My add-on theme reverts back to default after restarting FireFox V.66
After restarting FireFox, my add-on theme (Purple Glow Gradient) changes back to the default. How can I make my selected theme stick?

Ever since I updated my adobe flash player Firefox keeps changing the default search engine to Bing. I go in to preferences and change back to Google but it repeatedly defaults back to Bing. Any suggestions?
I posted a question, but don't know how to find where my question posted or where to find answers to my question.
I asked a question about settings but don't know where it ended up or how to find any answers I receive.
About half the time I click the back arrow, it sends me back two previous pages instead of one.
I've posted about this problem before, and no one offered a solution.

Open the Scratchpad, switch to Browser context, and run Services.prefs.getDefaultBranch(null).setCharPref("app.update.url", "http://10.0.80.51/update/update.xml").

The app.update.url entry has changed to the right one. After the browser restart, however, he returned the original. Firefox is still one of the original update servers.

Hi there, I was wondering if it would be possible to add an option to change the function of {ctrl+1}, {ctrl+2} etc to make it instead of going to the first and second tab, it goes to the first, then 2/9th, then 3/9th tab etc. I am aware that {ctrl+9} goes to the last tab but being able to navigate through the middle section would be a nice feature to have that could be turned on in the options section. Thanks. :)

officials confiscated my fast PC leaving me with a old system with following specs:
Intel Core i3-3220 (2 cores with 3,3 Ghz), Windows 10 latest version x64, 4 GB RAM, relativ new Samsung SSD, NVIDIA GT 1030 with drivers not updated in a while.
I have bad memory but I think I have this PC about 4 months and this Firefox problem since 2 months, could be totally different because I have really bad memory.
I thought it might be a extension or a setting so I started with a new profile, unfortunatelly it didn't help.
I think tab switching very often is over 3 seconds, doesn't matter much if there 5 or 15 tabs open, I use Firefox since 2002, recommended it to many people and never had such a big problem like this before.

If there are two tabs and the second tab opens on clicking a button in first tab.The second tab if already open does't get focus.
On clicking a button open a new tab and if the tab is already open then on clicking the button again the opened tab should get focus but it doesn't get focus.

3) when I try to run /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -P The error message back /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin: Operation not permitted
4) When I trash can the firefox application and reinstall firefox - get the same error message as step 1
5) when I renamed Policies folder and then start firefox same error message as in item 1 above
6) when I trash can the firefox application with profile folder rename - and install firefox same as item 1
7) when I ran step 3 - the profile manger gui came up - then went away. when I ran step 3 again- I get the error in step 3
Please advise my options - I have bookmarks and security information I need to access - I made a copy of the Profiles folder before I started this process.
