This issue occurs when switching between any tabs, not exclusively ones with active media content such as YouTube, as previously suspected. This problem has persisted across multiple instances, without a discernible pattern or specific tab content causing the issue.

Hi, I can't read some DRM protected media anymore (Prime video, Spotify) in Firefox in Windows10.

The error I get say that firefox doesn't have Widevine installed (but it does).

I can read the content with other browsers (Brave) so the problem is not Windows Media Foundation i guess?

What I already tried:

-untoggling/toggling Widevine in plugins

-reinstalling firefox and using a new profile

-using Firefox Nightly

-removing the drm folder from the profile and relaunching firefox

I use Mozilla Thunderbird 115.9.0 (64-bit). I was able to send messages until just recently. Now when I send a message, it just hangs - no error message or anything (these are very short messages). I am able to receive messages just fine and send a message through webmail at cox.net

Please find attached a screenshot of my account settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thunderbird continues to lose my password for incoming and outgoing mail. Occasionally it works, but I keep getting messages that my password doesn't work / enter new password. When I go to passwords, it does not show the incoming or outgoing servers so I can make sure my password is there. I use Xfinity for my email. It was suggested earlier that it is an Xfinity problem. My Thunderbird email is essentially unuseable. I need it to work!

Just updated Firefox, now it doesn't respond to clicks, not can I select text, websites don't load, all the tabs are at half -resolution. Unusable. Need to use it.

I am a long-time TB user with gmails. No problems in the past. I inadvertently hit send for my reply to a message delivered to me on a no-reply account (Wordpress). A big overlay screen popped up with the heading "sign in with Google" and then "sign in to continue to Thunderbird email"; then "enter email or phone"; and then "next". Clicking next takes you to a new screen that reads "Google 400, the server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That's all we know."

Meanwhile, TB tries to log on until it times out, ending with small box in lower corner of the screen, "Authentification error" (see third screen shot).

I logged onto my Google account and as far as I can tell that is okay. I've turned off my computer and tried sending emails, but always get the above screens. Seems like I'm caught in a loop and can't cancel out the error message. Is this a TB problem or a Google problem. Help!

I'm asking my question here because I am not sure whether that is a bug with Thunderbird (as suggested by similar topics found with a quick online search) or with my system.

I am currently using Thunderbird 115.9.0 on an Arch Linux system with kernel Linux 6.8.4-arch1-1 and GNOME 46 with Wayland.

The problem is: The compose message window immediately loses focus when I click at it. Closing the main window doesn't help (or any other open window for that matter). I can still type and some of the buttons still work (tested Save and Send) but I can't edit recipients and I can't close the window (attempting to closes other open windows instead).

Things that were recommended elsewhere and that I tried to no avail: - clearing the cache - updating thunderbird and my system (already up to date) - moving the window to another workspace/closing all other open windows - restarting (duh)

I think this problem is with Thunderbird because I don't experience focusing issues with other programs.

I am also happy to provide additional info if someone wants to write an actual bug report. I was just scared off by the requirements of Bugzilla.

My Firefox recently updated to version 124.0.2. Afterwards my taskbar shortcut broke, so I pinned a new one manually (right-clicked Firefox in start menu > open file location.) When I opened Firefox it had reset the primary profile to be default, so I changed it back to my BetterFox profile. Since then I've run into several oddities, such as Firefox crashing when it's running in the background, getting an error saying "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window," when I try to open it, invisible shortcuts in my taskbar(see image) and my bookmark visibility resetting from always to only in new tab every time I start up Firefox. Please help me.

I'm using MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1 and recently, my browser has started freezing up for several minutes. It seems that the culprit is the "fontd" process because when I open Activity Manager that process spikes to %50 to %80 CPU usage. Killing the process does nothing and quitting out of Firefox does nothing either. I made sure Firefox is fully updated, but still nothing. I'm not sure whether it's a problem with my Macbook Pro's fonts or if it's a problem with Firefox, but I'd like my browser to be reliable.

Does anyone know what might be causing this issue or what I can do to resolve it?

I have used Firefox as my browser for many years and lately my emails won't open or if they do it is very slow sometimes and won't allow me to delete emails. Not sure why this is happening and I asked by email provider and they told me to follow some instructions about fining the menu button of Firefox which I couldn't find then he gave me a link and I tried to follow but was unable to make any progress. I use spectrum email services

Every time I'm trying to stream video like live sports the video lags so much. I've tried to reinstall the app and run it with no addon ( even though I only use 2 addons) and problem still persists... I'm using a Samsung S21 Ultra.

Account setup: Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password. TB gmail was working fine, then all of a sudden a TB pop-up window was asking me to sign into thunderbird with my gmail account and then shows a 400 error. Totally confused at what is happening. I have been getting gmail via TB for years.

Triggered usually by any Website with a (google) map.

   Chrome on Android 13 on the Oukitel RT5 displays these Websites properly.

'Split Screen' functionality & gestures useless. The appear they might work until finger contact with the touchscreen is discontinued, then every attempt rebounds to half the screen still black.

  The only 'way out' of 'split' screen is to exit FF.

I believe that Thunderbird is one of the best email client programs available. This believe is the reason that i am trying to migrate to your email software. Sadly i have been experiencing a some dificulties on my main machine. I’ve tried for several times configurating the email on thunderbird, with sucess. The problem resides on every time that i close the program or restart my computer my email account vanishes from thunderbird. I am using an exchange2019 mail box. Could you please help me out with this situation.

Hi, this issue has been present for a long time for me, and with many versions of Firefox Nightly for Android.

I'm always using the latest nightly for browsing Youtube only, with a set of specific settings and addons (since we can't use profiles on Android yet)

My problem is I've configured the Homepage to never show anything but a few URLs I chose to pin, you can see my settings and my homepage in the screenshots attached.

Despite the "Recently visited" setting being disabled, sometimes, but not everytime, the last pages I visited are added to the Homepage, after the pinned sites. I have no idea what triggers it or not, if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a bug.
