I use the Firefox app for Android on a regular basis.

For a long time I have found one unpleasant problem with tabs, when I open a new tab and notice that the remaining 107 old tabs are open, I cannot close all tabs except the current one. I can close all tabs, but the current one will close too. Sometimes I have to look for a link in the browsing history after that, it can takes several minutes. It would be convenient, in addition to the inactive tabs section, to be able to simply close everything except the current one.

Maybe there is already such a function without using third-party mods on Firefox?

I had to delete Firefox on my iPhone because links in emails wouldn't open anymore. Yes, it was set for default.

When I re-installed it, the tabs don't close. I hit the X to make a webpage go away and open a new tab. Hit that X when I'm through. Then close an empty Firefox on my phone.

When I reopen Firefox, I get all these little miniature webpages of the tabs I closed. I don't want them. I closed them because I was through. You guys are wasting my time making me close them again and again ...

Please tell me how to set Firefox on my iPhone so that when I open it I get my homepage with shortcuts I have chosen and nothing else.

Facebook used to be stable so while I was writing something, I could open other tabs to research things and go back to facebook and pick up where I was. SOMETHING HAPPENED some months ago, maybe a year (more?) and now I only have a short window to return BEFORE THE TAB REFRESHES and FLUSHES WHAT I WAS WORKING ON, DOWN THE TOILET! Is FACEBOOK OR MOZILLA DOING THIS AND CAN IT BE STOPPED!!!!

I'm trying to configure Firefox not to switch from the current tab, when I open multiple bookmarks by either middle click bookmark folder or right click the bookmark folder and select Open All Bookmarks. I've already set about:config browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground True browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground True browser.tabs.loadInBackground True

If I'm browsing a page, and then decide to open several bookmarks that are in a bookmark folder, either via middle click or right click->Open All Bookmarks, Firefox will still switch to the first open bookmark.

I've tried Shift+Middle click and this one opens the bookmarks, without switching from the current tab. And Ctrl+Shift+right click->Open All Bookmarks and this one opens the bookmarks, without switching from the current tab.

So how do I configure Firefox to just use middle click on a bookmark folder, and then not have it switch to the first open bookmark? Thank you!

Recently on my older iPad (5th generation) whenever I do an image search and click on a highlighted image (any highlighted image) or the corresponding thumbnail link, doing so always and only results in a blank page. If however, I choose the option to open the image in a new tab, then and only then does the search go to the desired site. All the other search options seem to work fine.

I have cleared my caches and deleted my histories to no avail. Removing and reinstalling Firefox did not help. Rebooting didn’t do it either. Have I caught a malware that my antivirus protection has failed to detect? Is it a bug in the app?

I’m stumped.

Since updating to 123.4 it frequently happens that I tap a link in a website and it loads about:blank and won’t stop doing that until I force quit Firefox and restart it

If I install Firefox 124.0, will I have an opportunity to change the default tab order setting to "Tab Order" instead of "Recently Opened" before the browser messes up the order of my 100s of open tabs?

When I open Firefox to my home page any additional tabs that I open keep crashing. The page tells me that it has crashed and there is a restore tab button there but that doesn't work and the crash message just comes back.

For the last month photos on my browser won’t open photos. I checked my setting and show photos tab was off which was weird so I turned it on then I was able to see photos but when I closed that tab opened a new tab it went back to no show. Totally Killer loves my Zilla

Hello. I was told viaApp Store review to come here and describe my issue. So I was hoping to upload my video to better show off what I am having major issues with. Unfortunately I cannot. So I'll settle with uploading the screencaps of what I see Everytime I go to a different tab in my plethora of tabs open.

The best way I can describe it is that I jump around tabs when I focus in on one, even if it's brief. And it's annoying to find out where I left off Especially when I open a new tab in the background. No other browser does that and if they did, it's been long fixed already.

So starting from the Homepage, I scroll up a bit to open up the next screenshot of Otakon. Once I go back to the tab page, I jump to a different area entirely, the last tab no where to be found but still present. So I then scroll up more to the definition of 'ambition' and then go back to the tab page. Now I'm back to where the Otakon tab was at. It's just lots of that using the browser and it's annoying especially if I'm doing a little shopping.

Starting with the most recent update, 123.0, when I ctrl-click a link in Twitter or Blue Sky, the link opens in a new tab, but Firefox does NOT jump to the tab automatically. In any other site, the browser performs as expected. My options are set correctly, and all the relevant about:config settings are set to False. Using Windows 10, 22h2.

Hello. I experience a problem that occurred 2 days ago. Firefox seems to ignore my preferences of opening previous windows and tabs, also it ignores pinned tabs. Some of websites disappear from the history (let's say i opened few windows to check if tabs will be saved by firefox, closed browser, opened it after few minutes: tabs are gone, history has only few of websites that were open. I tried to look for the problem by myself but failed. I will be grateful for your reply, thank you in advance.

All my inactive tabs on Firefox iOS are unable to be opened, whenever I tap on them the page won’t load and I can’t even copy the url from the search bar since there’s nothing there, and half the time the app crashes too whenever I’m on one of the inactive tabs.

I also can’t use the hamburger menu to copy the link or send to another device, and though the tab thumbnail is saved in the cache the page itself refuses to load.

Is there a way to bring them back? I’m running the latest version of the app and iOS.

When I click on the home button, I expect the browser to navigate to the home page. This works on all browsers that I know, aside from Firefox for Android. On Firefox for Android, it opens the home page in a new tab. This is not configured by me, it's certainly not expected, it's not intuitive, and I don't see a way to disable this "feature".

Is this a bug? If it is a "feature", how can I disable it?

Note that the home page itself is fine, and it offers exactly what I want it to have. There's no need to change the behaviour or looks of the home page itself.
