Using: Mull 119v (firefox fork) android 12

I need to change the download folder from my phone intern memory to my SD card, but I don't see the option to do it, I've seen forum post of people saying It can be done by entering about:config in the browser, but that doesn't work.

I have used Firefox on many systems - MacOS, Linux, Winblows and mainly Android Cellphone.

"about:config" on a Cellphone has never worked, never worked consistently, or mainly been confused with Desktop Firefox :P

Hello?!? The future is mobile not stationary desktops  :P But I digress. Please dont misunderstand me - I love FF - but when I want "about:config" on A Cellphone - I WANT IT to actually work on a freaking cellphone  :P

Is the software config too much for International Mozilla to understand? Or has Mozilla had way to much input from everyone on the planet thus watering down an otherwise great browser?

Kind of rhetorical - I know it will never be fixed in favor of locking in a dieing desktop setup  :P

I recently downloaded Firefox and attempted to create an account- TWICE! When I attempt to use the Firefox account/ app I get a page saying I should download Firefox! I ALREADY DID!!!- TWICE. Have an application support technician check it out and FIX IT!

Firefox for Android is constantly hanging on my Xiaomi MI9 (Android 11). Let's say I open the Firefox, browsing some time, then open another tab and it's hanging. I had to force stop it and restart. This is happening every day multiple times per day. I also noticed that "Share" menu doesn't load anything, neither my devices nor applications, if the Firefox is about to start hanging. If I open any link in a new tab after I see that I cannot share the current page - it will be hanging. It also often starts hanging when I click the URL bar, when I try to copy the URL of the current page. I cannot willingly reproduce the issue. Sometimes it just works great no matter how much I was browsing and how many apps I switched. Sometimes it starts hanging very close after loading the browser. The very usual pattern is the following: I open the browser, start searching something, like "flight tickets", go to some site, and then open any link from this site in a new tab. And it starts hanging. This happens let's say 5-10 times per day. Sometimes it happens every time repeatedly, one after another. But sometimes not. I'm using latest version of Firefox from Play store.

I've already described the issue on the XDA forum, but nothing has been resolved and the problem is still there and I've read about security vulnerabilities in the browser and it could have fallen into this one Party I don't know anymore. but since the version with the ending 17, I don't remember exactly now. I'm having a problem with my phone's security. VirusTootal detects the Trojan for me in applications where the Trojan is not present.

I've tried cleaning my phone.but it doesn't help.

I'm using F-Droid and I'll use this example to tell you what's going on. for some time now I have been updating almost all the new ones that I download zl from there I also download with a Trojan, these applications are clean in other users. The ones from Google Play have some too. Be it from github or fdroid -It doesn't matter :( Some manage to be clean, but really these are the cases.. Of course, I also downloaded mods. thanks for the reply and tips. health for all' I would like to add that I used this browser because of the add-ons and options.. The photos are just a preview and a fraction of the problem. Nothing helps from resetting, deleting apk by even adb and after updates.

I use a samsung galaxy A12, and I have issue with the download functionality. Whenever I'm downloading and I pause or the Internet becomes bad, when I resume the download or "try again", it completes the download but the file becomes corrupted and won't open in my phones storage. And I notice that the size of the file is always less than the actual size downloaded, which indicates that it stopped downloading into the local storage at the point it paused or network became bad.

It'll download completely, but the file downloaded into the phone becomes corrupted and useless. It's annoying that a browser has such a problem in 2023.

Please, fix up ASAP.

In order to complete last update I had to Uninstaller and reinstall Firefox for Android. Now all my collections are gone !!!!! How can I retrieve My Colections?

My computer was compromised And as a result I had to repair and re install my Microsoft operating system windows 10 pro. That procedure wiped out my Firefox browser and now I have no record. Is there a backup that the browser keeps on a cloud.

I keep getting notifications that I need to purchase antivirus McAvee and that I have several virus that need to be taken care of. My McAvee account I did not renew this year nor do I desire to at anytime in the near future. I want to know why Firefox keeps sending me messages to purchase it. I would appreciate an answer so I know that my options are. Thanks you.
