Hello,

I have tried many times to import my passwords from Chrome and from my desktop Firefox, using synchronising, to this laptop, and it has continually failed to happen. My Tabs and Bookmarks, for example, have all been successfully imported.

I want to make Firefox my default browser but cannot do this without successfully importing my passwords.

Please let me know what I should do next.

Are you able to take control of my laptop remotely and resolve the problem? If so, please let me know the times and days when you can do this, so that I can make an appointment, stating which time zone you are in as I am in England.

I changed my PC. Then i installed Firefox my new PC and login Firefox account. But my old PC's Firefox account all data will de deleted history passwords etc. It was looks like a new account. How can i restore my old data. My old PC was already formatted.

Dear Mozilla

Long time user (love it) but the browser is consuming a lot of memory. With the same windows open in Chrome, Firefox is consuming 5 times the amount making the system slower glitchy.

This has been an issue for awhile and I checked all the posted solutions. Either the software is consuming an that is normal or something is running in the background. Firefox is at 1831.5 MB as I type this.

Can I uninstall then reinstall? or is everything going to return?

4 PM, November 7, 2023 EST. The "About" page of all YouTube channels suddenly disappeared, whatever the the login status. A compressed version will show up from a channel's home page when clicking on the site description from its Home page. Make things weirder, ~6:15 PM it WAS visible from the Tor browser but started acting the same. I have no ad blockers, or ANY extension installed on any apps, including Firefox/TOR browsers. Updates to both browsers were made prior to this behavior. It may be Google/YouTube's fault but it's becoming frustrating because I prefer Mozilla's browsers over Edge or Chrome.

In error, I answered 'yes' to save an entry on a site to be my new login ID & pswd for that site. I want to get back to my original login ID & pswd. They told me I need to call my Browser FireFox to "get rid of my pre-saved login id & pswd". How do I do that? jerrybrown411@gmail.com

My current install of Firefox seems to be corrupted, because every time i try starting firefox, even in safe mode, it says "Could not load XPCOM". So my only option now is to reinstall, but i have some password and my search history and bookmarks and generall data to backup. So my question is how can i do this. Im on a Windows 10 22H2 Machine, and i am a pretty expirienced computer user.

My LastPass extension appears as a black box with an elipse. It is red when it is active. I have logged in to LastPass, and when I go to the extensions icon and select "Open Extension" nothing happens. It's not filling in any of my login information.

my electronic health record is freezing using Firefox on 2 different computers in 2 different locations. Internet speed 45 mbps at 1 location and 900 mbps at another. Able to use it on chrome.

Firefox is running x 8 in my task manager at the moment. Why does it keep multiplying and slowing down my computer? I am almost ready to uninstall Firefox. If I merely need to revert to an earlier version of Firefox, please let me know how to do that. Thank you. Shannon

Recently Youtube refuses to play any videos for me, saying adblockers are against their rules. I have uninstalled Adblock, and reset firefox totally. Youtube is still blocking me. It works fine on Chrome. Do I have to switch to Chrome permanently?

I'm not sure what happened because it never broke sites like this before. Sometimes it makes a site impossible to read. I haven't done anything to the browser and this just started happening.

I recently took a hit from potential malware while looking for a owners manual. I now have a popup that looks like the one attached. It looks to be from Mozilla, but I can't be sure. Can you help with this?
