It has reinstalled all my other extentions, but hasn't my password manager for some reason. Or at least I can't find it. I also can't remember the name of it, and so don't know what to search to download it again. Is there a way to see historic extentions or something?

I've tried to login to Falcon using my usual Firefox browser and it's struggling to load and just whirling around.

It was working fine before Christmas, so has been an update from Mozilla that's causing an issue and do you have any recommended fixes.

My Dell Laptop INSPIRON 3793 running the Firefox/Mozilla Browser when I stream in Youtube or LiveNews periodically goes into the images in the photos I uploaded here. I am compelled to do a hard restart. I have been working with Dell Technical Services and they indicate they have no history of this issue. I am running Windows 10. My system has all technical updates including current drivers . I really do NOT want to move off FireFox but I getting pressure to run another Browser and wait and see if the problem surfaces. Is there any history of this issue with this Firefox. Any help or insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Cate Brown

I use mozilla firefox as my main web browser, and youtube sometimes does sometimes doesn't load (picture below). This happens only on firefox. Every other website works fine tho.

I have many webpages open in many browsers and tabs. From time to time, FF locks up, and then the PC locks up, and the only way to resolve it, is to restart (eg: reboot) the PC.

Im trying to use 192.168.1.131 to acess a netgear wireless point the Firefox is stopping me from going to this legit site I have turned everything off and still no luck I keep getting a non trust certificate Blaine

I recently upgraded my hardware and wiped my old drive, and I assumed I would be able to login through google directly and just recover my bookmarks that way. However, I can ONLY get in through a password (that I KNOW, but maybe its a character off, its driving me crazy) to recover my bookmarks despite being able to login to mozilla using my main email; which I have access to. I havent reset my password yet, so my bookmarks are probably still uploaded there. Very frustrating I was never notified that they changed it so that if you reset your password you lose your bookmarks, otherwise I would've written down this password. I've been collecting these bookmarks for years before this. is there a way to recover it through my gmail login?

I am using Firefox with synchronisation mainly on 2 PCs and 1 iPhone (there are old iPhone and 1 raspberry Pi connected, but not used). I have noticed that at least for a few months Firefox password library on iPhone was missing some password I needed, but I could always look them up on either PC without problem. Usually i tried to fix this by manualy synchronizing Firefox on iPhone in settings, it always showed that it is synchronized. Today I have discovered that i have only 19 passwords saved on my PC - same as on iPhone, but yesterday there were much more (probably all, but I can not be certain). Oldest one was created on 30. 10. 2023. All other are gone, I have managed to restore some old passwords (cca 370) from october 2021. I have disconnected internet and WiFi, placed old logins.json and key4.db in current profile, opened firefox and exported them. Once internet is restored, all passwords are deleted again, only those 19 recently created stay.

I did not delete any passwords or logins or anything on any device and did not delete any file or firefox profile. Why did it delete passwords without asking? And how can I prevent this from repeating? Because this is unusable password manager that randomly decides to purge login data from time to time.

I use a password manager. Many of the web-based services I subscribe to use my email address as my user name - this is quite common.

When I am trying to login to one of these pages, your "Let Firefox hide your email address" message pops up over the selection box from my password manager. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to remove your message - which, in this context is totally inappropriate - but your message prevents me from logging in to my account when I need to choose between identities (example, work and personal).

Can I turn these messages off? or can you add a simple "X" to the window so I can close it without that action being picked up by my password manager?

Now what I have noted is that this is causing the pages to load slow. Only ublock extension is installed, tried all dns settings but the result is the same. Is anyone facing the same?

What to do now?

It seems like more often lately that in the past. I just tried to post on the Portableapps website, and had all sorts of problems there.

I had to use Chrome to post. Actually, when I went first opened the page in Chrome, I got an alert that six trackers were found, and did i want to disable them.

Perhaps that relates to Firefox and accounts for some of the bad behavior?

I'm getting tired of this. There must be a happy medium between security and unencumbered usage.

Maybe it's one of my apps, i.e. Canvasblocker. It has a ton of settings options, and I don't have a clue what to do with them. Aside from that and Ublock, I don't see any others that fit that category.

Maybe it's something in my browser settings?

Hi, I'm in a little bit of a chock... Firefox updated and recommended me to use a new profile. Sadly I chose that option and now I've lost all my previous settings. Panic! Is there ANY way I could get my saved passwords and favorites back from the previous install?!

I have been using Firefox Mozilla for many years. This morning it opened up fine. Then this afternoon (Dec 7, 2023) it would not open for me and when I try to open a new tab it says that it crashed.

I looked and I do have Firefox as my start up browser in my settings. Thank you for any advice on getting back to my favorite browser.

Here is a rather long winded explanation of my problem initially prepared for an email to Firefox until I found out that was not a possibility. Hello Agent, I have a problem with Firefox described as follows: I have an account with a company called Eversfield Organic an organic meat company. They have a facility whereby the delivered cold packs and insulating material can be returned to them via DPD free of charge. To achieve this a form has to be completed on Eversfields site to enable a returns label to be printed. When attempting to complete this form one line of this form will not accept an input. This item is called the “Country” which should read “United Kingdom”. I cannot input this manually or by my password manager “RoboForm” which temporary inputs United Kingdom until I release the mouse button when it goes blank again. I have tried the Google Chrome and Opera browsers which work perfectly using this system. So logically it would appear that there is a fault with Firefox which is a shame since it is my preferred browser. It would be appreciated if you can provide a solution to this problem.
