Only within Firefox for Android is the Icon for images on my Android 11 mobile, using Gboard keypad, is broken. For several weeks now.

All it brings up is ONLY GIFs options.

Tested upload images to Twitter x via the inbuilt Chrome browser. It worked fine.

Updated Firefox app to the latest. Tried turning off Ghostery add-on. No difference at all.

Any advice please. Seems only a couple of people lately have posted on this issue. But saw similar issue from some years ago.

I've been trying to make an addon unremovable on android, but android firefox doesn't seem to have Policies like the main version, and I was wondering if there was a way to do remove the "manage/remove" option on mobile?

...Desktop site option setting does not stick! After switching tabs for 5 mins, it changes back to mobile site view & I HAVE TO X out of tab, reopen it, & check desktop site again! You can't just reset the desktop site option on & off either, doesn't work. You MUST X out the tab & start all over. ...It's a real pia! In older versions it always worked, always defaulted even days later! However, NOT in the last few versions, why can't it still currently work now? It should! ...And god for bid you find any real support! And probably won't get it here either. ...."IS" there ANY real, live support around here? A developer email? Anything??? When I just went on Mozilla it said that my account was not active and took me to a page that said 400 error. It didn't look right so I hit on it and it took me to Mozilla page and the message saying my account was not active was gone. I feel like I am getting directed to fake pages.

I have a Samsung android phone. I have a pull down menu to show me who's texting, updates on daily news, the weather, etc. I'm getting notifications from something called tqnq.titan. then it days "tap here to check your device" Then right after that it'll say "your device is hacked" or "we will lock your phone soon. Too much spam" It says Firefox but nothing happens when i tap the notification. What is this and is it spam or a virus? I've been constantly cleaning my phone and running my anti- virus program. It states my phone is clean, but what are these weird notifications I'm getting that I've never gotten before? I'm concerned.

Hi! I switched to Firefox some years ago for a lot of purposes. Firstly I wanted a secure browser and a browser which help me in web devopment. Currently I use Firefox Developer Edition on my pc, but I'm writing this message by my mobile phone. I want to represent Firefox with some stickers can I have one to decorate my laptop? Thanks a lot for every thing.

What I want is: 1. History should either not be saved, or alternatively auto-deleted after a certain time (e.g. only keep history of the past hour), or as a last resort get deleted when closing the browser. 2. I want to keep the ability to restore recently closed tabs. I realize this is a bit in conflict to not having a history, but just remembering the last few closed tabs would be enough, or all tabs closed in the last few minutes. 3. When I restart the browser (after pressing "Quit"), I want it to restore my previously open tabs 4. When I restart the browser (after pressing "Quit"), I want to keep cookies and logins (i.e. not get logged out everywhere, and have the cookie dialogues after restarting the browser). 5. Not super important, but ideally I want to keep my saved favicons/website logos in the bookmarks and on the new tab page after a restart.

So basically I just want to way for the history to be empty or automatically pruned, without sanitizing any other data on exit or browsing in a kind of permanent private mode.

I haven't yet found the correct configuration to do this. If there is an extension or about:config option for doing this, please also let me know (I'm happy to switch to Firefox Beta or Fennec F-Droid which have full extension support and expose about:config functionality.)

Hi , I have Firefox on old android device ( android 4.0.1 ) and I have a lot of bookmarks on it . I need to backup or save my bookmarks to use it on my new android phone . The problem ( I can't sync or use my fireFox account on the old phone because Firefox not support android 4.0 anymore _ so old devices can't sync anymore) When I try to sync it give an error with empty page.

Hello, i am no it techic woman, just a normal user of firefox for all my different email-adresses. the firefox design changed completly. and for me and my eyes and brain it is a terrible design! i cannot read anything proberly! its all one mess for my eyes! i am sorry to say that... but ... how can i change back to the old layout? if no change back possible, i think i have to choose a different IT-System... i am sorry.. .but this does not work for me! it makes my eyes tired ... its such a crowded design...

When Adding a Shortcut to the Android Home Screen, it allows you with a pop-up option to Rename the Shortcut before placing it on your Home Screen.

However, when attempting to Install a Progressive Web App (from compatible Web App web sites), and clicking Install, it does NOT give you the opportunity to Rename the Shortcut.

In contrast, Chrome/Android allows the name change in both cases (non-Web App and Web App sites).

Is this feature in the works on FireFox Android?

Is there a work-around to Rename Shortcuts either before or after placing them on the Home Screen ?

I am constantly getting notifications from Firefox and cannot cancel them. They appear on my login screen and on home screen (see screenshot). Cannot swipe them away and cant find way in FF. Only way to get them to go away is to restart phone.

Usually notification comes from an active web page but now getting them from Firefox itself. Current one just says "About home".
