On my Macbook Air M1, Firefox's UI and default scaling is perfect on my Retina display, but if I move the window to my external Philips 1080P monitor, some - but not all - interface elements are very over-sized, which makes Firefox unuseable on any external monitor I connect. (I have tested this with multiple other monitors)

Why is it so much updates all the time with Mozilla Firefox NIGHTLY Browser for the 127.0a1 version that was released 15th of April 2024? I don't even see the benefits of the updates or any information and what the content is in them. by clicking on "What new" doesn't show anything other than this from 15th of April.

ive built a new pc and have a flashing program popup every 10min. upon assistance from a really good pc guy, we've found its a firefox default browser agent with a long code.

its not listed in my scheduled tasks, eyt runs every 10min. only thing close to firefox would be thrunderbird, but iirc, mozilla and thunderbird are not longer the same company. either way. i need this thing to stop running every 10min.

Due to a corporate decision to stop offering email service, and after decades of being a faithful customer, COX dumped me into Yahoo. I was happily running Thunderbird, but now I'm unable to do so with yahoo. All online configuration instructions are out of date. Is there an accurate, up-to-date and step-by-step guide to configure Thunderbird to operate with yahoo email?

I'm used to typing one or two letters into the address bar and then the down arrow to access the same handful of websites every day. A few weeks ago, Firefox started randomly moving these around so that the same letters that have always made it open the same URL now opens a different URL and I have to actually search the suggestions. How can this annoying behaviour be fixed?

(a few months ago, the address bar wouldn't delete entries, but this problem vanished as mysteriously as it appeared)

My Yahoo IMAP account in Thunderbird no longer has any email showing in the Sent folder. There's plenty of mail in Yahoo Sent mail in the browser, but it's not finding its way into Thunderbird. I tried the Repair option, but I just get a typical message that I often see for Yahoo:

"The current operation on 'Inbox' did not succeed. The mail server for account Yahoo responded: [SERVERBUG] UID FETCH Server error - Please try again later."

The Yahoo account shows Sent mail in my iPhone. The Thunderbird Sent folder was seeing messages as recently as last week, so this seems to be a new problem, and I don't know if it's something that I did wrong by mistake. Thanks for any help.

By accident I deleted what I thought was a duplicate email account from my Thunderbird emails. I lost the whole account instead of just cleaning up the extra one the other one was deleted and it is a main email account for me and the inbox had emails I need.

How do I restore this account

Some of my emails aren't coming in correctly in Thunder bird. This randomly happened over the past few months but last couple days it's bad. The Google Sheets cells I have open on Firefox turn black. You can scroll and they will come back but just briefly and back to black. Very annoying as these are shared sheets for my business with other employees. It's not happening in Vivaldi Browser or Edge. I hate Chrome so not even trying it there but guessing it's fine. Seems to just be Firefox all of a sudden. See pic. Help please as I have no clue what's causing this.

I'm unable to send any emails from account on Thunderbird. This just started this week. All send attempts generate this Send Message Error:

Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Please turn on SMTP Authentication in your mail client. syn-076-088-235-065.res.spectrum.com ([192.168.1.25]) [76.88.235.65]:51343 is not permitted to relay through this server without authentication.. Please check the message recipient

This error for every recipient I typically correspond with. I have my same email account loaded into Outlook on another pc and I can send emails to all recipients without error from Outlook.

Firefox - latest version, in Win 11 updated version, on my home server, will not load google.com pages, but intermittently works OK - frustratng. Other browsers, eg. Edge and Chrome access sites as normal on my laptop on my home network. My laptop using Firefox will load google.com pages when on another network. Is it my server, or Google, or Firefox doing this ?? Please provide any advice on solving this problem.

I just signed onto Mozilla to do some emails and my history email and files no longer appear. My address books are there and ok.

How do I get my history emails back?

I have used Firefox as my default browser. However, when ever I click a link in my outlook email...it opens the page in MS edge. How can fix the issue and ensure the page opens only in Firefox.

My Wife's computer - still on Windows 10 - says it can't start Firefox as it is still running, hitting the "close Firefox now" button just returns us to the same screen. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Firefox it tried to do a "reinstall" it says her profile is no longer available, while inconvenient she still should be able to start it up, but it still gives me the same message. that it is still running and needs closed. Trying to "close it doesn't do anything. I have restarted several times and even did a shut down and restart. Nothing seems to work. I assume some "stub" of Firefox is out there in the system/cache making Firefox think it is is still active but I can't find it to shut it down. Where do I need to go to "end task" on this phantom Firefox?

Other information: 1. We have Norton Security software installed, if that matters. 2. The same seems to happening to Thunderbird, but maybe I need to go to another help forum for that? 3. I am entering this issue from my computer that seems to be just fine with Firefox, so can't send browser data as it is irrelevant to the issue (it's on a different computer and install instance.

I'm trying to use the built-in PDF Editor features after finding out about it but every PDF file I open with Firefox has the options grayed out (as shown in the screenshot). What should I do to re-enable the features?
