I noticed recently that my 'Add Shortcut' button has disappeared. I've been through other articles and they were of no help. I have 4 rows selected for shortcuts so theres no reason for it to be gone.

i have a firefox account on my old windows 10 computer. Firefox is having trouble "finding that site" for some sites I've used for years. I've checked internet settings in Firefox, reset my WIFI router, etc. with no response for connectivity. But I really guess I don't know what or where to check... Thought it was a VPN setting, not fixed. What should I try to find and correct my problem?? Ray ([edited email from public forum])

Apparently downloads of the Firefox browser are tagged with something called dltoken so Mozilla can count unique installations. How do I verify the authenticity of the download since they don't match the untokened hash checksum?

I know downloads off the ftp site won't have the token, but I installed first and then remembered to check later.

Unfortunately, my Mozilla Firefox (ver. 144.0 (64-bit)) doesn't have extensions.screenshots.disabled. So what now?

Hi, I am writing from a fresh Nobara 42 install, using Gnome 48 and the default Wayland session. Firefox version is 144.0.2. I'm not sure this is the proper channel to report a bug, I expected a more standard form. Please redirect me if you know of a better place.

Essentially : click+drag using the tablet doesn't work, be it on web content or on the GUI. When I click+drag to move a tab, the rab is ripped off into a new window as soon as the drag event begins. This happens with both regular & vertical tabs. Simply clicking tabs -without moving the pen enough to trigger a drag event- activates them normally. Click+drag on a bookmark or history item does not work either. When doing so on a bookmark folder, it seems to be always registered as a click, and it consistently triggers the opening/closing of the folder, regardless of the distance traveled by the pointer between the press event and the release event.

Exception : click+drag to select text works fine. However, click+drag to move that text into the address bar to look it up does not work. The text stays selected, the pointer icon doesn't change to indicate that something is being dragged.

Note : I am using the terms "press event", "drag event" and "release event" liberally here. I don't actually know how this all works, it's magic to me. But I felt like this was the most straightforward way of communicating what's happening.

I have a mouse to the side, that I use only for this. But it would be nice to be rid of this necessity. Any help is welcome! Thank you.

I believe I had all this synced in Firefox Settings before I made the upgrade. Like all you fellow former users of Windows 10, I had to upgrade to Windows 11; and did so two days ago. Now, I found that I do not have under History any of the former sites I not only visited but also had tabs open. What can I do, if anything, to recover them? Under the Add-ons Manager, if this helps, I already had the app Tab Session Manager, but don't know how to use it. Thanks to all in advance who may have made this same upgrade. Many out there are still on Windows 10.

This falls under: Accesibility, or passswords, or privacy & security... Or, this fumbducker shosn't doe nit. Anyhow, if you've more smarts and knowledge than me, I need to solve the above mentioned problem. Many thanks.

On this page https://www.apc.org/en/project/member-engagement-and-travel-fund the first section of text is missed out from reader view - so that the text starts half way through the article. I understand the table will be ignored - and the internal table of contents links at the very top, but there is a paragraph in between those things that is being ignored entirely. The normal text parts should all be included for the article to make sense.

I have tried changing the markup so the paragraph was not inside the same div as the table or table of contents but this does not seem to make any difference.

Google chrome reader view handles the page fine.

Any tips no how to change markup to avoid this or is there a way to fix it?

i cant play sound from firefox ive tried restarting my computer, disabling my adblocker, everything i can think of its not my headphones, they work fine with files on my computer im having the same problem with davinci resolve too please someone help i dont know what to do anymore

Unable to log into SSA since the update (it seems however since you are changing this weekly or hourly it seems sometimes I do not know what the version was when I logged in last) I am at 144.0 and can log in without an issue using Chrome. How can this be fixed? From what I can tell it seems to not allow a return from server when you click on LOGIN on SSA <ssa.gov/myaccount/> I can get in with out a problem using Chrome. Please let me know what the fix is.

When creating a password on Linux Desktop version 144 it shows the password text instead of hiding or at least provding a option to hide when typing out the password.

Is there a specific name for the Firefox notification bar, other than that? NOT anything to do with popup blocking. The same bar that has the "mailto" handler pop up that appears beneath the address bar. All I can find is information related to website popup blocking which is obviously no help at all.

I am having an issue with my Bluetooth headphones (Sennheiser HD 450BT) in Firefox on Windows 11.

The headphones are properly connected to Windows and work correctly with other browsers (Edge, Chrome).

Windows shows the headphones as the default output device (stereo), and test sounds play through them.

However, in Firefox, the audio does not go through the headphones. Instead, it plays very loudly through the laptop speakers.

The problem started today; there were no issues for about a year.

I have tried reconnecting/reinstalling the headphones, but it did not help. Drivers are also up to date.

Could you please advise how to make Firefox correctly use my Bluetooth headphones as the audio output device?

Hi Team , I am using my firefox browser profile logged in with "[edited from public] @tothenew.com" . Today when i open browser and got to know my account has been logged out while trying to sign in again to my profile it required to get authentication code sent on mail id but i had lost that mail id . so could you please help me to gain acces to that profile i have bookmark some important document on this .

I was using my account for sync my bookmarks, but i hope that was saved in my phone. After check CCleaner deleted all from my laptop, i realize that was also deleted from my mobile. ¿How i can recover all my bookmarks that was sync in my account?

The newest update 144.0.1 now has numbers next to bookmark folders. I don't need nor want this info. How do I disable this setting?

I am trying to initiate a Mozilla scan on my iPhone, where Firefox is installed. iOS is 18.7.2.

I begin my login to my Mozilla account, and then in the next window, Firefox (correctly) calls for my 6 digit code from my Authenticator.

BUT, when I "leave" the Firefox page, to go fetch the code, Firefox keeps opening a new webpage, and I lose the page where I would enter the 6 digit code.

I had the WSJ.com as my homepage, and changed this back to the Firefox homepage. This did not solve the problem

I'm exhausted. I'm not a techie, but not a newbie either (after many years).
