Hi, starting with Thunderbird 126.b02 (al least) there are very heavy perfoming issues. Beyond crashes it takes approximatly 10 seconds to open a specific email. Moving to another account is much more difficult: taking itself a much of time it takes supplemental time to open the INBOX. Despite an Raphael on-dice-graphics I'm running a discrete Radeon RX 6700XT. HDD is far away from being over-lastet or running out of memory

For the last few weeks, when using Thunderbird on Windows and writing a draft email, when clicking on the button to create a link, the draft email window freezes. This also happens if I use the menu bar Insert -> Links...

All other Thunderbird windows remain functioning, and I can effectively continue working, but the frozen draft window will remain on screen until closed through Task Manager.

This only happens when creating a Link, not inserting other objects, like an Image. This problem also does not happen with Thunderbird on Ubuntu.

I am running version 115.10.1.

I have been using Firefox Developer Edition for many years without any problem. I sync Firefox on my different PCs, so they are basically all the same in setup. Unfortunately, Firefox now crashes constantly on my main PC. I have therefore temporarily switched to the default FF variant.

Of course I have tried all the steps shown here on the forum but without any result that I can see. Both in safe mode with or without addons. No matter FF crashed.

Hi, first the last update tried a few times over some days to install. Never got confirmation that it has been installed successfully. When I go to "About Firefox" I'm getting the information that I'm using the latest version.

Now I have problems, mainly when using facebook (especially when I try to play games through facebook) that Firefox uses enormous amounts of CPU and Memory. This does not happen all the time but at least in 70% of tries. I attached 2 screenshots

If this happens I'm not able to close Firefox the normal way but have to kill the process in the task manager.

Any quick help would be appreciated. I would also like to know if I'm the only one experiencing this or if it's a common problem.

Yesterday on my linux computer I noticed that my container setup ise back to the default setting. Now I'm using my windows laptop, and it is als back to the defaults. I'm afraid the same thing will happen when I start using my windows desktop. Should I poll the network cable and delete my firefox sync data, so I can hopefully save my containers setup? Or is this not going to help, and I'm fucked anyway :)

I recently migrated my hosting and I deleted the accounts on my Thunderbird client to set the new ones with the correct new Hosting.

The accounts are working correctly, but everytime I open Thunderbird, it shows me a login request from the old hosting service (which by the way, there is nothing there anymore, i deleted all the accounts and data).

I already uninstalled and reinstalled mozilla and tried to "fresh start" again, but this problem doesn't seem to go away.

Help is much appreciated!

I have firefox updates set to auto. But I want them to load updates when im not using the browser. What currently happens is I open the browser only to get shanghaid by the update process. I dont want that. when I open the browser I want to go straight to what i am doing. I dont want to have to sit there and wait while the browser updates. If it did updates once a month or less it wouldnt be such an issue but the damn browser is updating every few days or even every day and it always wants to do it when I want to do my own work. IS there not a way for the browser to update while im asleep at 3 am? When Im not wanting to use it. Its so irritating. It causes me to not bother with updates. I dont want to comply. When IM given a choice for any updating I set updates to install in the early hours when Im not inconvenienced by it. How can I do this with firefox?

Thru Firefox, I use Tineye to find related photos - I use it all the time, it's been great - I always use a VPN and have never had problems until now (as of yesterday). Now it won't search, a verify you're human window comes up, and I have to keep clicking squares, which I do - but then it says to allow cookies and start over. Well I don't want to allow cookies (I assume it's one of the options I have thru Firefox to block cookies), and I can't find where to allow cookies even if I did (I went to Firefox preferences etc) and I don't want to disable my VPN. Maybe I should mention that I just added or started a Mozilla account, as I have had immense trouble with my aol emails, and am trying to move everything over to a gmail account. My sign in to Firefox was the aol email, and I had to (try, I thought I did it) add another account, which I think I did successfully. So it was right after that, that all this started. Help please! Hi there, thanks for your attention I'm a web developer and new to using firefox. I was using chrome for years and now just because firefox on android let's us install add-on like it's desktop version I'm switching to firefox. as a developer I need to learn about the features firefox offers to developers or ask for any features that are missing right now, so my current issue is about the pictures I will attach. I want to have more information about the element that I'm inspecting right in the tool-tip over it for example it's active font-family or things like that. It took me sometime to figure out how to find the active font of the target element thanks to This post. but in chrome it's showed in the tool-tip.

My Firefox browser is somehow corrupted with foreign language features. See in the picture that much of the text is in English - the selected and preferred language. It is what the Settings are set to. But notice that bits and pieces are in some other language. I recently made a trip to Spain and used translation features while there - but those was all reset to English. I've gone into Troubleshooting mode; I've restarted; I've reset and restarted. But I can't seem to get rid of the gibberish. WTH!!!! All copies of Firefox, on all owned Mac machines (i-Phone; Mac Mini; I-Mac Pro; I pads) are set to English. About the only thing I haven't done it uninstall and reinstall Firefox. Thanks for any help you can offer.

I just lost several hundred tabs on Firefox mobile right after it updated itself. The most recent tabs show only ten of those tabs, which were all opened and closed today and aren't part of what I need to restore.

How do I get my tabs back? I've seen no 'restore previous session' option. My laptop only shows the few I have open now. What do I do to restore them?

So this problem keeps happening to me - I click "upload" on a website and nothing happens. For example, trying to upload photos to my website or upload files to a platform. Frustrating. To work around it I've been using a separate tab of Google chrome but it's such a pain to keep swapping back and forth. Please help!!

I've gone into "sort-by" and tried enabling threading. I've tried checking the unthreaded box. Group job related email still just disappears. I can't find received group email in the trash or in the junk. I can't find any evidence in Thunderbird that the group email was received. If I go to a different email tool, there it is. Thunderbird is broken. If I scroll back in time and accidentally scroll past the date of the first group email, there it is. I can't be spending all day scrolling through months to years worth of email just to find out I got a group email from someone today. This is totally unreliable way to find an urgent work email.

Hi. I have approximately 26 folders in gmail and 34 filters that sort messages from my inbox to the appropriate folder on the mail server. I am planning on rearranging the filters and would like to know if there is a preferred way to optimize them. For example, am I better off having individual filters (say from several health providers) that end up saving respective messages into a 'Health' folder OR should I have 1 filter that looks for each provider in turn (OR condition aka 'Match any of...' ) then moves them to the 'Health' folder.

Not worried about performance, but more wondering if one method is more efficient than another.

Also, I seem to recall seeing in the filter help pages that it is preferable to have local storage for filters as opposed to having the mail server sort them out. Why is that?

Hey folks, I've been noticing something peculiar with Firefox that's been bothering me lately. Whenever I try to watch videos on YouTube in resolutions above 1080p, they tend to randomly buffer. It's quite frustrating, especially when I know my internet connection is stable and other browsers don't seem to have this issue. Has anyone else experienced this problem with Firefox? And if so, do you have any tips or solutions to share? Thanks in advance for any insights!

I'm setting up TB for the first time with multiple email and calendar accounts. Some are gmail / google, and others o365.

The primary TB account's calendar doesn't seem to be syncing fully. It's an o365. account. But the email is working.

I added an event on my Outlook for Android on my phone. Its appearing in OWA, and in New Outlook on my computer (so it did sync from mobile Android device to server, and from server to my New Outlook on the Windows desktop). But its not appearing in TB.

Not sure what to check or what the issue might be.

Also, I'd love to replace Outlook Android on my mobile with what I think is K-9. But can't get the same account referenced here to connect to the outbound server.

Welcome any help, and appreciate you all doing this collaborative work.
