My user experience on Firefox is being severely impacted and is making me angry. I watch the updates calendar they are once a month. So why can i not go a whole week it seems with a necessary Firefox update to my browser that impacts the performance of websites. I like to have multiple tabs open over a week or more. I don't want to close and reopen my tabs every time I want to use my computer. SO WHY are there SO many updates. It's seriously making me want to uninstall your browser and I have been using Firefox on multiple devices for years. More than 20 years now. It's seriously ridiculous to have a major update every week or even every other week where I have to shut down and save my work on ALL of my tabs just to update Firefox. I have never remember history and I am going to uninstall and reinstall from even greater security because I have serious concerns about the amount of data that big tech companies share with 3rd Parties and the government. I am an honest American citizen and I HATE being surveilled and having my private life sold to the highest bidder. But even though. the safety of your browser is a positive feature it becomes very difficult to WANT to use Firefox when my workflow is CONSTANTLY interrupted.

Seriously, You JUST updated on the 23rd/24th and now just two weeks later there's already ANOTHER update. And who even knows when that one dropped. I only checked it because sites were acting up. And EVERY TIME a site acts up it's because of an update. You have interfered with my user experience with Youtube, and Multiple Streaming Services, and Multiple Chat bots. It's thoroughly dis-satisfactory and disruptive, and ANNOYING. I want a tool that protects me while I am on the web. I do NOT want a tool that ruins my internet experience every week.

Hi there. I'm looking for a shortcut that takes me from the folderlist pane to the message pane and the first new message, when I'm on the inbox folder. The tab is not good. It moves between to many fields/options.

Microsoft and Google are part of Anthropic's Project Glasswing but Mozilla is not. I am concerned about Firefox security if Mozilla in not being included. What is your plan to participate? Do I need to switch browsers in the meantime? Please advise. Thanks.

Hi folks, I restarted Firefox today on my Macbook and now the Restore Previous Session option is no longer working. I've tried the Sessionstore fix described here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-restore-browsing-session-backup but it is not doing the trick. I've used it multiple times in the past and it has always worked up until now.

I've since opened a couple of new tabs and then shut Firefox down to see if the Restore Previous Session will bring those particular tabs back. However the Restore previous session remains greyed out. I suspect it may be to do with the latest update to 149.0.2. I downloaded and installed that two days ago, but only restarted this morning so I think the update would have been done then. Are there known issues with this update, and is a fix coming? On my other machines I have Firefox with Perplexity as my Chatbot in the sidebar. Why is it no longer listed? (Anthropic, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Mistral only).

Can you help me with as I have a subscription with them and don't want to use their browser Comet as an alternative or simply their browser interface if possible.

I wanted to try the new split screen feature. The guide says you need the latest version 149. When I check 'About Firefox' it says I have version 140.9 but it also says 'Firefox up-to-date'. Could you advise how I can update to latest version 149 please?

Mozilla has disabled the 1Password extension. I've used this version of 1Password extension for years without issue so do not share Mozilla concerns. How do I override the disabling to continue using 1Password as the risk is acceptable to me? It is more important to me to be able to use 1Passsword than Mozilla, so I'll switch to another browser if Mozilla won't let me make my own risk determination.

This is the message I get when trying to login to my Costco account: Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information).

Running on a Macbook with Tahoe OS. Certain websites will not display my responses to a checkmark box. Certain websites will not permit changing a checkbox default setting. Specific example: https://cards.barclaycardus.com/ has a checkbox with remember user name defaulted to a check. Attempts to click to remove the check do not work. Also, on certain websites when entering login information that is incorrect, the message indicating to correct the item(s) in red or highlighted does not display the incorrect items in a highlighted condition. In fact at the bottom of this page, the response box labeled Email me when someone answers the thread does not display a response when I click on it, even though the "response" is accepted.

Thunderbird (actual version) is demanding constantly for caldav- and carddav authentications although the two mail accounts are deleted in Thunderbird. How can I get rid of these annoying messages?

As you can see always ask where to save is selected but whenever I download a PDF file it doesn't ask me and it just saves to downloads. How can I fix that?
