prompting to "sign in with.." and only shows the first 2 choices and a "show more" button, when you click "Show more", it is supposed to drop down the rest of the login choices, but it doesn't. In Firefox the whole applet just freezes. I tried all trouble shooting options, including complete uninstall and reinstall, safe mode, disabling firewall, and every Firefox t/s option I came across , but the issue persists. BTW, it works fine in Opera, Edge, and IE11.
I've been having this issue since the forced update to Quantum- The worst upgrade I've ever seen. I'm sure Mozilla people thinks it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Well, you're wrong.

officials confiscated my fast PC leaving me with a old system with following specs:
Intel Core i3-3220 (2 cores with 3,3 Ghz), Windows 10 latest version x64, 4 GB RAM, relativ new Samsung SSD, NVIDIA GT 1030 with drivers not updated in a while.
I have bad memory but I think I have this PC about 4 months and this Firefox problem since 2 months, could be totally different because I have really bad memory.
I thought it might be a extension or a setting so I started with a new profile, unfortunatelly it didn't help.
I think tab switching very often is over 3 seconds, doesn't matter much if there 5 or 15 tabs open, I use Firefox since 2002, recommended it to many people and never had such a big problem like this before.

I sussed the 'why three' before I read the tech answer. usage is many multiples of EXPLORER.
perhaps Firefox should be it's -own- opsys....I bet it'd run a heckuva lot faster than Win7 (anyone have suggestions on paring 7 down to something much slimmer?)
problems occur when FF appears to let tabs run? doing whoknowswhat, which bumps physical ram usage up; once it hits 80% (I have 3GB on my Lenovo ThinkPad) it ceases responding. Paging issues? READY BOOST...are you kidding? Not helpful. Doing a 'normal restart' clears the (what?) for each process, taking RAM down to the original, sane, percentage. What on earth's going ON in them there processes?
Methinks a return to pre- Multi-process FF might be a grrrREAT idea. Filehippo prolly has previous versions.
