Mobile sites have always sucked. We can try and argue about it, but the fact is they are horrible.
If they are not trying to force an app down my throat, they are convoluted, buggy or lack functionality.
And then half the time when you use the "Switch to desktop" toggle, it loads a version of that same site as if a desktop opened the mobile version of that site, then you have to go into the URL, remove the little m in front of the URL, and hope the rest of the URL still points you to the right place.
Don't get me wrong, mobile sites have come a long way. But why do we still have them?
The screen on my phone has more pixels than my desktop. And with the distance I hold it from my face is bigger than my TV.
TL;DR
Is there any chance that we can have an option that "Switch to desktop" is just always on?
