Po aktualizácii Thunderbird z 68.12.0 na 78.2.2. nefunguje prijatie pošty jednej z mailových schránok. V Thubderbirde mám nastavené tri rôzne emailové schránky, po aktualizácii dve fungujú bez problémov. Jedná má problém s prijatím správ. Nestiahne aktuálne správy a nevypíše ani chybu. Správa sa ale odoslať dá. Skúsil som konto odstrániť a nastaviť nanovo a pri nastavení všetkých údajov Thunderbird konto nevytvorí a napíše "Thunderbirdu sa nepodarilo nájsť nastavenie pre Váš poštový účet". Skúšal som prihlásiť konto aj na iných mailových klientoch, tam všetko funguje bez problémov. Vopred ďakujem za pomoc, alebo radu.

Today Thunderbird updated to version 78.2.2. After that, the application screen is just empty. All of my email folders are gone. The main menu items can be clicked, but nothing happens. E.g., I cannot access account settings or options.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

I have seen this problem posted several times without a solution and having fixed it, I am making the effort to let all know the answer.

Here is the error / problem: "The RETR command did not succeed. Error retrieving a message. Mail server pop-server.woh.rr.com responded: no such message."

I had this happen some time ago on another pop on RR mail server and logging in via Web Mail and deleting the emails worked BUT.. It happened again on another pop account and it did not work.. So... I nuked the pop via the master account and re-added it.. nothing so, I ran check disk thinking a FAT corruption NOPE, I restored a MOZBACK of Thunderbird from like a month ago Ziltch.. I called useless RR support and nothing!

FINALLY *Scratching Head*.. In there change your Junk mail options to "delete the email". I had one junk email stuck in there and after refreshing that page..That one Junk Email was gone and THEN Thunderbird worked checking that pop..

WAHLAH!

I hate when the simplest of things do not work and it pissed me off nobody had the answer.. HERE YOU ALL GO!

The system keeps putting emails from a regular sender into spam.

This was never an issue but the last 3 months all emails from a particular sending keep getting sent to spam. I have added the sender to my contact list. I keep marking … (читать ещё)

This was never an issue but the last 3 months all emails from a particular sending keep getting sent to spam. I have added the sender to my contact list. I keep marking the emails as "not junk" while they're in the spam folder and they get moved into the "inbox" but the next one that comes in goes straight to spam. What else can I do to get them to stop going into spam? I would think that after 3 months the adaptive system would have learned to adapt.

Do hope someone can help?

Have tried all suggestions in Support area on topic: Lost/Recover Bookmarks. Also spoke to Windows Support and was told to call Mozilla Firefox Technical Support. I've been unable to find a number.

I had a Windows update around the same time as a Firefox update, May/June, only realised all saved bookmarks prior to June 2020 have disappeared. This has never happened before.

Urgently need to find out if there's a method of retrievel or have it confirmed that all of these very important bookmarks are permanently lost.

Hi all. I seem to got into a right mess with the layout of my emails and now, when I see an email I get Message ID and Return path showing, which never showed before; also, when I print out an email I now get an enormous amout of script with a load of gobbledebgook. I just want plain, no frills emails and print outs! How do I restore Thunderbird to a simple format? Thanks in advance, David

My antivirus program quarantined INBOX file from my profile folder when downloading messages.

I am new to Thunderbird. After adding my Gmail account in TB, it started downloading messages. There were 44000+ messages to be downloaded. Everything was fine till downloading 30000+ messages. While download going on, my antivirus program (Bitdefender Total Security) suddenly quarantined INBOX file from my TB profile folder (C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\ImapMail\imap.gmail.com). Actually At that time I was not in front of my PC. When I came back after some time the antivirus quarantined the INBOX file again. I immediately looked at the above mentioned path. The INBOX file was newly created and its size was increasing as the download was still continuing. I immediately closed the TB to stop downloading.

Now, There are two INBOX files in BD quarantine and one INBOX file in TB profile folder.

1. Can I restore the quarantined files? If yes, which one of the two files should I restore? 2. What should I do the newly created INBOX file in the TB profile folder? Can I delete it to restore the quarantined file(s)?

I need all my messages without any loss? Please help.

Hi,

Since the lastest 79.0.5 Firefox for Android version was installed on my mobile phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 4), autofilling connexion fields (logins + passwords) on every websites I visit is not possible anymore.

All logins and passwords are still there, and Firefox still maintains the list up to date (if I enter a wrong password for example, FF proposes to update its list). But this list isn't usable anymore for autocompletion.

This page on Mozilla support is not up to date on this purpose, because the switch to activate autofill function has disapeared from this version :

Here is a screenshot of what I see (french version), and no switch there...

Is it a bug, and how to get it back ? Thank you for your help.
