Increasing "network.http.connection-timeout" setting in Firefox to a big number – say, '9000', does not change the time period after which "The connection has timed out" message appears (the default value is '90'). Changing it to '0' makes this message appear even faster than when using the default value.

Please let me how I can increase timeout to a big number.

Hello, I don't know what is going, but pages just can't opens. Mozila only working 2 minutes after rebooting PC, and after this don't work again. Internet connection is good. Thanks for help.

Have not received emails for two days now and have tried everything and nothing works.

As I indicated above when I click the thunderbird icon, the screen reads:

Login to Account ? Login to server imap.comcast.net with user name olinger123@comcast.net failed

 Retry    Enter new password _____   Cancel

I hit retry, entered new password and hit cancel. I can only briefly get into the inbox and this message comes up.

I need my incoming emails. What do I do? Will it correct itself. I have restarted the computer several times and still no new messages and message regarding login failed.

Firefox app on Android is using an insane amount of mobile data that I cannot account for. In the attached image, Firefox used 15GB in a 3 hour span, and I barely used the app during. The only tabs I had open were 5 news articles. I've had this unexplainable high data usage for the past few months. Other internet browsers I've used in the past only used ~3GB per month. This inexplicable data usage makes me very concerned about what Firefox is doing in the background.

I'm using Thunderbird 128.11.0esr (64-bit) on a Win 10 system, and my email host is DigitalSpace, a Verizon company.

As of this morning, TB no longer gives me a password dialog when I start the app. So, I forced that dialog by sending out a dummy email, and I enter my credentials when asked. Outgoing messages go out without incident.

But even though my password is accepted for SMTP use, the POP incoming function no longer responds to File/Get New Messages for . None of the selections will download any emails.

The banner at the very bottom of the Thunderbird window usually displays a "retrieving emails" message yesterday, as usual. But now this banner is completely blank, nothing happening.

DigitalSpace has given me what they say is the correct POP Server name, and they specify that I should use Port 110. I've attempted to reach the POP server by its name and by its IP4 address, but I see the same fail with both: No response.

Note 1: I'm deleting all cookies at every log-off. Is there any chance that this is affecting TB's performance?

Note 2: Non-Mozilla fix websites have suggested accessing the TB Profile folder, and deleting file global-messages-db.SQLITE . I tried that, but it didn't fix the problem.

When trying to connect to sites from Google search or directly eg for Booktopia. I get a message saying

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at www.googleadservices.com.

I am using the U.S. version downloaded from English US version https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/138.0/linux-x86_64/en-US/ and CIRA is the default DNS over HTTPS which is a Canadian provider. Why is it the default for a U.S. downloaded version of firefox ? When I tried to use the service it did not work and the documentation is outdated and does not direct the user to properly set up the CIRA version of DOH. Is ther an updated document ?

Firefox is making my browsing experience bad. Even normal searches are having connection error, for eg:- like searching meaning of a word, trying to explore something, etc. It always says connection error and says that connection is not safe. Well during writing my experience I again tried and this time it's okay, but I'm sure it'll happen again so please look up on this problem. Thank you.

I can open my page. I checked in console if there are any requests to other domains/ports - no. It makes single GET request to http://localhost:8090. What am I doing wrong?

My Firefox server keeps losing connection to the internet! It as been going in and out for short periods of time, but now it has been down for almost an hour! I’m going to switch to another browser if you don’t fix this!
