I'm a longtime Firefox user on Windows PCs and Android phones. I recently bought an iPhone as my main phone, and am running Firefox (22.0) for iOS on it. Generally works okay, but I have one issue that I've not been able to resolve, one that was easy to do under Windows and Android.
I want to use as my Home page an HTML file that I created. It's what I use on my PC and also on the previous Android phone. In Firefox on my computer under Settings / Home, the Custom URL to that file looks like this:
So the file is simply "homepage.htm" that's stored in a folder called "Misc". The link is similar under Android, in that I can simply type in the path if I want.
I have that HTML file stored on the new iPhone, but I don't know how to reference it with a similar "file://etc". Nor can I simply "share" it with Firefox, as Firefox isn't offered as one of the several Share options.
When I show the Info for the file, the location is in a folder I created called "On My iPhone > My Data". So, basically, how can I reference that for the Custom URL for Firefox's home page? Thanks for your help.
