I can open the main

Etrade page but when I then click on anything else all I get is the hour glass which does not go away.  This is ANY other page I try to go to in Etrade.

I go to Edge and have no problems but I have used FF for many years and would like to continue doing so.

Hi, Today I discovered that firefox has logged me out of every site. I checked the cookies and there were cookies.sqlite and cookies.sqlite.bak. When I delete the newly created cookies.sqlite and rename cookies.sqlite.bak to cookies.sqlite, I am logged back in to all sites and everything works fine. I notice that the cookies.sqlite.bak file is created when I go to twitch.tv. Can I check what is causing this problem and fix it somehow? I've already tried deleting the cookies just from the twitch.tv site, but that doesn't help.

My computer updated with no warning one night, and i lost all personalization and even everything stored in my firefox, the sign ins, passwords, bookmarks, all. is there a way for me to find all that was erased?

I belong to a number of newsgroups where I save technical data from that is in the form of email. 1. How can I save messages, with header intact, to a text file as I could with Eudora? 2. When I start Thunderbird, what email is loaded into memory?

I'm at wits end. 1. I've been using TB for a very long time. Everything was working just fine until about a month ago. Now I don't receive email and can't send email. 2. I've tried working with my server provider (they say it's a TB issue). I've tried following several old responses - but have had no luck. So... 1. Did something change? 2. I would like to change the url border color when it has the focus to blue.

The code below works, except when you press Escape.

After hitting Escape, the urlbar still has the focus but its border changes back to gray. It should remain blue.

I would also like to remove the box-shadow after pressing Escape, when the urlbar is not expanded (to mimic the behavior of FF 88).

The url and search input fields also do the same goofy thing Windows 10 does - the cursor stops blinking after 5 blinks and remains frozen. Any way to remove that behavior and keep the cursor blinking? If not, no big deal, the other stuff above is more important.

Any code suggestions to get that behavior are welcome!

On my Tablet, the Bookmarks have decided to split into two folders :Bookmarks and Other Bookmarks. Not what I want. Is there any way that I can get them to combine to just Bookmarks?

I can't find a way to disable tabs scrolling. This is highly confusing, I have to always look for my tabs and do extra clicks and scrolling. This is very distracting. Also those two buttons - "<" & ">" - they occupy extra space. The left one is especially annoying because I expect a "+ new tab" button to be there. I don' want to test/use this new experimental feature, how can I turn this off? Thank you.

Hello, First post and could not find this surprisingly... I'm wondering what settings to use for windows 11 VPN section. i installed on my desktop but when i go to VPN settings in current win 11 it does not list a VPN. is this possible to use Mozilla VPN at OS level or is it only via ff browser?

I have downloaded the addon cardbook. Now, how do i find my old address books that existed prior to the addon? Please do not leave a single step out on how to migrate back or forward or what ever i have to do to get my old tb moved to the new cardbook tb supernova. Thank you.

So on my Legion laptop, Windows 11 Home, the bookmarks keep rearranging themselves, iv also noticed A LOT of duplicates and folders which I did not add. I rebooted the laptop then tried scanning the it with WindowsDefender and Malwarebytes, and refreshing the application. On my desktop which is synced, there is no issue. I thought I was seeing things at first until I focused right on the bookmark tool bar and every 10-20 seconds one will just pop into a new position. Will a fresh install work? That's my next step, but wanted to see if there is a better solution.

I am migrating to a new laptop. The new laptop keeps asking me for a primary password. I have never set one up. This issue doesn't happen on the old machine, only the new one. It also won't let me disable the pop-up that asks for the primary password. Please advise.

I have a common layout for folders. If I create a new folder, Thunderbird 115.10.1 (and previous versions) always uses a different layout. Sometimes I forget to change the layout and when opening the newly created folder I am confused. I find it also annoying to always apply my folder layout to the newly created folders.

Is there any method/setting to define/set the layout for new folders?

Within last 2 to 3 weeks I noticed that when I click Get Messages the momentary line of text at bottom-left typically says "there are no new messages", or the "number of messages" about to be downloaded. (This is not the notification window at lower right.) Recently the number of messages actually received is not always correct. For instance, this morning the message was clearly "downloading messages 3 of 3", but only one appeared as a new, unread message in my inbox. This has occurred several times, sometimes qty is correct, sometimes not. My first question is whether this is a bug in Thunderbird, or something I need to pursue with my email provider? Second question: I am only requesting those for my account, but might the "missing messages" be downloaded for my wife's email?

If missing messages are for my wife how do I fix it so I only download mine? She doesn't have admin rights and I made no changes to our account settings. If missing messages are not hers then I am seriously concerned about this issue.

Using Thunderbird on Linux I cannot delete any local folders, when I try to delete them I get more copies of the folders on reopening Thunderbird, after the system says it is "not responding" and I close it down. I have tried several times and now have multiple copies of the local folders I've tried to delete.

I am running Thunderbird on Linux Fedora. I have two accounts set up. One of them is an icloud account. Every day, many times per day, it prompts for password. I have a nightmare to get one for it due to the new way Apple deals with stuff like this. I have to get an 'App Specific Password', which involves logging in, which I hate doing and doesn't work because I use a VPN and Apple discriminates against VPN users and locks my account every time i login (even though it's the same IP address every time).

I did manage to generate one, which got rid of the problem for a day or two, then it came back, generated again, and so I go around, each time having to unlock icloud account, remove old password, generate a new one, paste it into TB and then its fine for a few hours/days.

Would be very grateful for any ideas why this is happening and how to cure it.
