I created two groups under News, it is now in the Left Tab area Account listing, now I can't delete both of the news groups and their Trash folders from the tab listing. There is no "DELETE FUNCTION" on either news group. How do I delete these two? Nothing is setup, so I should be able to delete those in the listing.
When Mozzilla is shut down and restarted my email account/s have all been removed and all I have is the "Setup your existing email" page

I'm trying to set up Outlook in Thunderbird and I'm completely lost. I think I have the following problems
1) I can access my Outlook account on the Outlook platform, but I sign in using my @ymail address So strange as it may seem, I don't have or know my outlook email address to fill in
2) When I sign in to the Outlook platform, they send me an email to my @ymail address, and when I click on it, I get into my account. So strange as it may seem again alas, I don't know my Outlook password to fill in
I'll probably have other problems, but for now I'd like to know how to solve the 2 above problems. If you're wondering, I have read up about setting up Outlook in Thunderbird, but I can't find any answers to my questions.

I regularly receive email at my catchall address: "Kordin <your-business-name@mydomain.com>"
But my mail host won't let me send from a custom @mydomain.com without setting it up, which is too much hassle.
So I spent a bunch of time a while ago setting up a different mail provider to send from these custom addresses, while still using my primary provider just for my most important addresses.
TB used to use the identity with a specific match for a from address to reply from. Otherwise it would match the *@mydomain.com identity and reply from "What You Called Me <what.address.you.used@mydomain.com>"
Currently it seems to select the wild card identity, but not populate the name. It also no longer displays the warning message that it will use an alternative identity.
I feel sure there's been some regression here, but the TB docco is all over the place.
Can someone please shed some light on this for me?

I have a business domain with four email accounts at GoDaddy on Microsoft Outlook. I have a new laptop (Windows 11); when I set up Thunderbird for the accounts, three came in fine, but one does not connect to the server - the account on TB shows just an "Inbox" with no mail, no other folders. All the settings appear to be identical between the different accounts. What am I missing?

It might have been in a 'Local Folders' that has its own 'archive', where I can now put new mail I want to archive. Or it might have been in the 'Archives' in the Unified Folder's list (an equal to Junk and Trash etc).

Hi, I don't know if I'm in the right place. I can't login to two Google accounts and 3 emails. My ex hacked my accounts, changed passwords and has her phone number as the backup. I can't talk to her to get the codes. I no longer have my phone that I used to set these up. These are so important, not because of actual emails, but for all the pictures and other personal things in those accounts. This is a nightmare. It took 10 days forme to get into FB and Messenger. The number ending in 69 is hers and 23 is no longer active. Thank you

After that I tried to add a new account from settings but couldn't. There is a message that the account already exists. But when I go to account settings, there is only Local folder. How can I add the new account?

I switched to another mailing provider and before this I made an export of the mailbox. The Imap account was deleted at the provide, so my mailbox is lost. Now I tried to import the mailbox again, but the import fails.
I tried the import manager, but every time after import only empty local map are left. After this I tried the different options (profile of files), both gives the same results, showing an empty map. Then I tried the addon ImportExportTools NG 14.1.2. During the import TB shuts down. When TB starts after the import, for about 10 secs it shows the mailbox with the imported mails. Then unfortunaly all the email dissapears. Could anyone help me with this issue?
