Recently, when I type in the URL bar, there is only 1 suggestion from my bookmarks. Before, there were several bookmarks that show.

I want the previous behavior back so that I only need to type a few characters and then choose one of the suggested bookmarks in the list of results. Now, I need to keep typing a lot more characters/words before the 1 bookmark I want shows up. Sometimes I can’t recall enough of the full URL so the bookmark I want never shows up.

This is a big downgrade in the user experience. Is there a setting to go back to the previous behavior?

I have always been a Firefox user and all of a sudden I cannot get into my MS 365 Sharepoint if I am using Firefox, if I use Edge I can get into the accounts.

I want to use Firefox not big commercial browsers.

I've had no issues with Firefox Sync on desktop but frequent issues on Android.

Yesterday, it failed in a different way, announcing that I needed to sign into Sync. I've tried a dozen times yesterday and today using both QR scan and email confirmation. All fail in various ways. For example:

• After scanning QR code: "500 Error Oh dear, something went wrong there"
• After scanning QR code: "Pairing not successful. Error while creating the pairing channel"
• After scanning QR code and approving on mobile device and desktop, desktop says success, but phone stays on "Approval now required from your other device" Interestingly this page isn't open in the normal browser. If I click the three dot menu, it says "POWERED BY FIREFOX, Open in Firefox"

Any tips on getting Firefox Sync to work. I don't see any troubleshooting sections in the online help articles.

I have the Latest Thunderbird 115.10.2. I am running windows 11 pro 64-bit, 23H2 - OS build 22631.3447 I have run the latest downloads (KB5036980) My Mail server is run my Virgin Media. My email account Has 5 accounts, I seperately have an account with Fasthosts My wife has a gmail account and a company email for whom she works, So in total I have 8 seperate account from which I have set to download emails from. All my Thunderbird account ave been set up exatly the same with the exception of which servers they go to to down load emails. All accounts are required to automatically download every 4 mins, I have NOT ticked the - Leave meesages on server and both sub boxes - * so many days and - until i dele them all are unticked. The advanced box at the base of the Server Settings tab, is set to include this server (whiche ever of my accounts server it is) when downloading emails. My problem is that my web email for Virgin Media should receive all email for the 5 account I have with Virgin media. I have not set virgin media account to divert any emails. I was under the assumption that if Ive set up Thunderbird to download all my emails every 4 mins then nothing should be left on my web mail account, or so I thought. Due to my wife not receiving emails to her via 2 of her account, 1. Virgin media 2. her company email. So I wnet onto my web account with virgin media and to my horror i had 999+ in my inbox and had 500+ in the spam box. thinking this was the problem I set about deleting all the emails, 1st i emtied the spam folder in bulk delete. I then proceeded to delet one at a time just in cas i saw some that needed to be kept. The deleted email box hit 999+ minbox was still at 999+, cutting a long story shoert - I deleted of 8k emails, talk about sor index finger, and going cross eyed. My web mail inbox was now clear of emails, didnt last long, so by having my thunderbird open on one screen, I had the web maill account opebn on my 2nd screen. when email cam in some wer downloaded to thunderbird - some were not, even the ones that were down loaded stayed on the server and were not deleted. I checked every account in thyunderbird just to make sure i was not setting thing up correctly, I had. all the incomming mail has been for either me or my wife both accounts are with virgin media. Thunderbird downloaded only one of the emails to my inbox, it did not delet it from the webserver, no has the other 2 sent to me, the one for my wife, not her company email, is still stiing on the server and has not been downloaded. What is going on, its driving me crazy try to resolve a problem that I though I didn't have.

Well, since I changed to a new computer with Win 11, videos on Facebook don't play right. They are videos that are posted by various people and real entities. They are not smooth. They start to play and immediately pause then jump forward then pause and jump forward. If I copy the link and go to Chrome, paste the link and play the videos, they are normal Never did that on my old computer. Any ideas why the videos don't play normal?

Can't log in to Regions Bank Account. Message: "We can’t locate that page right now." after typing in password Works fine on other browsers.

