I'm just reinstall my windows 8. But, i don't know why the firefox appearance are weird and difficult to used because of the appearance. What should i do? Nb: It looks normal on "troubleshoot mode".

The last two upgrades caused me to lose all of my bookmarks. I am running version 106.0.2 on a 64 bit hp desktop. Am I doing something wrong? Pretty basic download/upgrade. I am no longer taking upgrades until I can get answer(s)

in the autoplay box in settings my allow camera and microphone is showing but there is nothing typed in the box e.g. facebook. how do i get facebook typed in there because when i use facetime on facebook, i cannot hear or see anyone even though both my camera and microphone are on

Lately I've noticed that the longer I use my Firefox browser during the day the more memory it uses up. If let alone it eventually takes up so much computer memory that everything on my computer slows to a crawl and I have to either exit Firefox or even reboot. Is there any way to stop this? I'm wondering if there are any Firefox features or add-ons that I can do without. I'm not looking for anything elaborate out of Firefox, just basic internet usage.

Few days after installing a strange border started appearing around the app unless I'm in full screen which I don't like to use. What's happening and how can I stop this?

hello, I wrote to you telling you that when i facetime on facebook i cannot see or hear anyone and you answered me to try this or that. you said to go into permissions and make sure that my camera and microphone had facebook to have permission and when i facetime to go into permissions there and click off the use default button and click allow or always ask. i have already done this and still have the problem. well I know what is happening and it is your fault firefox. when my sister, who is sitting next to me rings me on facetime (and was helping try to fix this problem) and it still didn't work, while she just kept the facetime open, she watched me go into the permission box again on the padlock page, the settings i put ALLOW were gone and the use default box was ticked again. so this time i put always ask. and came back out of the permissions page and then went straight back in, and guess what.....every time i leave the permissions page, it goes back to use default. MY SETTINGS ARE NOT BEING SAVED. THERE IS NO SAVE BUTTON BECAUSE YOU REMOVED IT. I MAKE A SETTING, COME OUT OF THE PAGE AND IT IMMEDIATELY REMOVES MY SETTINGS. YOU NEED TO FIX THIS BECAUSE NOTHING IS WORKING BECAUSE IT CONTINOUSLY GOES BACK TO DEFAULT. IF YOU DO NOT FIX THIS ASAP I AM SHUTTING YOU DOWN AND GOING TO BING AS MY BROWSER

DO YOU SEE THE INFORMATION ATTACHED? It is WRONG and has been WRONG for months and months, but no one wants to address the issue. Most of you simply IGNORE this information and I'm guessing you don't know how to correct it.

First of all, I DO NOT have Windows 8, I've never had Windows 8 or any derivation of Windows 8 on this PC or any other ELECTRONIC device I have now or in the past, EVER! One day I turned on my PC checked for updates and to my HORROR this is what I found.

The latest information you have assigned to me is THUNDERBIRD, DON'T know what it is or why I have it listed as something I use, I Don't.

Firefox is the WORST browser I have EVER used. Whenever I have a problem you respond with some ridiculous IT jargon and I'm supposed to fix it and there are so many problems I can't even begin to count them. YOU EXPECT EVERYONE to know how to program, understand programming jargon, and simply fix YOUR problems. What you need is a SUPPORT phone number for those of us who are not as SMART as you. Yeah, yeah I know your all volunteers, MAYBE it's time you hired people who know what they are doing and can speak to people in a language that is UNDERSTANDABLE to most of us in the REAL WORLD!!!!!!

Fix this problem. I want it fixed, not by ME by YOU folks at Firefox before I transfer all of my files to my new PC.

OH, I know EXACTLY what your response is going to be; You're going to waste my time with a million questions that have NOTHING to do with anything, then you'll want me to try this or that or the other thing while you CROSS YOUR FINGERS and hope that I can fix it! GET with the program and figure out HOW TO SERVE regular everyday people who use your product. I've read too many articles about problems that you continue to have without resolution, and the numbers of people leaving FIREFOX.

I WOULD HAVE to say, YOU HAVE A PROBLEM! I don't care if you use volunteers or not, what I care about is communication that makes sense to me, NOT to you. When I read your articles that are supposed to CLEAR up the issue and then you name those volunteers who wrote the article, am I impressed? Only in the sense of the stupidity of your idea of HELP!

STOP WITH YOUR educated guesses about my BROWSER, this is just another way of AVOIDANCE FOR YOU! If NO ONE in your organization will even address this issue you couldn't possibly know ANYTHING!

Terry, thanks for writing me but I even have problems when I only use a couple tabs and I rarely use Facebook or Reddit. Yet even with limited use of Firefox it inevitably expands and expands using up more and more memory until I have to exit Firefox. Is there anything I can do to limit Firefox?

how can i change text color for downloaded themes  ? as the photo this recommended theme wold be better if i can change colors of the text on tabs.. couldn't find a recommended extensions to do this job

So a while ago I opened firefox on my computer and noticed all my bookmarks were dead (they had the globe and wouldn't go anywhere when clicked), I thought 'weird' and didn't do anything at the time because it wasn't what I was busy with at the time. Then, recently, I open firefox and my bookmarks are linked wrong. Like, I have Netflix bookmarked, it says Netflix, it has been netflix for as long as I have used Firefox, but if I click on it, it takes me to an article I read weeks ago at this point -one I did not bookmark or even view repeatedly. In some of my folders all of the bookmarks are missing, like they aren't dead, they're just gone.

But if I go to my ipad firefox and access my desktop bookmarks from that sync -which I literally just re-synced today- I have all my bookmarks. All of them exist, the links are fine, they're there. But I have tried refreshing Firefox, uninstalling and reinstalling it, restarting my computer, logging out of my account, removing all my extensions, everything I can think of and! Nothing!

Also, if I try to restore my bookmarks from an older file, it does nothing. Or it will say it can't access them.

I don't know what's going on. I know if I wanted to I could go through and re-bookmark them all because I do have access to all of them on my ipad, but I mostly want to know if there is a way to fix it on my desktop or even figure out what happened. I can't remember anything happening around the time with my browser. Any help is much appreciated!

UPDATE I reinstalled Windows - "downgrading" to Windows 10 - same problem; videos of any sort from any source did not play in Firefox, sound or anything.

Firefox now plays videos after navigating to the .exe file, turning on "Windows Compatibility Mode", and setting it to Windows 8.

Not exactly sure why but the browser is no longer working for my banking. I first noticed it a week ago when I tried to log in and then ended up calling the bank tech support. They told me to use google chrome instead. I have been using Firefox for years and never had a problem. After researching for latest update changes, I tried changing the settings to allow cookies for the session for the bank but this did not work either. Any idea why this is happening? Thank you. Firefox fully updated for fully updated Windows 10 21H2 on HP Envy, 16 GB ram, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz. Only trouble known is that suddenly FF would not operate the Ancestry.com properly after years of everything operating just fine there. Finally swapped browsers to Chrome. That works 100% ok. My problem is that I want to use Firefox not Chrome.
