I have spent the last TWO HOURS trying to find an answer to what should be a simple problem, and it seems not to exist!

I need to find out WHERE Firebird lists my email account PASSWORD.

I do NOT want to reset my password.

I simple need to know WHAT my password is, and since I set up the account [actually a few accounts] several years ago, my notes are evidently null and void, because none of those passwords seem to work.

My email is through verizon.net, which is one of the problems because they gave all of their email coltrol to AOL, which thouroughly sucks, and they seem not to have anyone who speaks fluent English who can assist me in FINDING the current password!

If ANYONE can help, it would be most greatly appreciated!!

If I delete my history of the websites I go on is there a way to either restore it or store it some place else in case I want to see it at a future time? Can I also do it If I delete my emails and I would like to see certain emails, again in the future? I use mostly Yahoo and Gmail? I'm using Windows 10.

I use Thunderbird on my Windows 10 desktop PC to access multiple Gmail accounts.

Since March 22nd I have been unable to send or receive email on all of my Gmail accounts. This failure started on all of my Gmail accounts simultaneously. Initially I received a popup message in the lower right portion of my screen reporting authorization failure (sorry, but I do not have the exact text of this message).

Currently I receive the following message: "Did not connect: Potential Security Issue" "Thunderbird detected a potential security threat and did not continue to accounts.google.com because the website requires a secure connection." (I get one of these messages for each Gmail account).

My troubleshooting steps so far

1) I have verified all of my passwords via the Gmail web portal. Passwords function normally. 2) My Gmail email still functions normally on my tablet and my phone. 3) I have completely uninstalled (rebooted) then re-installed Thunderbird on my PC. Failure - same message as above. 4) I have removed one of my Gmail accounts (rebooted) then reinstalled the account. Both via the Thunderbird automated tool and via manual setup (following instructions supplied by both Mozilla and Google). Failure - same message as above. 5) I have installed a different email app (BlueMail) on my PC and set up my gmail accounts. All accounts function as expected. (BlueMail sucks but at least it's functional...LOL). 6) Through the course of my trouble shooting I did receive a one time Thunderbird message indicating that Gmails security certificate had expired. (Doubtful) 7) I am running a fairly basic home network with only Windows Defender providing a software security layer. 8) I have searched through this forum (and the internet at large) for possible solutions. While the error messages I have received seem reasonably common, none of the suggested solutions have proved beneficial. 9) While not impossible, I can not associate this issue with any changes I have made with my PC hardware or software.

After retiring from the corporate world I decided that Outlook had far more complexity than I needed, so after trying out numerous email applications (both free and paid) I settled on Thunderbird which has worked flawlessly for me for over 3 years. I am currently at my wits end... hopefully someone in this forum can help. Thanks in advance, Mark H.

It's so annoying that you ask for my password when I'm already logged in obviously. I'm on the same phone the same internet at the same address you should know by now it's me. And then nobody remembers the password even though they said they remembered it and I don't remember it. And it says if I reset my password I'm going to lose all the bookmarks and all of my logins. What the heck? Why isn't there always option just to login with my Google account? It does sometimes but not always.

Hi all, I am currently getting a warning message as shown, this website is one only accessible from the local network here and so this error message can be ignored. However i was wondering if there is a way for me to disable the warning message as if clicked on will take us out of this window and we want to stay in this window.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a droplet and domain at DigitalOcean. I’ve added users and I’m logging into their mail accounts with ThunderBird. I can send and receive mail between these users, but I can’t get mail from these mail accounts to Gmail and vice versa. No error. Also, when I checked the BlackList status, I saw that my droplet-IP address is in the BlackList: RATS Spam, SORBS SPAM, UCEPROTECTL3. How can I solve the problem?

Dear sir, madam, I have a Thunderbird account. I have access to it and to the menu, but I have to put a password in to receive my new emails. I don't know my password and have tried really everything that is suggested on your website to get my password, renew it, access a reboot-option etc: nothing works - I still keep getting a window where I am asked to put in the password for my account. We downloaded the ADMX and ADML files. Using these files, we were able to locate Mozilla Firefox in Group Policy Management and successfully block all websites in the Firefox browser using the pattern :///*.

However, we encountered an issue with exceptions. We do not wish to block certain websites, including localhost. We attempted to use the "Exceptions to block websites" option, providing values such as ://msn.com/ to exclude specific sites. Unfortunately, this approach did not work as intended. For instance, msn.com is one of the websites we want to allow, among others and also localhost.

We require assistance with the following issue: "Exceptions to block websites" is not functioning properly within the group policy of Mozilla Firefox.

Hello support staff. Here are the specifics ...

1. I installed undelete software from easeus.com 2. Uninstalled the above software 3. In Win10 Task manager under the Performance--Resource Monitor--Network option, saw firefox had a session opened with easeus.com

4. Windows defender shows nothing abnormal. 5. Removed all entries for easeus in registry. 6. Unistalled firefox and reinstalled it. 7. Start firefox and go to some site. 8. Firefox again has a open session with easeus.com in the Task manager.

9. Installed Chrome. No such session with easeus.com on Chrome under Task manager.

10. Issue at 3. pops up whenever I start firefox AND start browsing a site.

I have been dealing with https://www.mynylottery.org/portal/ for weeks trying to get their software to recognize my location, required to place subscriptions on their site. I have switched off every safety and restriction in settings to open the computer to their search for my location. I finally got them on the phone and they told me that for a reason they don't understand, Firefox is the only browser that is currently giving them problems. It refuses to allow them to pinpoint location of the connecting computer either via wi-fi or ethernet connection. Please provide some guidance and if necessary, contact the NYS lottery to solve the problem.

Hi Guys, I just purchased a new Samsung S24+ and I'm trying to log into my thunderbird email account. I'm doing this through Bluemail app (suggest another if needed) and I cant remember my password! I have tried all the suggestion in the FAQ section. I must not be understanding. I normally use Edge and it easily store my information so I don't have to input it every time. However, Firefox does not store it at all. The FAQ say after you type your password you get a save or not save message. I do not get it. No where does it allow me to store anything. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox to make sure I have the latest. But same results. Any suggestion on what or how to store my data. I do not see the screens the FAQ shows. How can I save my data. I want to get rid of edge.

Someone is blocking you for me to get help with anything at all and it is not right now because of this issue I can tell you that someone put a family bell on several of my phone's that I am 55 yrs old and it is probably the guy who is insecure and I can tell it's been put on this phone and I don't know what to do about it but it is not right to be doing that so he can adjust everything see everything and then I found several things that I would never know that it was disturbing and disgusting and it shows up on my phone for me to what? How do I delete, remove, or otherwise disable that garbage "review checker" from the latest firefox update. It's useless, un-needed thing that I don't trust.

Integration from password managers are being blocked by Firefox because Mozilla believes something is critical to protect when trying to access their servers ( account.firefox.com )

Why?

Additionally, there is a work around, with removing ALL entries for the extensions.webextensions.restrictedDomains config flag. But why does Mozilla think they are so important that extensions shouldn't use them?
