When searching on webpages, the image will look blank with a red box outline, or will have the image and the box outline. This happens whether or not the image is an interactive element. Even after refreshing the page the problem persists. In private or regular windows it happens. After tapping on the red box, the image will load, and usually stays loaded if I leave the page and then come back.

I am writing an email with two photo attachments. Preview will not work (open) for me to double check the correct file is being sent. It will, however, open a file with only text.

Not sure I selected the proper category, but I've been coding websites since for longer than I like to admit.. (About 1998 memory serves me right..).. Anyhow, at this point I maintain 3 websites.. Here's one of them: https://www.pbl-sn3.com As you will see there are many pages involved.. I used to able to right click on a photo or graphic and Firefox would tell me what it was, its filename, and even it's size.. But no more.. This was a really handy feature that kept me a Firefox user ever since I discovered Firefox..

Now, instead of right clicking on it (so I can find it easily on my PC using a great little program called "Everything" (see https://www.voidtools.com/ which is amazing in its own right..), I'm stuck viewing the Page Source, finding the file in all the jumble of code, etc. etc. etc... (Yeah, I can right click on the image and open it in a new tab, but it tells me nothing about its SIZE either.. Dang!

So am I the only guy that's ever complained about this? (I recently downloaded Google Chrome which appears to be a less-than-perfect knockoff of Firefox and also lacks this "feature".. But my bank likes it whereas they would no longer allow me to do online banking with Firefox.. A pesky but unrelated issue here, I know..)

Anyhow, if there's a quick fix for my problem, I sure would appreciate a how-to implement it! Thanks for "listening"! - Ol' Bill in California

For many years, I've used a utility called DropZone in my menubar, which (among other things) allows documents to be automatically sorted into user-created locations (e.g., folders in the Finder).

Last night, suddenly, each time I drag a photo from Firefox to DropZone, a large window called "Action Console" opens, displaying a bunch of text. Here's a typical message that's displayed:

Ironically, although the last line says "Task completed," the task I was attempting to perform (moving a photo into a given folder) is in fact NOT comleted at all.

Further observations:

This behavior is not displayed in Safari. In Safari, images continue to be moved to the desired folder, as intended.

I googled "action console keeps opening in Firefox," and I performed 4 troubleshooting steps that google AI suggested (including launching Firefox into troubleshooting mode). Unfortunately, in troubleshooting mode, the behavior persists, which suggests that this has nothing to do with any add-ons.

I also created a new, test profile—but even in the test profile, the behavior persists.

So, I'm stumped. After years of using Firefox, this behavior has appeared out of nowhere—and I cannot figure out why, nor how to fix it.

Any further suggestions?

I am using Firefox for Android for daily web browsing. From last 2 days when i browse any website or blog , i am unable to view images. Only text appearing but no image upload. I check my internet connection as well but still facing same issue. I tried to open PSA website for Online appointment and National ID card tracking but cannot view any image or check button in it.

Since one of your updates, all of my photo files now have your logo on them and I can see any of the thousands of photos I have What the hell did you put in your update? JUST STOP SENDING UPDATES EVERY DAMN TIME I TURN AROUND.

when i search anything, the images simply don’t appear, i can’t even see the image i provided, i’m unsure of what i had done to cause this. i do believe it is a user caused issue. i don’t believe it’s something wrong with my phone/wifi, as every other image loads, but i believe i accidentally did something to cause this.

Hello It is impossible to display the icons of certain applications since I used Firefox. This problem does not exist with Chromium browsers (Chrome Brave...) Thank you for your help
