I have a Signature setup and it works great on NEW Emails, however, if I click on reply to an email the signature is not there. I have the checkbox checked for "Include signature for replies" but it doesn't seem to work. I've tried unchecking it, restarting the app, re-checking it and restarting again, still doesn't work.

If I use Thunderbird for Android to send or answer an e-mail it will be stored in the folder "Sent". That is correct, but I also receive a 100% copy of the e-mail in my Inbox. I cannot find a setting to switch off this behaviour.

Also McAffee notification with all these popups stating that my McAffee protection expired yesterday - I have never had a McAffee notification for a virus or pair for protection from them. Popups are happening every 10 seconds continuously! looks like about 20 or more popups describing different problems with 20 digit numbers and letters as a serial number of the problem!

Hello. I was curious and allowed accuweather but now I regret that and want to get rid of it. But I cannot find it anywhere on my Firefox account, I have been loking everywhere but cannot find anyway to delete accuweather. It feels like a malware and I cannot get rid of it. Please help. Yesterday I tried to update Firefox to 146.0, but the update failed, consistently. Here's what I did: Seeing the usual "There is a new update available"-pop up, I accepted. "About" screen came up. I clicked the button "update to 146.0", but no download started. I waited about 15 minutes, but still no download. I closed the window. Next, I tried the menu option: "Help->About Firefox". "About" screen came up. I clicked the button "update to 146.0". Same as above, no download.

Before anyone asks the obvious questions: Yes, I was connected to the internet the whole time. I checked that by calling up random pages. No, my firewall was not blocking Firefox. No, it was not just one quirky device. I tried it on laptop and desktop both. Yes, I did close and restart Firefox, I even rebooted the devices, and tried again. Same problem.

Now while my workaround (see below) helped, there is still the question of the update process failing in the first place. For me, that brings up two pressing issues at least: 1. Has anyone external tampered with the update process, maybe with malicious intent? It has happened to several software distributors, most recently the guy behind Notepad ++. 2. What happened to people relying on automatic (i.e. not prompting) updates? Did they even notice they were not being updated?

Not a solution, but a workaround: I synced all my setting to my Firefox-account (worked just fine, no problems), downloaded the newest installer, installed the new version on top of the old (worked like a charm), started new version, all just fine. I did not even need to sync my settings back, all was kept intact. Excellent!

Recently my Thunderbird mail has been 'glitchy'.

Sometimes I receive audible alerts for emails, other times I don't.

Sometimes the number of new emails received is correct, other times it shows 4 new emails when, across all my accounts, the number is 2 (for example).

Are either or both of these known issues?

I also noticed when I was watching a live music stream on TikTok last week, I 'had' no emails for almost 2 hours. As soon as I left TikTok and closed my browser window emails 'arrived', one timestamped 45 minutes earlier. The settings for that account are set to check for emails every 5 minutes.

Could the Chinese be 'watching me' 😁 or is there another more innocent explanation?

I'm getting notifications that my hard drive is infected with a Trojan. It appears to be McAfee pretending to be from Mozilla Firefox. I can't get rid of the damned things!
