On the latest Firefox Nightly builds (I use Nightly for extensions), holding the back button in the Android navigation bar no longer brings up previous pages, like it does when holding the back button in the three dot menu. Is there a config option to bring this back?

My option for night mode to invert the colors for websites has suddenly disappeared from the menu. If I go to settings I can turn on dark mode but it does not work for a lot of websites. How can I get night mode back?

I own a Samsung Fold 5 phone. I have set the outer display used when the phone is folded to 300dp. The inner unfolded width is set to 601dp.

Up until very recently, when I folded or unfolded my phone, websites would resize. Often switching between layouts made for phones and layouts made for tablets or desktops. This still happens in Chrome. But no longer does in Firefox. Instead the site has the same resolution in both modes, making the text too small to read when folded. This effectively makes Firefox unusable unless I unfold my phone. Please make Firefox respect the resolution I have set for each mode again so I can view websites at a width of 300px in folded mode like I used to.

Note I have the slider for "desktop site" turned off. When I try to turn it on, nothing happens. The slider doesn't activate and the resolution does not change. (But the page does reload.) This used to give me the option of 3 different resolutions for my screen, (300 folded, 601 unfolded, and something like 1024 in desktop mode.) I'm not sure if desktop mode is permanently turned on now, or if the phone is set to permanently use 601 width, but it is definitely not using the 300 width I used to get when folded. The desktop mode slider is to the left and will not change.

I opened site settings and turned off always request desktop site and nohing changed. I am still unable to get the 300 width site I need to be able to use Firefox on a folded phone.

Hi, let me describe my problem:

I enabled pull to refresh gesture function and until recently it worked great. But I noticed odd behavior recently: To activate pull to refresh, one should "pull from top", right? But if I just drag from middle to top to just scroll through website, it refreshes as if I pull from top.

This happens only when I moved to new pages. For example, I clicked a post in reddit to open that post >> the post opens, I try to scroll the page to see post comments >> and boom the page refreshes. After that this won't happen in the same page.

I hope to find solution and currently disabled pull to refresh.

Today, for no particular reason that I am aware of, Firefox has undocked my normal iOS full keyboard and started using a tiny little iPhone sized keyboard. How do I restore the normal default iPad keyboard?

On various sites, e.g. DuckDuckGo search results, parts of the text are missing. Sometimes it's one or more complete lines, sometimes it's part of the line (left, right, middle, upper, lower part). It looks like rectangles in background colour hide the text. Zooming changes the affected zones and generally makes more an more text visible again. Selecting the missing text also makes it visible. This happens on only one device. Complete deinstallation and reinstallation of Firefox for Android didn't help.

This example should be straightforward, as you can see the title bar on the bottom has a dark blue color from the source app (Tusky) while the navigation bar is white. On Tusky the navigation bar is the same dark blue as the title bar.

I'm not sure if Android allows getting the color of the source app's navigation bar, but anything could be better than a pure white one especially when the title bar is put on the bottom. I suggest Firefox to use either 1. Same color as the title bar 2. A slightly darker version of title bar color.

1. When we press Home button in the app toolbar, It opens a new tab and sends the active tab in background instead of closing the tab. The correct working of Home button is to show Homepage in current tab. For opening new tab, we can use "New Tab" option. Because of this all tabs keep getting stored in background and it's quote irritating.

2. Same for back swipe gesture, the tab gets stored in background instead of closing. For example, I clicked on an Article in Google Feed, it redirects to Firefox, now after reading the article, I swiped back to go back to Google Feed. Now swiping back gesture doesn't close the active tab, instead it stored the tab in background. Because of this too much tabs gets stored in background and need manual effort to remove the tabs.

So, Fix these two features.

I used to be able to hold the back button down so I could see a short history for the current tab, and I'm not sure if it was an update or a bug, but does anyone know if it's possible to enable it in about:config? It's really useful when you're trying to go back but a redirect is preventing you.

Recently firefox for android mobile stopped allowing me to take screenshots. I get the error msg in the subject line when pressing the volume down and screen sleep/wake button. Is there a setting I can change?

So my problem is that User. Interface seems to not work when I go to a Website the UI Doesn't work also the texts have some kind of White texture And it's just annoying and I've been using Google Since And to some websites The screen Just goes White

I woke up and my Firefox address bar are in the bottom of my screen. I don't like it :( I'm on mobile, and especially with mobile sites there's so many features near the bottom, or something like the feature where you swipe down (from the top. because that is where the address bar is supposed to be) to refresh

I have disabled navigation toolbar as soon as it was turned on, as it wastes a significant amount of screen height to expose controls I need rarely enough I prefer them in the menu. Suddenly, pull to refresh has stopped working, unless I go and turn navigation toolbar back on in secret settings, which is frustrating, as I need it more without navigation toolbar and might in theory need it less if I was inclined to use navigation toolbar. Screenshots of corresponding settings pages, but I can't show a gesture not working in a screenshot.

Hi, I am using an Android phone with a 6.4" screen. I find it difficult to type in the search bar when it is at the top. Can I bring my search bar to the middle of the mobile screen?

merry christmas all ... in bookmarks why can't you organise them the way you want to ie: move them up or down in the order you want them... I can't find a way of doing it. and secondly on the homepage in the image I have uploaded why is there so much wasted space? and you can only have 2 rows of shortcuts. I am using the app on my phone and tablet which are both samsung galaxy phone is A34 5G and the tablet A8 thank you very much

I would like to request a feature for reading mode. If we could flip page like Kindle book, instead of page scroll, especially in reading mode, it will be great!

BTW I have chosen to use Mozilla Firefox instead of chrome because of this reading mode feature. Thank you for this great feature!

With version 124 of Firefox, the ‘Dark Mode’ theme no longer works. Whether I set the theme to “Use System Light/Dark Mode” or if I manually set the theme to dark, it still always shows ‘light’ mode. FYI, my iPad settings are set to ‘Dark’ mode.

I prefer to read white text on a black background - much easier on the eyes! In earlier releases of Firefox, I was able to enjoy reading stories. Now I must set my iPad (manually whenever I want to use Firefox to read) to ‘Smart Invert’ (which will switch the Firefox window to dark mode), then turn off ‘Smart Invert’ to do anything else on my iPad.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.
