I have started to get very frequent tab crashes (all tabs) with "Gah. Your tab just crashed." message. Closing Firefox and starting it again fixes it for a bit, but then it happens again. Firefox is automatically updated. I am not aware of any recent changes to my (quite old) Windows 10 laptop, no new app/program installations, etc.

Any suggestions?

I'm using Firefox 137.0.2 on a MacBook Pro (M4) macOS Sequoia 15.4.1 . I just installed Multi-Account Containers, and have a question that's not answered in any support material I can find.

Before I installed Multi-Account Containers, I had several Firefox windows open, each with many tabs. For each window, I used "Bookmark All Tabs" to save that windows set of bookmarks in a separate Bookmark folder, e.g. "Weather Obs&Forecasts", "Reading_news", "Music & Language", "Reading_miscellany".

Is there a way that I can open a new window and open all the websites in a bookmark folder at once in a single container? (I have in mind making use of Bookmarks > Reading_news > Open All in Tabs .) Because opening a new window, opening a new tab in a container, duplicating that tab 10 times, and then using Bookmarks > Reading_news to open each of the bookmarks in one of those new containerized tabs was a real drag.

Every day Firefox logs me out and I'm required to go thru the whole sign in process again. Have been using Firefox for many years and never had this issue until the past 3-4 months. In the past, each time I opened Firefox I was connected/signed in to my account and my commonly used websites recognized me. Recently has become a major hassle and strongly considering using another default browser that will not have these issues, but would prefer to continue with Firefox if it would consistently maintain my account staying sign in.

We've changed WiFi providers from Comcast to a fiberoptic system that gives us a 2.4 network and a 5G one. For both networks, Firefox will allow some websites to load, some of the time, but not all of the time and usually it won't bother with images. For other websites, the connection just times out completely. If I switch back to the older Comcast networks, the Internet works without issue, but those networks won't be available for much longer. Firefox on my phone is doing fine, but it's like this when I try my old laptop, too.

I have gone through this article. Made sure Firefox can get through the firewall. Poked at the proxy server settings; nothing changes whether it's off, auto-detect, or using system proxy settings. Disabled IPv6. Disabled DNS Prefetching. Cleared my cookies and history. Checked for malware. Gone into Troubleshoot mode to see if it's an extension. Nothing helps!

After updating firefox from 128.8.0 to 128.9.0, no embedded videos will play (youtube, instagram, plex, etc...)

The only way to get them to play is to run the browser in troubleshoot mode. Even a fresh browser profile doesn't work. Disabling hardware acceleration also does not work. Tried firefox 137.0.2 and that also does not work. Downgraded back to 128.8.0 and videos play flawlessly again.

I'm running firefox on gentoo linux on a thinkpad x13s (arm64) which uses Qualcomm Adreno 690 graphics.

Anything I should try would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Trying to print UPS labels and I get the error message: Unable to connect

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 127.0.0.1:4349.

I associated all Win 11 extensions to Thunderbird Daily (139.0a1 (2025-04-27) (64-bit)) on Win11 Pro . Then I opened a link in email which connects to a website , that downloads the .ics file in FireFox Desktop which I open and that switches back to Thund. Daily to install the Calendar event but it stalls on Step 3 of 3 at 0%. Yet it may show up in the calendar after clicking the Refresh icon. Then visa versa sometimes it confirms the entry 100% and after a refresh icon it does not show it up as a duplicate entry. ( Which would be a nice to have)

Since I had 2 such emails and links to different .ics events, I tried various sequences to cause failure or success., with inconsistent results.

Install with "Daily" open or closed. Install same .ics file from downloads in sequence. Install alternate .ics file from Downloads.

I have been able to get both .ics files installed in the same main calendar but I am trying to find the pattern when it consistently works or fails. (without much success)

If I open #1 .ics file , the Import 3 steps succeeds and is finished but does not add a duplicate entry ( good) When I then open #2 .ics file with the event already stored in the calendar, now I get an error message

Status Code: 2,147,500,037, null

Server Replied with 409 If you're seeing this message after snoozing or dismissing a reminder and this is for a calendar you do not want to add or edit events for, you can mark this calendar as read-only to avoid such experience in future. To do so, get to the calendar properties by right-clicking on this calendar in the list in the calendar or task view.

It seems when I chose alternate .ics file imports it fails on#2 . But there were times when I could import from the file menu and get duplicate entries on both .ics files.

My Calendar is NOT set for Read only or Client side control as I also use iOS mobile Thunderbird and iCal.

I've used Google Maps in Firefox for years on a Surface PC. Over the past couple of weeks, I've found that Google Maps will select a route or routes, but they don't show up (highlighted in blue) on the page. What's happened? Is there a fix...?

I find it extremely annoying that on the Desktop all URLs I open are on the same tab unless I request otherwise but on Android all URLs I open from Home open in a new tab which can result in a huge number of tabs being open. When are the developers going to provide an option to open new URLs on the same Tab unless I request otherwise. On a device like a phone with limited memory this makes no sense, my wife often ends up with so many tabs open her phone crashes. I know there is a setting to close on exit but on Android that only works if you select exit which my wife often forgets so she ends up with 30 open tabs!

A facility to circumvent this is long overdue.

I have deleted the two accounts and added them back, restarted thunderbird but still be the same message. I'm sure this has happened since i updated the thunderbird version

The picture in picture option just stopped working one day. I checked absolutely everything and nothing is out of place. When I leave the browser with a video on it just starts as it would if the PiP worked but then it abruptly ends and when you come back into the page the video is off and it's usually back to home page on YouTube. Like I didn't put a video on in the first place.

I'm running Firefox 137.02 on Mac desktop - on multiple websites I can't open drop-down menus and select a choice, most troublesome is not being able to log-out because of this - I have seen previous question but they are all years old. I have tried closing Firefox and restarting as well as restarting my Mac.

Hi,

I'm on a fresh Windows and the CPU usage is waaaaay too big. When TB is out of focus, it uses about 10% of my CPU. This can go up to 15% when the window is active. It's not doing anything, not downloading or compacting or anything.
