FF112 encountered this exact eror beginning march 7. upgrading to F123 default setings has not helped. Is this eror indicating only a certain browser can continue to the website?

I was having trouble getting into my Ancestry account. I called their support and they said it was my browse not connecting with them. I can access if I use Edge, but I don't like that format and would much more prefer Firefox. Is there a problem, or were they just brushing me off? How can I get into Ancestry using Firefox again? I encountered page refresh problem everytime. today i was paying bill on firfox and i was redirected to UPI app to complete payment, but when i came back to firefox page, it refreshed and whole progress and payment stuck. please resolve this issue soon.

My vision is not good, so I often miss type things. So I enter things like[email@mail.com] instead of {email@gmail.com} and variations there of. So every time I go to a new site, and I gave to enter my email address I get a list of miss-typed addresses with the correct one. Everything I try to search on how to to delete these erroneous entries, comes back on how turn off the option to use this function. Hi, When I use a shortcut for a bookmark (e.g., typing "yt" to activate my youtube search bookmark with URL set to "https://www.youtube . com/results?search_query=%s" and shortcut set to "yt") it opens in a new tab. I am in the habit of making a new tab before using a shortcut to search using a bookmark. How can I change the shortcut bookmark behavior to open in the same tab where i typed the query into the URL bar?

Hello. This is a feature many users has been asking for. The tab list switch should be visible on the toolbar for easy switching between tabs. Also tab grouping and per site isolation are features that's been requested forerver

I have some new issues after a recent update.

The tab bar fades when the window isn't focused. I certainly didn't have it set to do that before, and I have had no luck finding the setting for it. Tell me what the setting is?

Another I'd like to know the setting for, is the behavior of the address bar. It used to always be white, and now it's gray unless I'd entering something in it. I'd like to switch the setting back to the other way.

I've tried hunting for the settings for these things, but it has not been intuitive for me, and I guess I keep overlooking the pertinent settings somehow. Please tell me what parts of the settings page, or what about:config entries, will get things put back as I had them?

Dear Anyone.

So I got ransomwared awhile back - the AZQT one - and managed to get out of it with copious use of backups! Thing IS - it's left my Outlook/Hotmail E_mail page in Russian - and I can't select 'change to English' because all the sub-menus are in Russian and I don't know what to click on!

Now when I first load up the page, I get a lovely-looking little box 'Firefox has detected this page is in Russian, would you like to translate to English' (or words to that effect, y'know.) But the box appears and disappears so fast I don't have time to click on it. I managed to get to it a couple of times and it worked perfectly. But normally it vanishes before I can get there.

How do I make the little box stick around longer so I can click on it? Or is the same option hidden in a Firefox menu somewhere - I'm not the world's greatest Internet browser geek, so please keep answers simple! - and I could click on it in a Firefox menu? Like I said - if I GET to it in time, it works like a dream. It's just GETTING to it fast enough before it vanishes that's the problem!

Just ad an 'orrible thought. I hope that if it's in a Firefox menu, that's not been turned into Russian too!

I'm not sure when it happened, but somewhere along the line, Firefox stopped showing on-hover tooltips on unfocused windows. Clicking into the Firefox window again can disrupt what I'm doing in another window, however. For example trying to hover on the Firefox window with my mouse cursor, and type the text of the tooltip into a different window, while leaving the tooltip visible. Wrecks that idea!

I guess I assumed it'd be a temporary issue, that'd get resolved in a later update, without having to say anything about it, and I was wrong about that.

Any idea what's up, and how to get the tooltips to work as I would like them to?

On major websites such as espn.com, when on a webpage with a video, the video autoplays despite the settings area of my browser is set up as block audio and video as the default for all websites. espn.com is not listed in the area below that setting for exceptions.

It is both distracting and annoying since this problem has been ongoing for months despite using the latest browser and triple-checking my settings to ensure my settings are properly selected.

I want to come to any page with a video and be forced to press the play button if I want to view it and not have to click in the box to stop it. Thankfully there is no problem with the audio as it is always muted, but I want the full desire of block audio and video to be enabled.

If I manage my bookmarks from the Menu>Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks at the bottom, a separate window pops up where I can attempt to organize my bookmarks.

It seems I have limited functionality in being able to edit these lists and folders. Under "All Bookmarks" I have (3) folders, the Bookmarks Toolbar (which I rarely use anymore), the Bookmarks Menu, and another folder called "Other Bookmarks" which I had added years ago. (Perhaps this folder has been grandfathered in? I don't know that you can add folders at this level anymore)

After moving all the contents of "Other Bookmarks" to the "Bookmarks Menu", I wish to eliminate the "Other Bookmarks" folder. The folder is now empty, but the RMB menu still shows the "delete folder" option grayed out.

I read somewhere that Sync might have something to do with it, but even after signing out of Sync, and trying again, it wouldn't work.

Anything under the "Bookmarks Menu" folder, I have no problem deleting or moving links and folders. (though the GUI could be a little more streamlined) I am just not able to manage anything at the top level. Is there currently a way to do this?

Hi All I have firefox 123.0.1 and don't have widevine! my OS is NetBSD 10 what's the best/easy'ish way to add this as channel 4 & 5 UK broadcaster require widevine installed and I can't find in the add-ons widevine!!!!
