I want to manage cookies on android, but all I can do is delete all the ones I have or keep them all. I want to delete cookies by site, but I can't find an option for this.

Add-on cookie managers don't work on android - including on android beta.

How can I manage cookies, and other local storage settings by website or even individual cookies?

Hi guys. I tested this recently on notebook with Windows 10. I installed Firefox, sign in to my account, synced everything. Let's say, I need to delete all the data and this account from this particular device. I couldn't find such an option. When I deleted my account from Firefox, all the data left on the notebook! Even when I uninstall the browser, and then install it again - browser restored all the data!!!

Is it possible to delete my sync account and all the data related to it: history, bookmarks, sessions, extensions, add-ons, everything?

Let's say, I'm signed in on a friend's laptop and need to delete everything later.

When I open youtube, there´s nothing wrong. But when I sign in with my account, the page stops working. It only happens with firefox, chrome an edge doesn't do that.

Whenever I open a youtube video, go to other tabs, come back after some time and unpause it, it either takes 1-2 seconds for it to start, or the video unpauses without sound, which comes back after 1-2 seconds. Is this normal? If it is, is there a setting I can change?

When I download almost any type of file, Firefox nicely asks whether I would like to always save the file, or always open it with some program. But for .jpg files, it makes a blanket, hard-coded assumption that I do not want to preserve my choice. I cannot add .jpg to the list of actions in the preferences. The authors of the browser forcibly mandate that a .jpg download must go to a popup, and the user's preferred action cannot be maintained internally.

This is a mistake. I realize someone thought it was a very rational idea. it is not. This is a bug.

How can I work around this mistake in the Firefox design?

Help me disable your new method of always sending a promo popup to my screen whenever I go to the internet. My work with information requires intense concentration and your unnecessary popups are very disruptive. When I want to update to a newer ver of FF after I check it out thoroughly as I ran into lots of work as one of your updates caused me to loose hundreds of passwords, EOS.

Hello, I link many items to Pinterest from my page. In the past, when I clicked the Pinterest button, the new window would open up in normal mode. For some reason, now when I click it, it opens Normal (I guess), but it's a very small window. I've tried to resize it so it opens that way next time, but nothing saves. Do any of you have suggestions on how I can fix that? It's a pain having to resize the window every time. Thanks so much.

I have version 75.0 of firefox. I was browsing as normal and it suddenly locked up. If I type in the address bar then search suggestions appear but nothing loads in the main window. Non of my favourites load. Clicking the new tab button doesn't load a new tab. The menu button opens but the options don't load. I have tried uninstalling. I have removed any sign of mozilla / firefox from my program files and program files x86. If I right click on the main window, the menu that appears has pretty much every option you could imagine. theirs so many option that it scrolls off the screen. on one occasion my laptop blue screened (which it doesn't normally do) but when it came back on firefox worked again until I turned the laptop back on again the next day and it was broke again

but when i log back in with my account. all of them is gone, could you please help me ?

i already try to synchronize the device with my account. but its still nothing happened.

please help i have a search history, book mark, and password, from when i still in elementary school.

Firefox just upgraded to 80.0.1 . . . on Mac OS High Sierra . . .

1. 1 Open new browser window
2. 2 Go to : http://www.Google.com/maps/
3. 3 paste or key an address into the "Where?" field, and
4. 4 BOOM Firefox immediately closes the Google window.

On a Macbook Pro, running Mac OS High Sierra, 10.13.6 FireFox version 75.0 works perfectly, and Google Maps works perfectly.

(Except for the annoying notices to upgrade, which is what was done, finally got tired of getting the upgrade notice so she upgraded and BOOM Firefox doesn't work on Google Maps. So now she's using Safari for Google Maps)

The drop-down list with known usernames and passwords extends until below the screen if there is a sufficient number of usernames stored. The funny thing is that the list is scrollable by mouse and arrow (up/down) keys, so it wouldn't be necessary to extend the list that far down. Just until the lower boundary of the current firefox windowwould have been sufficient.

The result is that I can't see (nor select) the usernames that are listed below the screen.

