I've been noticing that when I click History > Clear Recent history, after clicking and going back to History, it hasn't removed everything. I have Firefox on my Android phone which is set to clear history upon close. For for unknown reasons, its leaving sites from both desktop and phone apps after clearing.

I'm running Firefox v 115.9.1esr on my Mac.

Any ideas?

When the little yellow man is placed on to the map, and a direction arrow is clicked, the view just continues to spin round. Clicking on the 'X' in the top right hand corner terminates street view. This does not happen with other browsers.

My OS is Debian 12, Firefox is the latest version 115.9.1esr (64bit).

I did an Upgrade to a version of Firefox that would bypass those "Your Browser Is Not Supported" messages that apparently come from "Cloud-flare." I figured [naievely!] that my addons would "port" to the upgrade. They didn't. Is there any way [e.g., a putative backup file, perhaps] that would allow this?

Lest update to 15.9 all my extensions are now disabled. Missing Lastpass and Surfshark from my menu bar. Doesn't seem to be any way to Enable them from Extensions screen.

I reloaded Lastpass from their site and this is now working on my Menu bar.

Hello. I suspect there was a cyber attack on April 1 2024. All of a sudden,having problems crashing with more than 1 browser. My Brave browser would open,and then crash with multiple tabs that had been saved. My Mozilla history was cleared,and I want it back because I need to find all sites I have visited from time to time for logins etc,but they are now gone.I have tried importing all of my Brave history,login forms to Firefox,but not sure where to located them or where they would be stored.

I have never had to deal with this sort of thing before so i am saying that i may be somewhat noobish on this.I just want some expert instruction on what to do here,and how to do it.I,m not 100 percent sure if i can do it correctly on my own by googling this myself,then attempting it.Brave continues to open then crash right after,so I dont know whats going on there with the userdata folder in the appdata folders with regard to Brave. Everytime i try to install an older version of Brave,it says i already have a curent version of it,and i dont want to uninstall brave then reinstall it again,or not sure if i should do this. Facing a strange problem in firefox. I have saved user name, password for my site in firefox, when i have login again firefox is asking to fill from the saved one. If i choose that, user name alone filling leaving the password field empty (please refer the attached image) and also password field is in disabled state and not allowed to edit the password field.

And this is not happening regularly. Any idea how to solve this or is there any config for such behavior.

I am unable to Drag & Drop or Move SOME e-mails to Local Folders - I get a No Entry sign. If I restart Thunderbird in Safe Mode the offending e-mails do not appear in the Inbox.

Linux-ESR versions 115.8 and 115.9 are constantly crashing in my Acer CB514-2H chromebook. Previous versions of Linux-ESR have worked without any problems. It does work in "safe mode", but not in normal mode with all extensions and plugins disabled. Appears to be related to something that is also disabled in the "safe mode" besides extensions and plugins.

This computer is running a MediaTek Kompanio 828 processor, 8 GB RAM and 64 GB eMMC.

I appreciate any help and advice that you can give me. If I can provide any info, let me know.

I like to play games on Facebook. I have downloaded windows 10. I had windows 8.1 After I downloaded windows 10, when I try to play these games, the screen goes black, then a statement comes on that says WEBgl has been disabled. I have tried everything and I can't fix this. Do I need to uninstall Firefox and reinstall or can you please help me. I hope this is enough information. I have refreshed Firefox twice and that didn't help.

FF doesn't reliably open my last session. It used to but for nearly 18 months now it has become hit and miss. I have FF docked on my taskbar (Win 7 sp1) when I click it some times it opens all my tabs (I have it set to do that) but more frequently it doesn't and just opens one tab. Usually I catch it and in history select the tab showing many other tabs and I get it all back, but this doesn't always work like today, no option to do that because there's nothing there. When is it likely to be fixed, I've been complaining about this for months. I've even suggested FF collects a stack of last sessions (say 20) each time a session is closed and have a fixed entry for that in the menu, but nothing seems to change. I'm heartily sick of it, it's such a basic requirement of any browser and yet with FF it's just a pain in the neck.

I keep getting this error. I reinstalled mozila firefox esr, but the error seems to persist. What could I do to get rid of this error that constantly appears at a certain time interval?

When trying to download a college lecture, instead of downloading, the file opens and runs in a new tab. In General Settings "Save files to" is set to "Downloads" and "MP3 file (audio/mp3)" is set to Save File. This worked fine for several years until the last few months. It currently works correctly in my Chrome browser, but I prefer using Firefox.

PC/WIN7 - I access my bank and get a login screen from them... when I enter my name and password I get a "FILE NOT FOUND" ... but it accesses just fine on my android phone or on my other laptop running WIN10... maybe a problem in firefox site permissions ?? Used to work up until about 4 mos ago....
