I just reset my password because I had forgotten it and I found out none of my other passwords are saved :(. In the description it said that data is encrypted and there MAY be some losses.. but is it possible that all is lost?

Since I agreed to a Foxfire upgrade ~5-11-23, I can't open Foxfire. I get this message "Error: Platform Version 113.0 is not compatible with minVersion >= 113.0.1 or maxVersion <=113.0.1".

Please help, I have a lot stored on Foxfire.

I use both Firefox & DuckDuckGo on Windows (& Android) and love 'em both.

HOWEVER, one thing really irritates. Often, a search will throw up websites labelled as "ad" (advert presumably). Sometimes I'd actually like to be able to LOOK at one or more of these, but Firefox refuses to open it/them!

Is it possible to stop this or turn it off?! If so, how? I would mention that I do use adblockers for both YouTube (which are fantasic but I thought only apply to YouTube?) and DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials but can't see how they would block the opening of "ad" websites.

Have version 113.0.1 (64 bit) on Win 10

After an update from mozilla my credit union statements would not open or save. They do open on MIcrosoft Edge. There are other sites that open pdfs correctly with Firefox. The Credit Union IT said The government is requiring them to be more secure and they recommend I change browsers which I do not want to. There is no apparent error code or message. Just searching for a solution.

I just brought a 3070... played with it and 2 days later (today) i was watching a movie and the screen turned black. Reinstalled windows, because it keeped happening.... found it that it seems to be the GPU died after 4 days for no reason at all (so i'm not in the best mood right now).

After reinstalling windows and installing firefox i notced that my bookmarks from my profile are gone and no matter what i do they seem to be gone.

This is really confusing to me, because last time i had to reinstall windows firefox loaded my bookmarks and even autoinstalled the addons that i had "in my account".

What happened? Why is everything gone? Not only did by new GPU chose to die on a saturday night... i just also seem to have lost my bookmarks of the last 8 years (some of them i do really need).

At first i thought that i have to select something to import the bookmarks, but since even my addons are gone i wonder where it all went.

I have installed Firefox recently after migrating from Opera GX and I noticed I cannot control Twitter videos volume, only mute. I already tried to reinstall, tried with Troubleshoot Mode and I can't fix this. Is there a way to fix?

I am trying to figure out why my Firefox tabs keep crashing every few minutes. I have reinstalled Firefox and I am still getting the same issue. Please let me know if there is any solution.

In youtube videos, creators will say "click the link above" and point and often there will be links on screen during a video for related content, aka annotations. They simply don't exist in firefox. I can't click or even see them. I opened YT in chrome and the annotations all pop up and are clickable. Annotations are turned on I've cleared cookies to no avail. Please advise.

There are two different Firefox icons for saved internet pages on my computer. I am running Windows 10. One type opens normally in a new tab. The other causes all my bookmarks and home page personalised settings to be lost. If Firefox is already open, the bad one complains that Firefox is already running. I know how to recover the lost bookmarks and settings. How can I make the bad ones open like good ones? If I try to remotely open a good one resident on my wife's computer, it behaves like a bad one but it opens normally on her computer (Win 10 laptop).

While viewing a page I press ctrl-d to save a bookmark. I want to customize the name of the bookmark based on information on the page, but the popup panel obscures the information I want and my mental capacity is deficient to remember the details I want to use. How can I move the panel position to reveal what is underneath?

Had the line

.tab-close-button:not([pinned="true"]) { display: -moz-box !important; }

in my userchrome.css which put the close button on all tabs. This no longer works.

Also there is no Close Button (X) on hover for inactive tabs.

I use the userChrome.css file to take the search bar from the bottom of the screen and have it float. Here's the instruction that I use ... .browserContainer > findbar {-moz-box-ordinal-group: 0; position: fixed !important; }. Firefox 107 has made that .css instruction non-executable. If I text out the instruction I now get the search box at the bottom of the screen. I want it back to a floating search box. Is there a fix in 107 so I can use my .css file or is there another way to get the search box floating. Regards

I cannot install the Keeper extension for firefox on version 113.0.1. I get an error "Download failed. check your connection". I have successfully installed the extension on other browsers on the same desktop computer, and on Firefox earlier versions on other computers at home.

I downloaded my bookmarks from my Desktop. I emailed the file to my laptop. How do I integrate this new .html file into my laptop? When I open the .html file, it comes up with a very nice list of my websites by name and they show as a link. Now I need to get them from the .html file and merged into the laptop. Can anyone point me toward the right help files on Firefox or tell me how to do it? Thanks a lot in advance. Mark

Having downloaded the extension , see attached image , I get , when trying to install the error message as in the second image .

Is there a way to ensure size & shape of page remains the same from session to session? I use my TV as a monitor and every time I open Firefox I have to manually reshape the browser to fit the screen. I'd love for it to come up the same each time.
