I have two computers which names starts with "UNIT" and followed by some numbers that differs. If I want to send tab from mobile to one of them I cannot determine which is which because device name is cut after 4 characters. See attached screenshot. Thanks

Why is Firefox/Android not using the system wide voice typing feature? Instead it uses its own incomplete implementation. I need an English GUI with german voice typing. This is no problem when using the system wide keyboard config. This runs smooth and perfect. But in Firefox it’s not possible to define such. Why?

I have passwords and bookmarks saved on my desktop and laptop PCs. How do I import those to my Android and Apple devices with Firefox? I don't want to have anything in the "cloud", because of the possibilities of hacking. Thank you.

I last updated Firefox on Feb 5, and had Ublock, Privacy Badger, and Search by Image we add-ons. Tonight, just randomly, I noticed that typed text wasn't appearing in the text box (although the suggestions showed up in the keyboard) at all on every webpage and site.

Uninstalling and reinstalling (along with the add-ons) did the trick. I am really curious what the root cause was. Hopefully nothing sinister.

I'm on a TCL 30XE 5G running Android 12.

Videos will immediately start playing upon loading a page, even with Firefox set to 'block audio and video'. This happens on YouTube and Reddit.

Autoplay blocking only works if the page is opened in a new tab.

I'm in Missouri and my Internet browser thinks I'm in North Carolina and due to there State laws I'm restricted from certain web sites. This happens about 2 or 3 times a week.

Hi, I can use firefox anymore, because it is not usable. If I switch between programs in Android, example firefox to mBanka, then back to Firefox, tab in Firefox will reload and cannot complete forms! All lines are clear. Next problem: If I reuse tab, I cannot load new page, I must close this tab and use new one.

I am a frequent user of Firefox on multiple platforms, including Android 14, where I frequently use DeX.

However, I am many times forced to use Chrome or Samsung Internet on DeX to get a professional computer desktop experience.

Firefox does not recognize different mouse button clicks and neither does it view websites with high resolution, not even after selecting "Desktop mode", but instead shows a zoomed-in phone view. (I gave tried selecting various zoom levels in settings.) There may be other shortcomings as well.

Perhaps some of the issues can be avoided by changing some settings? However, please address the issue of providing a full desktop experience in DeX. Thanks for a great browser in most other respects on multiple platforms.

HTML5 video is becoming very choppy as soon as audio is enabled. The playback is fine before that. Tested across multiple websites.

I search a query in private browsing tab its response back with relevant pages if i click on any response it immediately open that link in normal tab i have attached screen short for your reference. Firefox android RAM memory usage gets sometimes high. I have no addons and only view tabs. Max RAM usage rises to 2 GB and my phone freezes. Opera always runs smoothly with no problems.

Videos "stuttering"/ choppy but audio is fine. Tried watching in many sites but have the same problem. Videos is working fine in other browsers.

When I browse outlook mail on compose, suddenly it appear very lagging, I not got a chance to write a letter or alphabet, very slowly to type and almos5 hang and consume much memory. This always happen. On other website or open inbox on outlooj mail still fine, but when you in compose page, you experience lagging, even you didnt do anything. Can you fix this?

Hello all. I have a strange problem, sorry for the length. So I have a windows pc, and 2 android devices, a cell and a tablet. Sync has not really worked well for over 3 years, and I'm trying yet one more time to fix this. I honestly don't believe it can. Each device is pretty much on its own, so I do not see all of my articles/tabs on all 3. If you were to take a look at each, the tabs are all different. I've tried everything. So let me ask this: is there a way to manually do this? I guess I'll just have to do that. I've signed in and out on both android devices, hit the sync button on all 3, looked for updates on all 3, etc. My cell didn't even show up on my pc for 3 years. I don't want to mess with that one yet {cause it's windows}, I've gone into settings, tried what the articles suggest. Nothing. Weirdly, my bookmarks are fine {thank goodness}. Please help.
