I closed all my tabs and reopened the browser bc I was getting lag on sites like X.com when typing my messages. Immediately after opening Firefox again, my homepage, MSN.com was loaded. I tried to click on the arrow to scroll through the different headline stories and nothing happened. I used Chrome & Opera to load the same page and they work fine. This seems like a Firefox thing. I have no extensions or permissions that deny me the right to click on anything. What is the problem?

I went through all the trouble of adding everyone's address and phone in my Address Book and saved each one and went back later and none of the addresses or phone numbers were there. Simply didn't save. Not going to re-enter until I can figure it out!

I have been using your product thunderbird for my email purposes. Recently I upgraded my HDD capacity to 4TB and copied all my files across, which worked OK.

My thunderbird email platform now has two inboxes and the incoming mail appears in both inboxes, which is becoming inconvienent.

Q: How do I delete one of those inboxes with out risking a major loss of folders?

This is apparently an unusual thing, I've searched for months and found no mention. Most contacts in my address books receive, forward, reply to emails in Thunderbird as you'd expect. There is one frequent contact, and possibly only one contact, person in my address books with whom this strange thing happens. And it happens not all the time, but frequently. A message will arrive with the header showing from 'Bob' and to 'Me'. As you'd expect. When I hit 'reply', the blank response message is created from 'Bob' to 'Me'. Opposite of what it should. Naturally, I assume Thunderbird is doing what it always does and I don't notice that, going straight to the reply. Until my reply hits my inbox seconds later, as being from 'Bob' to 'Me' and is not saved in the Sent folder. Usually I just forward that received mail to 'Bob', who at first got confused that I'm forwarding my own response. It seems to happen in batches, but then another message from 'Bob' to 'Me' will reply normally from 'Me' to 'Bob'. Always the same accounts. Both accounts are gmail, if that matters.

Why is there problem wit this conservative website ? Only because it's conservative and not leftist ?!

For several weeks I have had to go to webmail to get mail. It is there, but Thunderbird is not downloading it regularly...only sometimes. I have uninstalled T, and re-installed it several times. Sometimes this made a difference and downloading resumed, but for the past 24 hours no mail has downloaded. It is time to quit T?

I use both gmail and hotmail with Thunderbird. When I send a Hotmail message, the recipient's inbox shows the note came from gmail. So, when they respond to sender, it goes to my gmail account. Is there a way to fix this ?

I keep telling thunderbird that messages are not junk, but it keeps putting them back in the Junk folder. The messages come from people in my address book. What the f... is going on? It is extremely annoying. I have been using thunderbird forever. I would have to switch to microsoft software. Please help!

When I followed instructions, it sent the login file to the flash drive I designated but in an Excel format & I don't know how to print it in a readable (.doc format). Any help is greatly appreciated. bucretired@yahoo.com

Suddenly a new message will arrive with several related messages attached as happens with a search. The new message is not bolded and is difficult to see. What have a done? I have been using Thunderbird for at least 20 years and now feel lost.

A few days ago I accidentally deleted my browsing history and I have lost some pages that I need to revisit, is there a way to get the browsing history back as of 12/20/2023

Lately, every time I turn on my computer, Google comes up as my browser. I believe that Avast, for which I have a paid subscription, is responsible for this hijacking. I have never used Google as a browser, nor do I wish to. I have to constantly maneuver to use Firefox. I am not omputer savy, so I need help.

1. How can I prevent this? 2. Is there a Federal Agency to complain to? 3. Is Firefox aware of this?
