When using the the web browser, I used to be able to click on a link such as a vcard and it would automatically open outlook. Now it wants to save it to my disc. what is the setting for this. the same goes for a link that would open excel automatically but again it wants to save it first.

When i"m trying to open the Firefox, an error message is coming as "Hmm. That address doesn’t look right.

Please check that the URL is correct and try again.

Cannot delete items added to cart on patioslingsite.com using Firefox. Works ok using Google and Microsoft Edge browers. Using latest Firefox update on my Windows 10 OS and tried a few setting changes in Firefox without resolve. Is there a particular setting that needs to be changed or is there something else going on?

I would be grateful if there is an answer to exporting the Thunderbird address book not in the .csv format into my Win 10 downloads file. I have had a new PC and had a nightmare sorting out my address book. A CSV app restored them but all over the place and have spent hours sorting the name and email addresses. I have tried copy and paste, no luck. Tried all the five 'save as types' but again no real success. I want save them in a simpler fashion. The font cannot be used when creating a message "arial narrow" Is there any way to install and use it? The font works in office applications, but thunderbird does not have it. How to restore and use it ??

I have lost my computer in a lightning strike and had Thunderbird on the old one. I use Linux mint and Thunderbird was preinstalled. But I can't use it because it always asks me for a password. I never used a password on my old computer and so I am stuck with using the web based email. What is the problem? Were do I get that password from? Do I need it at all?

Hello, I was trying to fix this issue on my browser but I was not able to do it. The OS is Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS 64-bit. Currently, I'm using Firefox version 99.0a1 but I had the same issue on version 97. Also, I have this issue on only one of my PCs. As I said in the subject: - The browser freezes the whole PC and I have to force reboot it. (I already disabled the hardware acceleration) - the recent download item open button does not trigger the opening of the folder. - If I try to download a file, the browser ask me where to save it. But if I try to download another one the browser shows me the directory with path /run/usr/1000/... I tried to delete places.sqlite but I received the same result. ... I downloaded Dropbox via Firefox and saved a document. I have my File Explorer set to open Dropbox files with Firefox. But … when I try to open my downloaded Dropbox file, Firefox opens, and I get a box that asks “Open File” or “Save File.” No matter which I click, a new screen opens with the exact same box, repeatedly. I have let computer sit, in case file was just loading slowly, but never does. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Dropbox several times, cleared Firefox cache, made sure my security allows downloads to Firefox. Can anyone help me? Let me add, the file in question is a family tree, and I was wondering if I might need to use something like Adobe Acrobat Reader as a third party location for opening this file. Thank you for any help you can provide.

I accidently uninstalled firefox browser and lost my homepage shortcuts to websites, tabs on the browser, saved passwords, bookmarks etc. I tried logging in after installing it again and apparently I didnt have an account. Is there any way to get my stuff back? It is a big blow and sets me back on a lot of things. Help Ryan

recently I had my windows 10 reinstalled and had to reinstall firefox before the reinstate of operating system I had a video add on for facebook that would let me save a video to my desktop so i can send to facebook or send privately in facebook chat> had an add on that did that but i can not find it anywhere. again i had forgotten the name i think it was browser downloader but not sure. I forgot the name but loved it also now after reinstalling fire fox in the setting where it says application and defaults i do not see my mp4 which is windows media player listed there. Hello, I am using Firefox 100 on Arch Linux (5.17.6-arch1-1) with GNOME 42.1, and after recent updates i doesn't play any videos, it is buffering them, plays a frame and pauses.

1. I reinstalled firefox. 2. I cleaned cache && cookies. 3. I removed extensions.

I can't remember my mozilla password and am trying to reset it. The reset link will not work it. It says the "reset password link expired" even though it was only sent a minute ago. I'm pretty sure some of my passwords have been compromised- a few weeks ago I couldn't sign in at all- firefox/mozilla didn't recognize my password. So I changed it- but now I cant remember the new password and I don't know if it would work even if I could. TIA

Hi, Acronis on my Mac (Big Sur) reports a high number of CRITICAL vulnerabilities relating to Veracode: e.g. ERROR: 'VERACODE:32409' is a malformed CVE-ID - and numerous other code numbers - too many to list.

I have just checked and my FF reports it is 100.0 still and no updates. I note that this was a problem in FF 84.x and was fixed. Can anyone advise me if there is a security update to FF and also should I avoid using it for the time being, subject to a fix?

I am closing out an old cable company account, but want to use Thunderbird to download and save my email from this account before closing it. Will closing this account (POP3), which would delete the emails from the host server, in any way affect my copy of those emails?

Once the account is cancelled, can I stop Thunderbird from trying to access the host server for email updates?

Am I correct in assuming I can't delete the non-existent email account from Thunderbird if I want to keep the emails from that account on my computer?
