I installed Thunderbird on a new PC Win 11. I can not access passwords. In Firefox I can not configure Thunderbird in email link to this page. Regards, Boris [email]@verizon.net

I've been attempting to test a game project on Firefox (my main browser), but when I connect a controller, the inputs get jumbled and are incomplete, compared to the inputs working on other browsers fine such as Chrome.

Specs: I use windows 10 on a desktop computer and laptop. Latest version of Firefox (and Chrome) on both. I have a PS5 Dualsense controller, connected to the computer via an offbrand USB-C cable.

When opening up this site: https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad and connecting the controller, I see a different view on Firefox and Chrome. When using it on Firefox, the controller monitor is invisible and only a couple parameters are shown. In addition, the parameters that update are assigned to the wrong things (such as hitting the home button registering as hitting "up" on the d-pad).

Meanwhile on Chrome, I can open up the site and the controller monitor fully loads, as well as the inputs being lined up properly.

You can see this visually in the attached screenshots. This phenomenon also shows up on other controller testers.

I'm using a web-based game engine that supports exporting, and the same symptoms show up when testing the game out on both browsers, and the issue is also present when the game is exported. I've been working with the engine developer trying to tackle this bug so any help would be greatly appreciated!

All of a sudden the drop menu in focus includes "Ask Bing" and there is apparently no way to remove this. There are other options included in the list of options that I would like to remove as well. As well, the drop menu window doesn't expand to accommodate all these options: Search in Focus is hidden at the bottom of the list. Essentially, the only way to open a new tab in Focus is to access the drop menu and select Search in Focus

Unable to open the summary file for [Gmail]/Sent Mail on myemail@gmail.com. Perhaps there was an error on disk, or the full path is too long.

I am plagued with this error message on various accounts. The folders have opened before and it exists on the Gmail website application.

The SSD is fine with plenty of available space. Over twice needed by the system.

The profile folder is 65GB. Can Thunderbird handle that much data storage?

Can we get a setting that disable the Quick Find feature or at least its keyboard shortcut.

It breaks keyboard shortcuts on multiple sites, as it is often used to select the search bar(Youtube, Github, ...)

When Thunderbird did an update on my computer to vr.128.8.0 (Nubula) in February, my Thunderbird Contact list and Folders were deleted. Why did this happen and how can I restore my Folders & Contact list?

When I click on an email in the left-hand list column it now opens the email in an irritating pop-up window. Just started doing this annoying this this past week. I DON'T want it to open the email up again--just want to read it in the right hand display screen. How can I stop this extremenly annoying thing from happening. Never did it before. Don't need it. Extra work. Just want to see the list on left, message on right and NOT pop up into new separate window. Can you tell me how to get rid of this unwanted 'feature?'

I am using POP mail on Thunderbird android. Is there a setting which will cause messages I have read to be deleted from server? In Thunderbird for Linux I can untick "Leave message on server" in account settings but I cannot find a similar setting in Thunderbird for android. Version 8.2 Thank you Donald Aitken

Since the latest MacOS update to 15.3.2 I have had a consistent problem with Thunderbird. After the computer has been asleep for long periods (e.g., overnight), emails I want to send will not recognize the outgoing server. When I quit T-bird and restart the problem is gone. This is true for 5 email addresses on two servers - one of the servers is an @att.net address hosted on Yahoo. The problem doesn't happen after short periods of computer sleep. I'm on an M4 Macbook Pro.

I am upgrading a desktop PC and have the opportunity to customize its components specifically aiming at improving and increasing Thunderbird's performance.

In addition to any software tweaking, what resources or combination of resources would contribute the most to increasing Thunderbird's performance ? Can I use RAM to cache some or all storage activity ?

The current profile and mailbox (IMAP) are >60GB.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Odinstalowałam to rozszerzanie, ale nadal mi się pokazuje żółty trójkącik w manu aplikacji i informacja, żebym zaakceptowała dla niego nowe uprawnienia. To nieco irytujące i nie wiem jak mam się pozbyć tych powiadomień. Proszę mi pomóc w tej sprawie. Dziękuję za poświęcenie mi czasu i mam nadzieję, że pomoc okaże się skuteczna.
