Hi -- I hope someone can help with this recent problem that has cropped up. Videos that are supposed to be autostart, such as news stories embedded on pages of news sites or video feeding into a side panel on a college sports site I frequent are just continually in buffer mode with the little spin icon in the middle of the screen. This also happens with some, but not all, YouTube videos.

This is a recent development and I didn't do anything to change my setup. I did try updating to make sure I have the most recent version of Firefox, so that's been accounted for. If I close out Firefox and come back to it after a couple of minutes, the problem is cleared, but it only lasts a little while before it begins once again.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Can't get to Google apps from google home page. Dots for Google apps not there. Only way they appear is to search for something. Otherwise you can't get to apps (no nine dots) or even sign in to google. Nosigh-in box either on first open of browser. Thanks for the help.

The last couple of days, Firefox opens in a three-quarter screen size window. I don't want "full-screen" mode but I do want the window to take up my whole desktop when I'm using it. There are no buttons to maximise or minimise and no dragging arrows when I hover over the edges. I don't know why this is happening all of a sudden. How do I fix it please?

My Firefox browser (119.0 Windows 64-bit) is at "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" and always starts with the message "Hmm. That address doesn’t look right. Please check that the URL is correct and try again." What is Firefox trying to do?

Hi, I'm using some typical browser extensions (lastpass, HTTPS Everywhere, Privacy Badger, etc.), but all of buttons stopped operating. When I click them, nothing happens, clicking just makes the icon be shaded like it's pressed. I tried updating the browser, signing out&in, removing, loading and enabling them again. Nothing works. Most frustrating is the lastpass extension, as I actually use it almost daily.

Also I assume that one can't contact mozilla directly about these bugs/issues, only this community chat?

I was looking for tickets on site for hockey using firefox but I get Sorry, Your Session Expired to start again, please return to the previous page/tab and re-click the link (refreshing this page might not work). I go back and then go again to the site and it still comes up with that message. However, it works in Microsoft Edge without any problems. Any reason for this?

Firefox displays text in a garbled, unreadable fashion. HP desktop, 64-bit Windows. This is why I stopped using FireFox years ago; I wanted to see if it had improved. Is there a solution? See attached PAINT file of screen image.

My Firefox disappeared after an update on Windows 7. After a check I found out that Windows 7 is not supported anymore. The folder is still there in the programs (see pic). Can I restore my favourites somehow?

When I want to do a google search, it will only do an amazon search. So if I am asking a tax question, it brings up amazon products to buy. I can't search anything. Very frustrated.

I would like my Mozilla Firefox bookmarks to stay on the left side and my bookmark toolbar on the right side (just like it used to be). Now both Bookmark toolbar and Mozilla Firefox bookmarks are on the left side , and I can't even search a Mozilla Firefox bookmark using the search window.

I have followed instructions, installed the new Mozilla and, when trying to use it, I get a message to search with google or enter address. Then, I am told that the "browser has crashed . . just tell it to restart" . . . repeatedly Is it not compatible with a Lenovo laptop? Gail Whitaker

I seem to not be able to access the website for my local oil company https://fegleyoil.com/ even though I have been able to do so multiple times over the past few years. I have checked every Firefox setting but am still unable to load their site to order oil. I have successfully been able to load their site not only on my smartphone but also on my work PC. I need to know how to fix this. Please advise and many thanks in advance for any assistance. BTW, it also doesn't load on my home PC in Firefox, Edge or Chrome but again loads just fine on my phone and work PC and my home PC VPN is turned off when I try to access this site and I have it added to my Firefox exceptions to be allowed.

Until recently, when I entered a search request, I only received sponsored links which covered part of the screen. However now the list of sponsored links has grown so much that I am having to scroll through several screen pages before getting to the lings to the actual websites that I am looking for.

The number of sponsored links has grown out of all proportion and means that I am waisting a lot of time scrolling through items that are of no interest to me whatsoever. As an example, I recently made an enquiry about a medical condition and an Amazon sponsored links offered me a good deal on selling me that same medical condition!!!!

How can I or Mozilla reduce the high level of sponsored links. If it cannot be done then I will need to move to another browser.

in our organization we use your program, but we recently noticed that the updates removed the option for vertical and horizontal printing from the printing menu, and the problem was solved by communicating with the support team. We added lines of code layout.css.page-size and we convert from true to false, but in the new update 119 we noticed This code has been deleted from your program's library The options for vertical or horizontal printing in any form no longer appear

Why??

How can we solve this problem other than downloading the Esr version We want to keep up with updates with you without any printing glitches

When pressing the up arrow key with text in the URL bar, the bottom suggestion is selected, rather than returning the text cursor to the beginning. It used to place the insertion point at the very beginning of whatever text was in there, and then another up arrow press would select the bottom suggestion, but now it instantly wraps to the very bottom selection. It's quite frustrating when trying to modify a search query - now you either have to hold the left arrow key, or accurately click with the mouse

For instance, say I type "cloud" in the URL box, but figure "storm cloud" would be a better search. I can't just press the up arrow to add "storm ", because pressing the up arrow once now just replaces the entire line of text with "https://soundcloud.com/", completely ruining my search. I'm pretty sure this was recently changed with an update. Is there any hope of changing it back?
