Email is not linking to server and not downloading emails. All coordinates are correct. When I try to connect it tells me that the account exists. Cannot send email because it is not linking to server. More trouble than it is worth.

After automatic updating to Thunderbird 140esr under MacOS 12.7.5 Thunderbird will not connect to provider. Same happens with installation of version 150. Same happens under Mac OS Tahoo. I can't make a new profile because of this. What can I do to solve the problem ?

Using Thunderbird forever, on my PC and also on my Android. On my PC sending messages stopped working "suddenly". (That means I did not change anything in Thunderbird. Windows related settings - who knows.)

I have checked the SMTP server settings again, but it didn't solve the problem. I have changed my password of my e-mail account to anew one, reinstalled Thunderbird and recreated my account, but without anything changing. Receiving works, sending does not. Tried to install Outlook (sorry, just temporarily, I hope :) ) and there everything works just fine.

Maybe some Windows Firewall setting? Didn't find anything that seems to prevent Thunderbird from sending thou. Do you have any idea?

I've used Thunderbird for a few years, worked great. No Thunderbird setup option has been changed for a few years. Last week, it failed, could not receive email. The host says they checked and found nothing wrong there. But now when requesting email, it says Connection To Server was Reset., and repeats that every few minutes (every new try I assume). I Sent email from me to myself, and web email there sees it is received up there, so STMP works, but not POP.

Host support said to remove passwords to reinitialize them. I did, but it does not ask for password and still repeats continual reset (does not mention password, and so no way to reset password now, seemingly does not get that far). They said to remove profile file popstate.dat (file only contains server connection and my email address) and I did, but no change. Still continual Connection to Sever was Reset, repeatedly, every try I reloaded Thunderbird, no help. I tried Thunderbird Troubleshooting, and saw no change but don't know what to do there. Host thinks all is correct there. Server connection is Inmotionhosting Secure303. FWIW, am using Microsoft Windows 11 virus security. Could it be a security certificate problem? It gives no clue.

I see many of same question about Connection Reset here, but no answers. Surely someone knows how to fix POP Connection to Server was Reset?

I use the Messaging Company for emails and Mozilla Thunderbird as the email client. For the last week or more, I receive a message "Unable to connect to imap.themessagingco.com.au Please try again later. If the problem persists, you may have exceeded the maximum number of connections.

Under the instruction of The Messaging Company, I have modified the advanced settings for the server. The Maximum number of server connections to the cache is now set to 1 rather than 5. I have also changed I also changed the Thunderbird's IMAP Timeout from 100 to 120

These two changes have reduced the number of error messages but I do still get them.

Can you help resolve this?

seit einiger Zeit habe ich Probleme das Firefox die Verbindung zum Internet verliert. Andere Browser wie zum Beispiel Google haben diese Probleme nicht. Ich habe Firefox neu installiert, den Cash geleert und auch schon mit dem Fehlerprogramm von euch laufen lassen, es wird nicht besser, vielleicht kennt ihr noch eine Lösung die mir helfen kann...

All of a sudden my comcast.net email is no longer accessible through Thunderbird,it claims I'm not using the correct password, even though none of the settings have changed. I can still access my email through webmail, using the same password. What's happened? and how can it be corrected thank you

This problem only occurs on my computer running Windows 11. There are no problems on my mobile phone.

I have two different email accounts in Thunderbird. One is a Gmail account one is from Comcast.net. When I start Thunderbird it checks Gmail fine, but then I get a little pop up in the lower left-hand corner it says Comcast has blacklisted my IP. After a few more seconds a dialogue box pops up asking for my password. When I type in my password I get the same crap over and over.

I know my IP is not blacklisted because I can log on to my Comcast account in a browser no problem same IP. What's going on, do you think I picked up some sort of malware? I've scanned I can't find anything.

Behavior: Out of the blue this morning, every website I try to visit in Firefox returns "Looks like there’s a problem with this site". Every other browser works fine.

Things I've tried, that haven't fixed it: - Ruled Out DNS: Sites like 1.1.1.1 and my home router's IP return the same issue in Firefox, but also resolve in any other browser. - Firefox Safe Mode: no fix - Deleted All Settings, Reinstalled Fresh: - Removed the Firefox App, deleted:

       - ~/Library/Application\ Support/Firefox
       - ~/Library/Caches/Mozilla
       - ~/Library/Caches/Firefox

...and then downloaded and installed 149.0 fresh. - Refreshed Firefox (via [link] - about:preferences (toggled between FALSE and TRUE, testing each time) via this YouTube video

- network.dns.disablePrefetchFromHTTPS
- network.dns.disable

....and in desperation, I checked my Mac for Malware (clean)

I'm at a complete loss: every other browser works, but Firefox is a 100% fail for all websites. Any thoughts?

My hotspot is constantly disconnected by Firefox. I have the latest browser. And if this cant be sorted Ill have to go back to google. Its a nighmare. Firefox keeps giving me a wired connection

I've been trying to connect for over an hour and I always get the answer; " Connection to the server impossible. The configuration, username or password are probably incorrect. My access provider is “Orange” and I made the mistake of accepting “Unlimited Emails”, I have 650,000… I work on a MacBook Pro Apple M1 Pro 26.3.1 (a) and the Mail app is very saturated and Tchat Gpt advised me to use your “Thunderbird” app I changed my Orange access password about 4 hours ago. Please guide me towards making your application work properly.
