Just updated Firefox to version 112.2 on my iPad which has iOS 15 Did the update via the apple App Store. Relaunched (restarted) Firefox and ALL tabs that were open are Gone! I can’t find the “restore previous session” option anywhere.

Can you tell me where to find it? How do I get the previous session back?!?

I’ve been using Firefox for years. Firefox not starting up after the update with all the previous tabs open is devastating to me. I need to get the previous session restored. Please help

I recently made the (apparently) foolish decision to allow Firefox to upgrade using the Play store App. This is on a Galaxy S8 running Android 9. Firefox 109.2.0 was installed and upon opening the App, all of my user data was gone. No tabs, bookmarks, saved passwords or other settings were available.

This is unacceptable. There appears to be no way to recover the lost information, but I am opening this case to determine if there is a recovery strategy. Of course, I don't really want to run version 109.2.0 and will revert back to something that works without losing data as soon as the missing data is recovered.

I'm not sure why the Firefox Devs seem to think that user data is a disposable and unimportant item, but I would encourage a full review of their processes to determine why they have failed so badly.

In the meantime, if anyone has a method that might be used to recover the old profile data, that would be very helpful.

Some notes: 1) No, I don't use Sync (or whatever they are calling it today) because it is a security risk in my view to have any third party including Mozilla know my bookmarks. 2) about:profiles does not work. 3) I'm not sure what version was installed earlier, but AdBlock Plus was working fine, so it may have been a year or more since my last update.

I couldnt see a way to download your browser for andriod with using googl. which sort of defeats the idea because I wanted to use firefx as an alternative and dont need a play account. is there a download link available? thanks.

I tried going to the Data folder, but there is only 1 folder there, "export messages", for an app that lets me print out or save existing text messages .

I'm getting a blue dot on the hamburger icon and when I tap the burger icon there's a blue dot next to "install" on the drop-down menu. However when I switch to another tab there's no Blue Dot and there's no install menu item.

What is the install icon wanting me to install and if it's a Firefox update why isn't this blue dot showing on all of my open tabs?

I have been trying to re install Firefox on my Nokia android phone. I have tried many ways to do it but nothing seems to work.

Has anyone help me with this please?

Firefox on Windows works extremely well. On my cell phone (Samsung A32) it also works very good but I cannot find anything in the Settings or Help (again on the cell phone) to check for updates?

While browsing a site the site responded by saying my browser (i.e., Firefox) was not up to date.

I immediate went to find a "Check for updates" button in either Settings or Help. I could not find anything.

I assume the cell Firefox is up to date since the latest rev is shown as 122.0 and dated in late January 2024 but there is no button within the cell phone App to verify this.

Could someone suggest how to check on my Android cell phone (Samsung A32) if the Firefox is up to date?

I just updated to 109 and years of bookmark are gone. In previous versions there was an option to import bookmarks. 109 has nothing. Menu,bookmarks has one option:desktop bookmarks. In there are 3 options all of which give a message ,no bookmarks here, when tapped. 1. Have I missed something. 2. If not can I roll back the update, if so how? Thank you

I have a few questions about the storage space used by Firefox v60.00 on Android 6.0.

Here is a picture of the storage space used up by Firefox on my phone

Cache has been cleared.

Data however is using up a large amount of space (1.3GB).

uBlock origin version 1.16.6 is the only plugin/addon I have installed.

I don't have any downloads.

By comparison Chrome browser on my phone takes up less than 100MB of storage space.

Questions

What is a normal clean install size for firefox on Android ?

What is deleted if I clear the 1.3GB of Data? Will my bookmarks be deleted. Will uBlock origin be deleted (my only installed plugin).

How can I backup my bookmarks to a file?

How do I determine what is using up all this storage space in Firefox, and prevent it from happening again?

Before I update my tablet, I wanted to know if my tabs were going to look like they do on my phone or stay the same. I prefer the more "PC" look on my tablet. Screenshot attached for example of them all at the top. If not, what can we do? Thanks!

I would like to no longer use Firefox focus on my iPhone. How do I delete it from my App Library?
