Closed Firefox to update Adobe Flash. When restarted, all bookmarks were gone, and could not be restored from backup, imported (from .json file, .html file nor Google Chrome) or even manually added. The skin was also deactivated, but, at least, it could be reactivated manually. As for the bookmarks, all bookmark-related functionality has ceased to function, and all data seems either lost or unreadable. Browser history was unaffected, but tab groups were mashed up into one. Tried restarting Firefox, restarting PC, reinstalling Firefox, replacing all Firefox files with backup, etc. Nothing is working. Nine years of bookmarks are at stake and I really don't want to migrate to Google Chrome. Is there a way to fix this?

When I upgraded to Win10, the colours on my laptop changed. I managed to regain control using the built-in tweaks in the Intel chip, but there's a difference between the colours seen in Windows and those viewed on Firefox. I looked in about:config and toggled gfx.color_management.display_enablev4 without any change. Where else can I look?
BTW, I can't add images, the uploader just keeps spinning.

I need a User Agent String to make Firefox for Android be seen as Internet Explorer 11 / Operating System Windows 10 so I can download a driver for my Windows 10 PC so I can connect to the net.
Currently only my Android devices can connect to the net. The websites I connect to in order to get the drivers see my Android devices as Android and won't let me access the Windows Update files.

Firefox has elected to include the add-on OpenH264 video codec. According to this support site, the codec "is a legitimate part of Firefox, that for licensing issues has to be shipped as a plugin". What does that even mean? Please explain (1) what the OpenH264 video codec actually is, and (2) why it "has to" be installed. To state that this is "for licensing issues" says nothing; it's a waste of words.
Mozilla should be able to answer these simple questions. I'll continue to keep the add-on disabled, as I would with any other unknown software. Thanks.