Problem started Maybe around mid April. Have 5 computers: 2 running Windows 10, 2 running Windows 7 Professional, 1 running Linux

Hi,

I have a user who sends me an email to one of my email addresses and it always ends up in the Junk folder. I've repeatedly marked his emails as not junk but that doesn't seem to change anything.

Is there anything I can look at that will help me figure out why it happens, and hopefully find a way to fix it.

I'm on Betterbird in case that matters. I looked thru the release notes and there seems to be nothing tagged with the junk filter.

I noticed this in the X-Proofpoint-Spam-Details email headers: mlxlogscore=764 clxscore=1015

This person seems to be the only person that has this information in their headers. Is it added by the junk filter? Or is it something on the sender's side (he uses an icloud.com and a me.com address)?

I've followed all the recommendations. Problem still happens in troubleshooting mode as well. Doesn't allow sign in either. Have reloaded all C++, uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted. No links or pages will open.

My sent messages are not being saved-error message says current command did not succeed. The mail server for plvltodd@cox.net responded TRYCREATE mailbox doesn't exist Sent .001 + .000secs

hello when i write many cell code in google colab and then run all of them when output there and i want to scroll up from last cell code to go to top of page,i have lagging for scroll up in that and this problem just in firefox and in chrome is'nt problem thanks

I've noticed that when logging into various websites, a random email address not known to me appears in autofill among my usual email addresses. This unfamiliar address is under the @shanreto.com domain and shows up across different websites. My Firefox account is synced between my PC and mobile phone. Both devices are password-protected and under my control at all times, and I have only installed uBlock Origin as an extension.

Could there be any explanation other than the possibility of someone accessing one of my devices through malicious software or similar means?

bold textExperienced Firefox browser session freezes a month or two ago. It seemed that some March/April '24 fixes/patches stabilized the app. They are occurring again with increased frequency. What should I do to avoid this problem or switching to another browser? Thx

My "recovery.jsonlz4" file from a previous install will not reopen my previous session (tabs) after the new installation.

Before deleting my previous installation of Firefox (for a clean install), I did two things: I created a restore point, and I did a backup of my old data.

The data consists of: bookmarks-2024-05-10.json

These folders: C:\Users\[machinename]\AppData\Local C:\Users\[machinename]\AppData\Roaming C:\Computer Files\Mozilla Firefox\distribution C:\Program Data\Mozilla-1de4eexxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

Within "Roaming" I have Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default-release\sessionstore-backups

In that sessionstore-backup, I have a "recovery.baklz4" (most recent session, I'm guessing) and three others that look like "upgrade.jsonlz4-2024xxxxxxxxxxx

With Firefox closed, I took a copy of "recovery.baklz4" (745 KB) and pasted it into the current sessionstore-backups file, then I changed the file to "recovery.jsonlz4".

I thought that when I reopened Firefox, my previous tabs would appear. They didn't. So, I went to the menu, then to History, and clicked on Recover Previous Session. That didn't do anything either. And it reduced the size of the *.jsonlz4 file from 745 KB to 6 KB.

I'm not sure what I've done wrong. Can you help me out?

When I watch a video not in the full screen mod, the colors are as dark as they're supposed to be (pic 1), but when I enter the full screen mod, the video gets pale/brigher (pic2, compare the dark zones). it's fully connected with hardware acceleration. When it's on videos get pale and when it's off they don't. But I can't turn it off because I also need it for an addon I use as it won't work without it. Someone on the forum here said that turning on layers.force-active might help with a bug of hardware acceleration. I turned it on and it helped - acceleration was on and videos didn't get pale, but then everything got back and now this setting doesn't work anymore. I also opened trouble shooting mode and videos didn't get pale with it even with acceleration on, but I don't know why, becaues when I closed it I deleted all the extensions, turned on acceleration and videos got pale again. And, this problem is only in this browser. This problem really keeps my up at night and I'm so tired of it

This seems to be caused by Firefox. I don't have this problem with Edge, Chrome or Opera
