I changed operating system from Win 10 to Linux. Can I import the file or files from my Firefox on Win 10 to my Firefox on Linux? If so, where can I find them on the windows drv and what is the file called? Thanks for your help Ray

I think that I have already set up my browser with Mozilla but you still ask me to do it????????? How do I know it is done and if it is not done then how do I do it???????????

I want to migrate everything from windows to linux, i've already synchronised browsers on both systems, but settings on linux didn't get overrided.

How can i make browser on linux exactly the same as on windows (including settingd)?

I have no idea why my browsing history, open tabs etc. didn't reopen after this restart. I previously had all the settings correct to reopen all windows after a restart, but now there's not even a history available.

Pandora tries to start, but it bounces from artist to artist without playing. Never had this happen before. Pandora suggests there is an overzealous ad blocker at work. Can you help?

I just installed the browser and enabled Russian localization. Then I opened a page in English. A notification appeared with a suggestion to translate the page into another language. In the translator options, there is an option to select the language from which the translation will be made. There is Russian language there, but I chose English, it’s logical. And then comes the choice of the language into which the translation will be carried out, but there is no Russian language there. Why? How can I translate the page into Russian?

I just installed Linux Mint. I am new to Linux. Firefox came with it. In the Firefox help/about, I see that updates have been disabled by your organization. I am just a single user. There should bot be any enterprise policy applicable. Why did I get this and how to get rid of it?

Hello, I am suffering from an odd issue when using twitch.tv. In short, when viewing peoples streams, my video feed will usually turn into colorful static (aka "clown vomit"). I suspect that the issue is coming from Firefox, but I can't be certain. I am using a newly-bought laptop and the issue could be caused by a large number of things, theoretically. Here is what I know:

• When viewing on twitch.tv with quality 360p or higher, the video feed will usually (95%) become colorful static within 1 minute or less. When this happens, the video feed does not ever recover until page is refreshed or quality is changed. (I know a bit about video encoding, so this seems extremely odd to me, if it were due to a networking thing that lost some packets, a full-image frame should come alone sooner or later and fix things, but that never seems to happen)
• The video feed is far less likely to become corrupted when viewing at 160p, but can still happen.
• The ads may become corrupted in the same way that the main video feed can.
• When the feed is corrupted, the rest of the Twitch interface (pause/play, volume, quality select) is extremely laggy.
• When the feed is corrupted, if I pause the stream, sometimes the paused corrupted image is not completely stationary! There will be flickering in small portions of the image, looking similar to texture fighting in 3d rendering, flickering between two equally-but-differently corrupted versions of the image
• The issue never appears when using Chrome to watch twitch.tv. This is what makes me think Firefox is the culprit, not Twitch or networking or graphics drivers.
• Disabling my browser addons does not help.
• Private browsing window does not help.
• Clearing my browser cache does not help.
• I have had the issue happen on Youtube exactly once in 2 weeks, not sure if that's related or not, I think it was a normal "lost some network traffic but fixed itself the next time a full frame was received" thing.
• Video live streams on Youtube don't get corrupted the way they do on Twitch.

Can someone please give me advice for how to fix this? Has anyone seen anything like this before? Is there a way for me to get deeper under the hood of either Twitch or Firefox and more closely debug the video stream when it fails?

Trying to sync to Firefox on my desktop and it's not giving me the sync and save data option on my phone. How do I sync the too? I want my passwords to update between both and it doesn't and it's been an ongoing issue.

please help me turn off the swipe to the side= delete gesture. fingers are not stable , so I keep deleting tabs I saved in a collection, with no way to retrieve it unless I go through my history very tediously.

this is an accessibility issue. otherwise collections are useless to someone little me.

I have updated to the latest Firefox version for the Android app, using Samsung Galaxy S20. When viewing YouTube in mobile view (desktop view works though) through the browser, the comment section seem to be invisible and not showing. I have tried fresh reinstalling, and toggled all the settings, but I can't seem to get it to work on Firefox. Other browsers like chrome works just fine. Is this a bug?

Firefox has my credit card information and it shows up in a window when I go to pay for something, but when I click on the credit card I want to pay with, the details appear on the form but get removed almost instantly.

I am in UK. It was working until recently.

None of the earlier answers have helped.
