I have installed Thunderbird version 128.1.1 esr (64 bit). The download button as not appearing. I removed the application & reinstalled. Still the download button is not appearing. Kindly help . I wish to have the button which I am used to. The screen shot is attached.

Hi. My windows 10 PC failed to boot a few days ago and after a long period of trying to salvage it, I wound up having to reset the Windows OS on it (Go figure) and that of course resulted in the loss of all of my 3rd party software and applications.

I have since restored the PC and and the My Thunderbird email software. I did have a backup of my profile of sorts from a few months ago when I was forced to migrate email ISP companies from Cox Communications to Yahoo when Cox left the email industry last spring. I say 'of sorts' because I only kept the file structure from the actual profile down vice from Thunderbird down. And even if I had done that, it wouldn't work well since I copied out the profile before the switch to Yahoo, so the email accounts have the old Cox server info not the current Yahoo ones.

I have come to terms with the email loss and I did take the opportunity to switch from POP3 to IMAP something I have been meaning to do for a while now. And I was able to copy over the Local Folders , so it's not all gloom and doom. But what I really need to get is the address book. I have tired to import it using the "import from another Thunderbird Installation" but that ended with an error condition. Is it possible to copy the address book from one profile to another?

Oh and one last thing, Thank you for the ISP configuration data base that T'bird used to auto-configure the IMAP server setups. It made life much easier.

Hello All I took my box to best buy because it was not working properly. They replaced the drive now I have no access to the passwords saved in firefox. Is there any way to get them back ? I have the old drive ! Any help greatly appreciated Gary

I am trying to setup proxy server for Firefox 106.0 on my Windows 11 Laptop. I have Windows 11 setup to provide system proxy settings to a local intranet squid proxy server at port 3128 with a configuration file. With this setup both google chrome and Microsoft Edge find the proxy and correctly utilize it. when I use Firefox and watch the squid logs the proxy is bypassed when settings are set for "use system proxy settings, no proxy, automatic proxy configuration url" If i set to manual proxy configuration it works.

I've been having trouble accessing my website, https://www.primepropertyturkey.com/ through Firefox for Android. The site loads fine on other browsers and devices, but on Firefox for Android, it either doesn't load at all or displays an error message. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and what might be causing it? Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated!

My router address with extensions is xx.xx.xx.xx/#/login. My previous router was xx.xx.xx.xx/cgi-bin/MANGA/index.cgi. When I type the IP address without anything after it, the URL entry changes from the new address to the old one every couple of seconds. I can't log into the router because it keeps changing. I disabled URL autocomplete, but it doesn't change it. Whenever I enter the address, it still completes with first the correct and then the incorrect URL.

How do I stop this? Thanks in advance.

from membership in several mailing lists, I receive eMails in duplicate (where "duplicate" means identical in sender, date/time, subject and contents) in my inbox.

Is there any way to select (and delete) such duplicates?

Hi! Using about:config and adding a couple of lines of codes to userchrome css and usercontent css I managed to remove the calendarbutton, the tasks button aswell as the chat button from the spaces toolbar on the left. I really want to to the same with the hide toolbar for tabs menu button furthest down on the page, how do I do that? Another thing I really also would like to do is stop the contacts button from opening a new page, instead I think it should just switch from the email page to the contact one, not open a new. Is there any way of doing this?

Guys... while looking for a way to measure the performance of our site, we came across the Core Web Vitals (CWV) some time ago. These are Google KPIs for measuring the user experience on a page (https://web.dev/vitals/#core-web-vitals). Unfortunately, some of the KPIs (like the Largest Contentful Paint or Cumulative Layout Shift) are currently only accessible using Chrome and it's preformance API. That's a pity, because there are also many people using Firefox who visit our site... and it would be interesting to have such KPIs as well.

In an article by Cloudflare (https://developers.cloudflare.com/analytics/web-analytics/understanding-web-analytics/core-web-vitals/) we recently learned that Firefox is also planning to expose the metrics used in the CWV... only the "coming soon" from the article is a bit vague. That's why I'm contacting you to get some more information on that topic. Do you perhaps know whether the topic is planned and will be tackled this year?

Can you please tell me how to get my extensions to appear on the toolbar? As you can see from the image (titled "forFirefox03"), only one is shown.

The images (titled "forFirefox01" and "forFirefox02") show all the extensions that I would like to have on the toolbar.

I've included the "About Firefox" (titled "forFirefox04") to show you which browser version I have.

I don't know if I need to show you the title names, but I'm used to Microsoft Answers, where I can put the images between the text, and here, I can't, so I'm assuming I have to show you them as names and images.

Hi there! My linux crashed and I only have an access to the terminal now. I'm trying to save login information and bookmarks that were saved in the browser. I didn't use an account. So I'm trying to find a location in the linux system where it was saved. I used 'find' command with key words 'mozilla' and 'firefox' to find possible locations but I'm not sure that I covered everything. Maybe someone here knows exactly where I should look. Hi Mozilla, I subscribe to the videopass on motogp.com. I recently went on to renew my subscription but couldn't proceed because of the following message. "Sorry, we are unable to proceed with your purchase as we have detected that the billing address does not match your location" My profile location is "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland", but my billing location is "United Kingdom". They are apparently two different locations according to the website. I must add, these locations are from a dropdown menu so I cannot change them. I emailed motogp and their tech people reckon either my browser (Firefox) or my internet provider (Sky) could be having a conflict with the payment platform. What do you think? Personally, I think It's the website's problem but any advice would be helpful. This is the first time I have tried to renew, usually I just let it auto-renew. Regards,

Since the recent update that that show full address from the "from" column, and yes I know i turn that behavior off. I am wonder if there is way to get add to contact button to let me pick which list? i have personal and collected. and anything I add via that button next to address in email goes direct to the personal. I wont want to go to personal address I want to send to collected

Listed down the LHS of Thunderbird I can see the various email accounts I've created. But one of them was created very recently for the purpose of testing a problem here (so I don't need that account any more). Is there a way to remove an account entirely?

If there is, I suppose it'd be made deliberately difficult but I can't see any delete option at all. I can delete individual emails for course but can I remove an entire account entry?

Hello. Thuderbird has been acting strangely for a few days, lots of Not Responding messages and then it sorts itself out. But now, when I open an ordinary e-mail, it opens up in a Send window! With the message which you will find in the attached Image. My version = 128.1.1 esr (64 bit) Lenovo Laptop Windows 10 Grateful for any help folks.