Firefox 75 64 bit on Fedora 32.

I hope this description was clear enough as I'm hesitant to include a screenshot showing all usernames involved on those site.

For anyone who wonders why so many logins: it's a list of email adresses currently in use in a webmail service.

Hello, I use Firefox 75.0 on an Ubuntu 18.04 system to access CAC enabled (smartcards) US government websites. Generally all works as desired. However, intermittently (couple times a day ---> once every few days) the browser simply, quietly refuses to allow the CAC to login, when I visit a CAC-secured site. A browser dialog is presented and asks for my PIN, but closes without error, yet the PIN is not accepted and the site (correctly) refuses access. In my troubleshooting, I found that if I look at the Security Devices tab under Privacy&Security, the PKCS#11 module shows the CAC as not logged in. If I attempt to log in at that page, I get the usual PIN dialog, but after submission, a new message box appears with the notice that "Log in failed", and I can see that module still says Log out.

It appears that some file lock or related mechanism is in effect and needs to be reset. The only solution I have been able to use is close Firefox completely (all windows), and restart. This works but not desired as I have several different sites I'm active on, and each requires separate logins.

Any suggestions for further troubleshooting would be appreciated. My forays into Google searches all end up as help to get CAC card working, which is not my problem. The card works until Firefox (or something related in the middleware) freezes and the only recourse is to restart.

Can you please turn OFF the update window that happens every time I launch Firefox now? I do not have rights to update my machine and the updates are handled by corporate IT. It's extremely annoying.

For the last at least 25 releases, FF has gotten continually more hostile to someone like me who is visually impaired. I had read that FF was going to stop using the hamburger for menus because screen readers couldn't process it. That has not happened. Hamburgers, paper airplanes, icons instead of text, triple dots, and selector switches to turn settings on and off are all anti-accessibility. I don't like any of those features anyway. What is wrong with words like, "Menu," "Submit," or "Send"? This has been getting worse and worse over time. I don't know if the developers for FF are simply oblivious to the problems that they are causing or if they know but don't care. Gmail is worse but it seems like FF is following Google. What a horrible thing to do for accessibility, among other things. At least, though, Gmail on my phone can use the pinch technique to make the text larger. Firefox on my Android phone will not allow that. I cannot enlarge text in any window in the native FF phone app. This anti-accessibility is to pervasive it seems deliberate. Why is this being done????

Hello to all, I work with Firefox 75.0 (64-bits) and I keep it always updated. My telecomprovider offers me regularly the invoice in pdf-format. When I download it, the filename is changed into 8 characters, not being a sensible or readable name (ie "7fH5Rsd3.pdf"). When I asked the the provider to change this, it was clear it already is. Other customers working with IE or Chrome etc. don't have this problem. It was suggested this could be Firefox itself. The strange thing is this happens only with this provider and apparantly only with me. Everywhere else pdf's or any other file downloads just fine with their respective names. So, what could be the cause? One obscure setting in Firefox? Or should I look elsewhere? BTW: this is happening with all previous versions of Firefox, but I don't know when it started.

I want to know how to sync from my phone to my computer not from my computer to my phone. My computer sync data is corrupted and there's no backup files, while my phone still has all it's files. Firefox was spiking my ram usage by 60% or more yesterday so I uninstalled and reinstall it even though the old and new was both the latest version. When I signed on again, my computer sync data would not bring back my bookmarks, passwords, add-ons, etc..

That's why I want to know how to sync from my phone to my computer, but now my phone can't even sync, if I sync it the date doesn't change at all that it was last sync today. it shows the very last time i sync on my phone which was a month ago. I tried looking up this problem and there were some people who had same problem a few years ago but they still have their files. I have zero files of backup of anything on my computer

Recently updated to the latest 2 versions and Firefox is failing download speed wise. Upload speeds are what they should be. I have ran speed tests from multiple sources and all return a similar range - 40-60Mbps. My provider speed is 100Mbps. I have run the same tests with Safari and it is operating at 100% speed wise. Are new security features and / or tracking filters responsible for this slow down ?
