When I try to log into Tangerine bank I get the error. "We're sorry for the inconvenience. This function is currently unavailable. Please try again later."

This issue started Oct-13-2025 and it appears to work when using Firefox ESR 146.01 but not the regular Firefox 146.01 versions. Tangerine is not giving me information on the error and I was wondering if there is a difference between the ESR and regular version that might clear up this issue?

I have vertical tabs enabled and the "expand when hovering mouse" option is activated (see screenshot). However, the latter functionality tends to glitch at some point in basically every session. I can't tell if a specific action triggers it, so far it seems pretty random. The glitch is that either the tabs are expanded and won't collapse, or the opposite: they're collapsed and refuse to expand when I point at them. Is this feature maybe still experimental? or something? I'm running Firefox 149.0b5 DEveloper Edition on Garuda Linux (Arch based).

Accessing my yahoo email with Thunderbird have worked fine for several months. Now I cannot log in. Yahoo mail is not accessible from the web either. But the web login works fine from Windows. I tried to change authentication method from OAuth2 to password but that didn't help. When I start Thunderbird there is either a dialogue which requires password or a window (see added picture) with a long string at the top of the window. That string cannot be edited. The rest of the window is empty.

Back again with another question related to flightrising

there are familiars displayed next to the dragons, some of them are supposed to change their pose automatically, but for me they only change when I click on the familiar it works on other browsers, and on firefox for windows, so I guess it's something in about:config, but I have no idea what I'm doing, so I'm hoping someone here can help me figure this out, because I'm not about to mess around randomly

For some reason, 3 of 4 accounts I use no longer open on the accounts list. I cannot expand them, I cannot "Get Messages" for them, there's no reaction whatsoever, as in no message in status bar (which works fine, as confirmed with that 1/4 account that still works).

I checked for subscribed folders and all of them are. I even was able to add a new folder, which does get added via IMAP. This is, therefore, not a connectivity issue.

I also checked the Developer Console and Activity Tasks, absolutely nothing shows there.

I removed global-messages-db.sqlite, folderTree.sjon, the .msf files. I checked in Troubleshoot mode. Nothing helps.

This looks like some nasty bug and I am happy to help debugging this further, if you point me in the right direction.

I deleted a profile not knowing it would delete everything I had. How can I undo it? I didn't want Firefox Profiles, it was forced. I deleted it, and everything just got deleted. Can someone please help revert this? Thanks.

There appears to be more details in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2014390 located at the bottom. When I try to view the details it asks me to log in. I do not see any reason I should have to log in to view the issue as I only intend to view the bug. Why does it require a login ?

Using firefox 148, when I select the "CIRA Canadian shield" DNS over HTTPS option it does not work. If I select the other 2 options Cloudflare or NextDNS those options work.

What is the problem with DOH for CIRA option ?

Firefox Picture-in-Picture (PiP) Issue

• Problem: PiP window loses "Always on Top" focus or vanishes when switching workspaces/tasks.

I have been trying to investigate why, in my Yahoo email logs I am getting logins from Virtual Gecko.

Until I started investigating this I had never heard of Virtual Gecko. I certainly have never installed it. The logins are coming from the same device as my web browser login to Yahoo, so it is something on my device, at least it is according to their logs.

The only software on my machine that logs into Yahoo is Thunderbird. And their logs have never shown those logins; but I do get emails about them. Is there any chance Yahoo! is mistaking Thunderbird for Virtual Gecko?

I tried closing Thunderbird and signing out the Virtual Gecko the connection from within Yahoo! and then signing into Thunderbird. That tests seems to indicate be causing an event in the currently logged in devices on Yahoo. At least not immediately.

Not that appears to be your problem but do you have any clues as to what is going on?

I will raise this with Yahoo! and if it follows my previous experience of their support, they will charge me for the privilege of not solving my problem.

Since updating Firefox from a previous version, the browser no longer displays any Unicode emoji characters. Where an emoji would normally be rendered (👁️), the browser instead displays empty space. Websites such as twitter and discord, which use their own artwork for emoji, are unaffected. This has negatively affected my browsing experience.

For illustrative purposes, I will add a series of emoji and include a screenshot of how they are displayed: (😀🙁😡💀). Other characters still display correctly: (β❖♞䷲⎈𐘢𓀺இ). My computer otherwise displays emoji correctly. The issue persists after disabling extensions, and has persisted between computer restarts.

I'm running Linux (NixOS) and Firefox version 148. I've tested on Chrome based browsers and they work fine. Tested on Firefox forks and they also don't display correctly. This is new since less than a week ago.

The Facebook page on Firefox has the "fly-outs' overlapping the base page instead of the 'fly-out" appearing in a separate tab. When I use Chrome, which I do not want to, the "Fly-out" pops up correctly. I do not want to switch to Chrome ... How can this be fixed? Thank you!

certificate for imap <edited>@peternedsmith.co.uk is not valid, someone could be trying to impersonate the server and you should not continue, on clicking the more info, on the panel that comes up, if I click on get certificate, the selections below get greyed out and nothing happens, I have viewed the certificate, and it appears to be from the US, I have taken a screenshot of the top part of it, which is below. I started using Claude in the side panel instead of a dedicated tab, but there is something noise about it: every time I click to open the side panel the chat starts from scratch. Getting a clean slate is nice, but it takes too much time loading. So I would like to not unload the content of the panel when I close it, just hide it, so when I click to open is already loaded. There is a way to do that?

Would it be possible to extend the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" to not delete cookies from any domain stored in a bookmark? (I don't want to delete those as I'll get logged out/lose my preferences etc)
